From 1991 to 1994 I lived in Carey Mansion. It was part of Salve Regina's property and was a men's dorm at the time. Behind your head at 15:13, on the upper level was the "Bowling Alley" as we would call it. It was a gigantic room with a fireplace that house 6 guys. Later I moved to the single wing which is on the other side of the building. To your right, with the big windows on the lower portion of the building in the same frame, that was the Rec Room. Pool table, Foosball and Ping Pong. And we'd hold our monthly dorm meetings there. And yes, before you ask, it was and is haunted. There are things I cannot explain to this day.
@@suzyq555 There were many things that went unexplained. Sounds that you just couldn't explain. The housekeeper walked down the hallway once and was stopped. Literally stopped. She couldn't go forward backward any which way for a moment. Like something was holding her in place. We did see an apperation of woman in the staircase at one point in time which freaked us out. She took off and we followed her but she disappeared. It was one of the greatest experiences of my lifetime living in that grand old mansion. Something the kids at Salve will never be able to experience as it was given back to the family and now is for sale for $30,000,000....if you have some spare change lying around. LOL
@@chrisguitargarage327 Thank you. If I win the lottery . I want to buy it. I might make some small changes. Like add a elevator . Paint the entire mansion. Add some extra bed rooms. Plus ten other bath rooms. A few more game rooms. Plus add video cameras in every room . To catch some ghosts on camera. Then put a huge , fiber glass pool in the back yard with a winding water fall . Plus a big beautiful dog house. For my two ( KANGAL LION ATTACK DOGS ) . Then my ( TWO GERMAN SHEPHERDS ) . Thanks.
Thanks for showing the , Dark Shadows Mansion. The inside and the out side. If I had the money I would buy this mansion. It does need a paint job. I might make some improvements . Like put a elevator in the mansion. Plus make extra bed rooms. A game room . Filled with video games. Plus a bigger den. A pool table room. A plus a 3 foot to 10 foot built in Fiber Glass pool . With a beautiful different colored light built in pool . With a beautiful fifty foot high winding water fall slide. Plus a jacuzzi . With hot and warm water with bubbles and bubble soap. With a out side flower garden . Of various roses and flowers. The a fruit garden . With rows of orange trees. Rows of peach trees. Rows of banana trees. Rows of plum trees. Then a twenty foot by twenty foot area to grow pineapples . The rows of Avocado trees. The a fifty foot by fifty foot area to grow cherries , straw berries . The fruit would be watered by automatic sprinklers . The I would hire local farm workers to pick and sale my fruits in town . Or open my own store. I sure would love to have this mansion. There is just so much I could do with this mansion. If I do win the lotto . I will see if I could buy this beautiful mansion. Thanks for this video. I loved the television sit com series of ( DARK SHADOWS ). I am currently watching episodes on Tubi . Right now. Right now they are in black and white .Later in the series the program of Darks Shadows is in color. Thanks again.
Sorry to disappoint you, but oranges, avocados, and pineapples won't grow in RI, unless you grow them in a heated greenhouse. It's too cold here in the winter. Yes, I live in RI. Been here all my life. Who knows, global warming might change everything.

This is so cool thank you for sharing. This is so on my bucket list of things to do and I live on Cape Cod. It's practically in my backyard.
I love this video shot at my favorite house in the world, Seaview Terrace, the real Collinwood from Dark Shadows!
I really liked that you included original background music from the show.
Every time I go, I never want to leave. Thanks for sharing!!
The mansion would make a great bed and breakfast for visitors of RI
loved it; would love to go there.
Thanks for this
How you get in there, do you know owners or wrote them
Nope. Special invite by a friend.
