- Adventuring across the Safari in my very own "Club" event! This event, open to all, spread across 14 stages in all weather conditions features some of the trickiest environments EA WRC has to offer and very few services. Couple that with the H2 RWD cars and its no doubt going to be a lot of fun. And so how can I stack up against everyone else competing? Can I make it to the end without major damage?

Absolutely loved this rally! Really hope you continue putting these on because the authenticity of the daily loops and the weather progression gave it all an immersion level that EAWRC often misses by a mile. Holding 4th at the moment with a stage win - we had some close stage battles in there!
All I play is rally games. I have a csl dd wheel and it took me a minute to get into this game but now I have to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT

Stumbled on your video today and hopped in and did a marathon of 11 stages. Sitting around 150th or so atm. My left shoulder is knackered tonight from one hand steering while shifting so I'll finish it tomorrow. Great rally, just trying to keep car together and not do anything too stupid. Thanks for putting it together.
I had an absolute blast doing this rally. Very challenging and immersive. I fell in love with my little Fiat 131.
Only one major incident, on the long straight at the end of long straight on the final day. Luckily only lost the driver side door, and no other damage.

Your GPLaps club in WRC 23 - Rallye in Sardegna ends in 4h45min, you don’t try it yourself until now, right? Do you try it today? It is absolutely great again, most loved Group B RWDs in Sardegna👍👌😍! I could reach P9 overall but 2 stages I still have to go now. Would love to see your try here👍!!
If you don’t have the time please please create a new Rallye in your club with the wonderful RWDs on gravel - would really love to start the next one tomorrow, perhaps in Chile, Oceania or Portugal…
Never mind the class, I personally would like to see the Group B RWDs again, a very fair competition, cause all the cars have a chance to win…

I told Hobbo88 about this and just watched him stream the entire rally on twitch. He had a ball and is looking forward to next weeks. You beat him by a minute but I suspect he’ll be closer next week, he hadn’t driven the car or any of the stages before.

Loved the rally! I did crash out on the big straight but great fun!
A small rock broke my power steering and ended my rally on the second to last stage. I think I should have softened the suspension and increased ride height bit more. Heart broken.

Blown my front left tire on first stage of leg one, manage to do the 5 first stage on three wheels and it was not that bad lol
It kicked my ass. Went through the first 7 or 8 stages no problem. Then I hit the radiator on a rock and the temps cooked the engine. By the end of stage 10 I ended up retiring because I was only able to reach 65kph and my right side steering was totally broken. Fantastic time though
Really enjoyed the stream - great stuff. And lovely to see the Avenger in there. Hillman also rallied the Hunter (I had the Corgi model with the kangaroo when I was a kid). It would be nice to see that included in one of the games.
Great result and would take it as a win for not cheating. I've heard you can just quit and rejoin and the car is fixed. I also doubt there is any benefit to manual clutching in WRC, so sequential- or even paddle-shifting seems like a big advantage. I'll probably try it as well the next days. Haven't driven an inch at Kenya yet even after 21 hours on the clock mostly in the career.
Kenya is a rough ride. It's incredible that real cars can do this

This is great 🤘. You’ve probably been asked a billion times, but what quick release are you using on the wheel?
Hard to believe the rain could be so unconvincing. Looked so amazing back in the day on Colin McRae Rally 04, but Codemasters sure didn't manage it with WRC twenty years later.
Did you get any frame rate improvements (at all) after patching?

Also... nothing makes me feel slow quite like the pace notes mentioning "small jump" and me getting no air :(
What shoes were you rocking in this?
I made it through most of the rally with my car intact, but I hit a bump the wrong way on the final 1km straightaway and lost a tire, ruined the steering and did a number on almost everything else. Limping my way through the last two stages now
I wanted to run this rally but you had numerous stages repeating 2 or 3 times. Did you just hit randomize?
I did that on purpose. Most real rallies run 'loops' each day where they repeat the same stages.
I wanted to mention something interesting that happened to me and I am not sure is intended for the event. I played the event in two sittings because I took a break for dinner. I took very minor damage in the first sitting, I don't think any mechanical though there was definitely some visual damage. I fully closed the program for my break. When I came back to the second sitting and loaded into the event again there the car was at the start of the stage like I had a completely fresh car with no visual (or mechanical) damage, and when I got to the next service stop it appeared as if I had all fresh tires again as well. I don't recall exactly which stage I finished my first sitting in and went to the bar, but I don't think it was a service stop. I wonder if anyone else had a similar experience? If I am wrong about not having any mechanical damage, and right about quitting out between service stations and getting a magic fresh car, then there's a chance I placed artificially high in the ranking compared to someone who would have done the whole of the event in one sitting. I also wonder if you blow a tire or a rad as folks have mentioned in the comments below can you just quit between the stages and come back to a fresh car instead of surviving to the next service stop as intended?
This is a bug with the game with all online events. if you exit and come back your car will be repaired. hopefully they fix it
My cars never get dirty on anything? Really weird. On PS5.
It's a shame we didn't get sleeping warrior as an African stage. The game looks good though
