All three games had a lot of brutal deaths,but Henry death is still the worst,for the combination of weapons used,the screams and the fact that he was still alive when Vito and Joe come to him,very impressive , especially the first time that i saw it back in 2010..

The whole story of Henry was just so brutal. When you find out what he really was and you look back at how nice he was to Joe and Vito nothing seems to justify his murder.
Supposedly he was a rat
He ruined Vito's life from the very beginning. Vito ended up 6 years in prison because of Henry... and he was probably going to mess up again him and Joe (getting them killed or imprisoned). I dont know his whole plan with the feds with the chinese etc... probably wanted to arrest everyone involved in the Dope business, falcone and chinese criminal organization. But the chinese outsmarted him and caught up his whole plan and killed him... if they knew about that, vito and Joe would have joined them killing henry in the park, instead of avenging him.
So we can blame henry even for the sad part that vito and Joe got separated forever.
I never liked him personally, but i didnt think that he was that bad (being a rat). I know that henry, being a cop, Is the "good side" and vito, being part of the mafia and a killer, is the bad side, but we are playing from vito pov.
I have no sympathy to Mafia 2 main characters. Vito and Joe were just two stupid bandits who thinked that they were important, but in reality were used as a tool.
Vito was the most stupid character without dilema and it is impossible to sympathize him. He started doing crime since he was a schoolboy, and because of Joe's fault he went to prison, and then to the war. But this idiot, after he returned from the war, still considered Joe his friend, even though Joe had abandoned him. Then, through the fault of Joe and Henry, Vito went to prison for 6 years, and then he began to engage in crime anyway. And Vito's motivation cannot be explained by the fact that he allegedly wanted to repay his father's debt, because this is not the case. And Henry, according to the FBI mole, was an FBI rat in the mafia.
I love the O’Neill death I liked the way that it actually seemed like Vito was genuinely mad at Brian for making noise when his throat was cut

Watching Henry being killed still sent shivers down my spine despite me playing maifa 2 countless times. It's definitely the most brutal death in the Mafia series and it comes out of nowhere.

The Voice actor for henry really did a great job, those screams creeped me out when i was 13 and still creep me out at 23. Seeing/hearing the cool older gangster whose supposed to be the suave robert deniro type getting hacked to death with cleavers was really shocking
I was really traumatized and shocked when i first saw henry got killed. I just couldnt imagine people slashing knives on you alive. I also didnt expect henry to be an informant. He's actually a good character
You be surprised t turns out the lead writers confirmed that Henry wasn't a Rat he was set up by falcon their was even some unused dialogue for when falcon admit it.
I’m assuming that’s when the game was going to have multiple endings, but in canon Henry was a rat since Falcone lashes at Vito for bringing a rat to his house in the final fight
Henry was a rat from the beginning, even before vito and the others joined falcone family.
Henry planned everything to get vito arrested, sending him to steal from a federal building. He didnt think he would come back from that, and thats why henry says "no shooting or you get 1/3 of the profits". He doesnt want vito to kill his mates feds. When Vito comes back, then henry has a Plan B to cause trouble to him, sending him to sell those gas stamps. He had an accord, most likely, with that informant at the gas station.
After 6 years and with clemente dead, henry plans to move on the Falcone family and get them arrested, especially for the dope business, and thats why he pushes up to make deal with the cinese.
His Plan was, again, to kick vito in prison, and this time Joe too, along with all the chinese in that factory. His plan got uncovered by the chinese spy in the feds... and he ended up killed like we know etc...
Long comment, i know, but its for the people who still believe that henry was a good pal to vito and Joe and was framed by falcone. All lies, falcone would have said that in the last scene, instead of saying, again, that henry was a rat. I never suspected from the beginning that he was a cop, but still i never liked him that much. Joe is more cheerful and a real friend to vito.

How is Tommy getting shot once in this list but Morello crawling out of a crashed plane while burnt and mangled and getting riddled with bullets isn't? 😂
The physiological value of tommy in the series is major he started it off so it emotionally hurts to have him die but yes Morello had a death he deserved

To be fair, Tommy got a 12 gauge to the center mass, Morello received .45s, but there really should be more mafia 3 deaths, alot of them were really brutal. The death of Olivia Marcano, The High Priest, Giorgi, the CIA Agent and that one Merc in the plane were all brutal deaths.
Giving Vito all districts in Mafia 3 most logical choice ever and the most loyal choice

i gave all of them 3 districts each, all were happy and I didnt chose to rule the city, Vito took control anyway

Henry was my favorite side character as he was cool and collected and acted like a real wise guy. When he died I was pretty pissed but was happy we were able to at least raid the Chinese restaurant and get revenge even if he was a rat.
Lets be Honest Mafia 3 and some on 2 got the most Gruesome deaths.
Carlo and Joey Crackers from the first mafia game were pretty up there too.
When first played mafia 2 and saw Henry’s death, It looked liked they were just kicking him until it showed what they were actually doing and I though “that’s a bit of an overreaction to getting kicked a bit”. As soon as I saw him getting butchered with knives my jaw dropped
I thought the same thing, I thought he was just getting punched and kicked, then I saw the meat cleavers and realized he was getting hacked up and butchered

Honestly, Tommys death in DE is way more heart wrenching then in 2. Go through his whole adventure of being a mobster in the prohibition times. And he gets a little pop by a shot gun and dead. That's fucked up for m boy, did him justice in the remake

Henry's Death had me in tears. I always loved how cool Henry, Vito and Joe was. Even though all of them was at the top shows that you could fall to the bottom again. It was sad I've seen worse than Henry's Death like in Manhunt 2(if you played manhunt 2 you know what I mean if you didn't play it just watch one of the executions in the game.) But, Henry's Death was just genuinely sad compared to most characters deaths. Still gonna be One of my Favorite Mafia Characters Out There.
