I don't understand the argument against being able to raise your testosterone. If one is low in testosterone for whatever reason, poor diet, sleep etc. Could you not raise your testosterone to a higher level? Hello vegan community. I switched to using coconut oil for cooking, but use quite a lot. I even spread it on my toast.. Is this still bad? Or because it is not from an animal, and thus contains no cholesterol, its cool?
It's still a processed food with lots of calories. I believe Dr Gregor has a video on coconut oil and so does Mic The Vegan. I still use some oil in my foods but it's because if my fat levels get too low my skin gets itchy. So, I would suggest watching the videos I mentioned above and also find a plant based doctor. Coconut oil is high in saturated fat which can raise cholesterol levels equivalent to animal butter. Try oil free cooking. Simnett Nutrition has good videos on this. Learn about coconut and saturated fat from nutritionfact.org, or Mic the vegan videos

This is not at all a fair critique of Evan Centopani. I've watched a lot of pros and what they eat. No other pro comes anywhere close to Evan. He always tries to include as much and as many varied veggies as possible in every meal, plus turmeric and other nutrients. He emphasizes greens, in particular. If he is behind the times on dietary cholesterol changing serum cholesterol levels, who isn't? I mean, we were first told it did raise levels. Then we were told it doesn't. Now it's back to, it does. So, he doesn't read medical journals. I didn't know either -- about dietary cholesterol being harmful. But I do watch my saturated fats (few egg yolks). Evan is very health conscious, does regular blood work and has regular check-ups. And, as a pro in the US, I'm sure he gets the best supply of drugs he is able to. Can't fault him there. It's his job. There is zero comparison between Evan and someone like McCarver or Piana. And, I've never seen him eat fast food. Some do. Obviously, what Centopani is doing, is working because his blood markers are good, according to what we are led to believe. This is one huge bodybuilder who should around a long time.
I know this is gonna be mind blowing but you can in the United States get testosterone and other anabolic steroids very easily legally from your doctor from my ex-husband it all the time the guy wrote a prescription he had a legal reason for it even stood up in divorce court so while I don’t think he should be using them and he clearly could be abusing them it’s not necessarily true that he’s getting them from some kind of black market

Since you don't even care if the most innocent humans live or not, Why do you care about people getting bad info? I don't think it's an unfair question and I really am curious. No one says you have to live to 70-80 years old. You can die in your 50s or 60s from heart failure to your pleasure and no one but family who care about you and a couple friends if you're lucky will really care. Why is it so much more important for people to live "healthy" than to live in general? And for those with a mental disability reading this: You have to go through the same process in the womb and develop the same way every single aborted child does. We're all human, we're all the same. If you're reading this it's because nothing went wrong and mostly cuz your mom didn't kill you for being inconvenient. For the record I agree about cholesterol. I can't even eat meat anymore from certain sources without chest discomfort. Could be gas or something idk but I eat meat once a week at best, no milk(eewww) no eggs even anymore and I never thought I'd give those up lol
That's just a silly statement. How about assessing the validity of an advice on the basis of its merits? Evan will be the first to tell you that abusing steroids is horrible for your health. He does it because he loves the lifestyle. But using steroids doesn't automatically make you ignorant about good nutrition. Knowledge of sound nutrition is not rocket science after all.

You did your own research but chose the " conclusion " that supports your taste buds. There's literally people on TH-cam who have who cut eggs out and put them back in with no other changes to their diet and their cholesterol went down and up.
Patrick Bateman anecdotally can be true. But most recent studies debunk the concern about eating whole eggs.
@@sircharlessinderhorn3452 are you actually reading studies or articles on blogs? Alot of studies are also wrongly designed KNOWINGLY by the egg board to get the result they want out of a study.
Patrick Bateman point well taken about money tainting study results. However in more than one recent study, results have been favorable for eggs. As for me, I eat 6-8 whole eggs per day and have been for years. Blood tests every couple months reveal my cholesterol levels to be mid-range. And I’m age 67. So at least for me it’s working out.
@@sircharlessinderhorn3452 Well what are your actual levels?
hey Richard thank you for keeping spreading the truth again and again!
Could you link the baseline cholesterol study?
Breaking news!!!
Life insurance policies now charge the lowest premiums for people who lift the heaviest weights, have the biggest muscles, the highest cholesterol, and eat the most meat.
You can eat eggs for testosterone, but some of the cholesterol you gotta run off if not clogged arteries will be in the future. Good points on this one.
Google eggs and cholesterol and look at all the articles that say dietary cholesterol doesn’t effect blood cholesterol
Hey Richard what are your arms at now? Like 19inches?

No wonder the man with low LDL was healthy, and he very well may have been an egg lover at the same time. It's because eggs rise HDL(good) cholesterol, and not the LDL(bad) cholesterol.
But the fact you are not mentioning either the difference between LDL and HDL or the fact that eggs rise HDL does not surprise me. Your record of intelectual dishonesty expains it all well.
claiming that eggs do not raise LDL is just too much, even as a joke.....
jay masters: mr vegan gains the creampie clean up guy
Can you do a video on Mark Bell? Pretty popular guy in the strongman community, and is eating just heaps of meat essentially. I love watching your videos, so it would be awesome if you did one. Keep up the good work!
You're really special Vegan.
“He has absolutely no idea what he’s talking about when it comes to nutrition.”
You say that as if you do.
Yet you don't supply a point as to why you think Vegan Gains doesn't know anything about nutrition. He backs up his claims on nutrition with facts and statistics so I think It's safe to say he knows what he's talking about.

