People on TH-cam keep saying it’s the timing belt tensioner but when I take off my timing belt it still makes that knocking noise. Only at low RPMs though. What else could it possibly be?

I have the same noise will replace the serpentine belt hopefully its just stretched an will.not have to spend money on the tensioner idle pulley system

Unlikely unless you have a noisy belt slipping on your alternator.
