I will be 60 in December and most of my life alone. Have I been lonely? I don't think so, sure there's been times I would have enjoyed a companion. But more stress than the value of coexistence. It may seem complicated, but it's not. Alone and loneliness is a frame of mind. Most co companions, tend to be opportunists that seek a free living by sucking off others. Parasites. I get it! He's not lonely, he's just alone!
I'm proud to call myself a confirmed bachelor, but just because I don't have somebody, doesn't mean I'm lonely. I'm just smart enough to stay away from relationships due to the fact I have no intention of being divorced or cheated on. Plus, I don't believe in premarital sex, because anytime an unmarried couple engages in sex, they are deliberately thumbing their noses at God.
Maybe Jimmy was lucky and was raised without a family... IDK but I was raised in a close family and live by the fact that a man can't be a man without a family. It's not a wonderful thing to die alone.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc You are correct but I'm not talking about strangers I'm talking family F-A-M-I-L-Y-! If your family exists in the range of "normal" then it's all good. I remember as if it was yesterday. In the late 80’s my husband and I were in the Stardust Casino and J.J. Walker was sitting at the bar with two white girls, one on each side of him. My husband and I approached him for an autograph and he turned his back and totally ignored us. From that point on he showed us his true colors. It was so hurtful to see him act in such a manner. Jimmie Walker may have never married, but he's probably happier that way, like me. Nobody to tell me what to do or how to do it. I can come and go as I please, do what I want when I want, and not be answerable to anybody. Not being in a relationship means I am not tempted to sin sexually, because God expects the marriage bed to be kept pure, and will judge the adulterer. Couples who are sexually intimate with each other without being married are committing adultery, even if it IS consensual.

Funny how he opposed gay marriage for 'moral' reasons when morals have nothing to do with the matter. Morality is about consensuality, not tastes. It's only immoral if it is non-consensual. I heard from many friends in the business that he was gay and couldn't deal with it.

I guess I don’t see “foolishness stereotypes” having been “foisted” upon black actors as Roll claimed. “Foolish stereotypes” in the 70’s /80’s sitcoms were foisted upon characters like Archie Bunker (All in the Family), Jack Tripper (Three’s Company), Ted Baxter (The Mary Tyler Moore Show) and Darrin Stephens (Bewitched.) Black men were presented as strong, smart, and even wealthy, like George Jefferson ( The Jeffersons) James Evan’s ( Good Times) and Dr. Huxtable (The Cosby Show.)
I do believe we all have companions, people that if we met, really could be our soulmates... THE PROBLEM IS trying to meet such a person...I mean what if they're in China or Russian or Africa or Italy, odds are you'll never meet them, so most people just settle. And or if do meet them or see them, do to immediate cultural or style differences, or running in different cliches, you both pass each other over never imagining that they were you soulmate.
The part about John Rich coming up with the catchphrase Dynomite is false...John Rich heard Jammie Walker say Dynomite on the set one day ... and he loved it and told Jimmie Walker to use it throughout the show. Y'all always wanna claim Black folk's culture and creativity.
This Headline like a lot of others on the Internet is FALSE! The 13 mins I reviewed did not answer his life, earnings, or much more than he did not get along with the cast!
Jimmy is gonna be missed. He seemed like a good dude. Shame this gets bogged down in racial bigotry. Seems like it was beat into the ground. At point television is about escapism. Even black people don’t wanna watch” The Color Purple” 24/7.
$800,000 net worth? That's struggling? Considering many actors and athletes from the 70's 80's even 90's don't even have that, he's doing fine at his age. If I had 800,000 saved up right now, at my age, I'd be on cloud 9...like hitting the lottery...OK.
Where's Jimmy's home? His Mercedes ? Ann Coulter? Being the 70s Step N Fetchit he should have bankrolled millions but Norman Lear hates positive portrayals of "black" men (George Jefferson). The only thing more corny than the background music was the narration. This piece had the feeling of Kansas in August ♥️
I know they used to live in Nebraska, Omaha? When I drove trucks, years ago, worked for Werner Ent, and Jimmy Walker had a radio show in I think Omaha, just like this video stated. He was a talk radio host for a long time during the 90's. Only heard it though for minutes at a time if driving through Nebraska.
I wish someone could, would, settle this myth or fact once and for all. I even asked Ann Coulter this once on twitter, years and years ago, never really got an answer.
People like this these lies don’t have nothing else to do or say why because they don’t have a life or money or any family or friends that don’t gave a NOTHING about U or themselves so go somewhere and sit down a think about who u really are.
Maybe you just caught him in a bad mood. I mean I hear both sides of how celebs are, how some hate the paparazzi and flip out on them, there's plenty of footage of celebs going off in public when confronted at the wrong time, it's not unique to Jimmy W.

Those that aren't familiar with Jimmy can't imagine how popular this guy was in the 70's everybit as popular as Fonzy.

Hey love❤
The BS about there being someone for everyone is so common. A large percentage of people never find a companion.
I still watch good time b/ c jj was a fool keep me laughing jj & James is the reason y I watch good time
Every body is lonely at some point in their life
The part about John Rich coming up with the catchphrase Dynomite is false...John Rich heard Jammie Walker say Dynomite on the set one day ... and he loved it and told Jimmie Walker to use it throughout the show. Y'all always wanna claim Black folk's culture and creativity.
I compare my son and daughter to jj and Thelma
Dynamite 😂😂😂
mom said he asked her out back in the day. He was rude af
☹️
Why cant you just let him live and be him and loved for his acting and comedy that probably why he stays away from people
Shack looking like jimmy 😂
Where's his home?
The character was misrepresented in this video.
So in real life, he was a clown, and proud of it.
Ageed
Never no
I thought he used to date Ann Coulter.
No not at all
Never thought Jimmy Walker was funny…
tell us more and who else would you like to see a video on?
He is one of the most disgusting, and mean celebrities I ever met.
Maybe you just caught him in a bad mood.
I mean I hear both sides of how celebs are, how some hate the paparazzi and flip out on them, there's plenty of footage of celebs going off in public when confronted at the wrong time, it's not unique to Jimmy W.
I never liked his character or him as a person…👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
That hasn't stopped him from living a full life, nor should it stop you from living yours.