I don't understand the argument against being able to raise your testosterone. If one is low in testosterone for whatever reason, poor diet, sleep etc. Could you not raise your testosterone to a higher level? I do not think hes suggesting that cholesterol will raise your testosterone so high your body will shut down its own production. He is probably suggesting it will be in its optimal range.
I much prefer these vids from you. Credit where it is due!
Hey I'm thinking of going vegan, can you make a video explaining how to do it safely
wehttam check out Mic The Vegans Channel for tips
But a vegan doesn't get the fatty acids necessary for brain boost. Olive oil flaxseed and black seed oil are healthy alternatives though, meat gives you the complete amino acids to rebuild and maintain. Some people just overindulged themselves.
I just started bulking and I'm having trouble getting enough protein because I'm not used to eating as much as I am currently. So not only am I consistently failing to hit my calorie goal I'm also not hitting any of my macro goals, especially protein. I bought eggs along with other protein-dense foods and while eggs are very convenient to make I don't eat as much as I want to because of the risk caused high cholesterol. Can I get some recommendations for protein-dense foods? Or even recommendations on bulking and hitting targets as eating a lot of food is something kind of challenging for me.
Try tofurky sausages, 30g protein, 300 calories, fortfified with nutrients and vitamins, $5.99 for a 4 pack. You can easily eat 2 or 3 with a meal.
Tofu and hummus.
Oatmeal too.

perhabs having low serum cholesterol is bad? and thus if you increase dietary cholesterol the body uses it to raise serum cholesterol fast? cholesterol is afterall used in various amounts of biological functions..
No there's no evidence that low cholesterol has a causal relationship with any health issues. If you watch the video I reference a case report where a 67 year old man had a genetic mutation that caused him to have ldl cholesterol that is 10 times lower than what is considered normal and his doctors noted that he was in very good health.
@@VeganGains all i know is that i eat alot of eggs, and my serum cholesterol is fine everytime i get a test done. there is so much data that provides evidence for each standpoint. I believe that cholesterol is a vital nutrient for the human being, seeing that every cell in our body is partially made from cholesterol and so is our hormones. but then again im in no way educated enough to debate one such as yourself.
@@maltezz we make our own cholesterol. Did you even watch the video or look up the resources he uses?
@@maltezz of course cholesterol is an essential nutrient. However, our bodies make it. Which is why my numbers are good, despite the fact that I haven't eaten any cholesterol in over 8 yrs.

LDL, HDL, triglycerides?
Claims vegans have higher T-levels due to diet. Claims 2 seconds later that consuming certain foods will not increase T-levels due to homeostatis mechanisms. Your argument doesnt make any sense.
Cholesterol intake doesnt really make a significant difference with steroid level concentration. Are you saying it does or it elevates all of them? The way you built the argument around this makes it seem like high cholesterol diets+ Aromatase Inhibitor would just lead to increases in T prod.
Ali Salman

Hello vegan community. I switched to using coconut oil for cooking, but use quite a lot. I even spread it on my toast.. Is this still bad? Or because it is not from an animal, and thus contains no cholesterol, its cool?
It's still a processed food with lots of calories. I believe Dr Gregor has a video on coconut oil and so does Mic The Vegan.
I still use some oil in my foods but it's because if my fat levels get too low my skin gets itchy. So, I would suggest watching the videos I mentioned above and also find a plant based doctor. There's a website called "Plant-based docs" I think it's linked through pcrm.org . Hope that helps
ASMRyouVEGANyet? Skin gets itchy? Interesting.
Coconut oil is high in saturated fat which can raise cholesterol levels equivalent to animal butter. Try oil free cooking. Simnett Nutrition has good videos on this. Learn about coconut and saturated fat from nutritionfact.org, or Mic the vegan videos
A little coconut oil on occasion is fine as it does have some beneficial constituents though mostly when used topically.
Fat is fat. That is that.
Olive oil is considered healthier than coconut oil because coconut is so high in saturated fat. Can be good for your skin and can help with rashes.
Evan " i dont take steriods, i eat cholestrol which is a precursor to steriods" 😂😂😂

Reminds me of the way Rich Piana spoke of nutrition
I like the stuff u do but common man stop spreading hate all the time. And what he’s doing obviously works.
why do so many people use the same pic??? weird
An easy one for VG.
According to science - eggs are good for you...
This is a joke right?
Getting paid for ads by including well known bodybuilders in the title?
Throw in a couple cherry picked studies. Few swivels in the chair.
Yeah, I'm a vegan
And here's why I'm right!
Stop with the clickbait
VG destroys another individual..I feel sorry for ur opponents. They go home butt hurt every time.
Never take nutrition or training advice from a steroid user. Period.
@@melkam647 Anabolic steroids are anabolic for a reason. You can literally starve your body of food and still remain anabolic. That's why steroid users eat shit food and still look good.
Ozzi Bloke this misinformation is 100 times worse and more harmful than the bullshit spread in this vegan video. Please stop this man, some kid reading this who doesn’t care about any long term effects of their body is gonna run a cycle and think they can eat whatever they want and grow. Associating testosterone=cholesterol is faulty. But you are faulty too discussing the effect of estrogen while completely making no differentiation between genders. So, in my opinion, if you are making a video critiquing someone else's, then make sure your video is beyond reproach and critique.
