- In this video I sketch a Cottage that's located in Anna Marie Island in Florida. I use pen and watercolor to create a colorful sketch and narrate the video in real time.
The birds in the background are a little chatty so I'm sorry.
Correction: I used Cobalt Turquoise Hue on the house not Cobalt Blue.

I find myself looking at a building, and sketching it in my mind, thinking of the colours, shapes, shadows. In my mind, in fact, I'm an amazing sketcher/painter! Haha. I'm still watching, but i wo der ic you could use a white marker or fine liner pen for the white reflections on the turquoise. Ian Fennelly is good but he doesnt do tutorials much on youtube. See Taria, or Doug Jackson, Toby Sketch.... not entirely sure of the full names, sorry! Mx

I love the real time! The thunder was so cool. You need to que that more often! 🤭. I too am an Ian Fan! So inspiring! But seriously…. I love your style too. Today I was working on a piece for my sister. She just bought a house and I’m making an ink and watercolor sketch of her new home for her as a gift. I’ve done this for other family and friends, but today I was more thoughtful of the process. I could hear you saying, “be mindful of what’s in front”. So far it’s turning out nice. It’s a super simple house without much flourish, so I put a pretty Arizona sunset to frame the house!. I hope she loves it. Great job!
One of my other favorite artists is Jillee arts. I think she’s from the Philippines. Her English is perfect. She does real time videos as well. Sometime she will paint the building with a wet on wet technique first! Then sketch on top of that! It makes for a really unique look. She hasn’t been on much lately and now I’m worried about a person I don’t even know. So don’t you go disappearing and make me pace the floor. 😊

Yesterday Naples had a big storm and the lighting and thunder was so crazy. My dogs get so scared😩
I feel horrible for dogs in shelters that have to suffer alone.
