As we all get older, travelling becomes more uncomfortable. As humans we naturally slow down. I’ve traveled on and off all my life. Now I’am 71 and traveled to more than 50 countries, it starts to loose it’s shine. I do still travel and Thailand is a good choice to stay long term, it’s one of the easiest and affordable countries to travel around while having a base near Bangkok 😊

I was surprised when I heard the terrible news about Anthony Bourdain. But it can happen to someone constantly on the move.Travel can be complicated and uncertain.Anxiety can lead mental fatigue. Alienation can lead to depression.Poor Bourdain probably felt no place to rest and re-regroup.He was not a young man. Older people do not handle transition and uncertainty as well as the young. TV

Some people just are not that attracted to travel or it's depressing for them or physically too uncomfortable. I'm in my 30s and already feel it, I hate flying and other transportation. Too stressful and health has been worse. This happens to a lot of people. Sometimes I would like to stay in my home country and explore there where the place feels closer to me like when I was a child. I like jonna jinton content, I think that kind of life could be nice. She makes content from her native Sweden where she lives in the north in summer and winter and very rarely travels

I'm glad you can get somewhere you feel safe and kick back for a while. A gen'l plan might be: " less cortisol, more endorphins" .
Aristotle said something about : the goal of action was reflection. I'd suggest - Plant some seeds somewhere, particularly the ones needing some stratification. Guerilla gardening can be great. The act of bringing something to life can provide healing. 🌲😎🌲

Sometimes it’s good to rent an apartment for 1-month and stay there to chill out and just explore the local area. Traveling every few days is very taxing, mentally and physically. Sleep quality also begins to suffer. I travel extensively but I need to recharge in one place every once in a while.

Rest is key. There are no routines while traveling. And we need routines to counteract the spontaneity of adventure traveling.

Relaaaaaax, was wondering already when you'll reach this point. Take a good break...traveling is super exhausting esp. when you don't have kind of a 'normal' home. Take care, stay safe, body and mind 🙏😘

Philippines has festival's. My wife is from Baybay Leyte and she was watching them on TH-cam for the past few weeks. You should go in the future to witness them. Cubu City has a huge one. She will be happy though that your taking a break. She always mentioned how you can not get tired from all the traveling. We have been worried about you. She will be happy you're taking a break. We care about you Gabe..

In those big asian cities, you can check in luggage much earlier at MTR or airport express stations in City centre. I did this in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Taipei, for example, in the morning for flight at mid night. You can also always leave the luggage with hotel concierge and pickup later, even days later.

So weird to see you standing in front of somewhere I drive by often haha, I'm just along for the ride and I admire you for being able to do something for a living you truly love to do. Even then you need a break, take a rest and when you get back on the road, I'll check out the new content. Take care, Gabriel!

I love your travel videos as I will never get to any of those places and don't have to because of you. You portray more than anyone could ever visit. I get stressed and worn out just watching your pace. Take time off and enjoy your freedom it is so well deserved.
