Yeah, now. But when I was 14, and nuts about her, I hated him even touching her.

If it weren't for their on screen chemistry the show wouldn't have been successful. The writing wasn't exactly stellar.we all loved Marlo and Ted but some of the situations were banal

I know the show is about 'That Girl' but I can't imagine the show without 'That Boy'. While Ann is asserting her independence and following her dream in the big city, Don is right there loving and supporting her...How many men will say "have a seat and tell me all about it..." and then waits patiently while she tells everyone else. I love the two of them together but I think Ann takes Don for granted too much ❤️

AFTER SEEING THE POEM “HELPING” ON SHEL SILVERSTEIN’S BOOK “ WHERE THE SIDEWALK ENDS” (1974), I DECIDED TO PUT TOGETHER THE ALBUM CALLED “FREE TO BE…YOU AND ME”. BECAUSE I KNOW THAT POEM WAS VERY WELL KNOWN WHEN SUNG BY TOM SMOTHERS, WHO WE JUST LOST 3 WEEKS AGO..
THIS CD IS AN ALL TIME CLASSIC, MA’AM, AND I STILL REMEMBER LISTENING TO IT DURING MY YEARS AT HASTINGS SCHOOL IN WESTBORO. THEY WERE FUN TIMES FOR ME. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, MISS THOMAS.

Hello, Miss Thomas, MY NAME IS KENNETH, I took a peek at your classic comedy called “ THAT GIRL”, and you sure look wonderful with that hairstyle.
One question: Do you ALWAYS have to mess it up before the commercials, Ma’am?
A wonderful show with lots of laughs.

You can love there relationships. It was hard to be together. When they couldn't be seem together. I believe they had a thing. Except it didn't work out. IT a shame the audience didn't know

Ann Marie was the early version of Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City.

    • @randilevson9547

Ann Marie was the exact opposite of Carrie Bradshaw. Ann struggled to maintain her innocence, despite having a steady boyfriend. Carrie slept with all kinds of different men. Carrie was a successful newspaper columnist. Ann was a struggling actress. Carrie was mostly self-absorbed. Ann was always looking to help other people. A couple of things they had in common. They both lived in New York City. They both had a collection of beautiful clothes

That was the beauty of shows back then. They had such diverse characters. You could love them or hate them but each character helped to make the show.

The actor who played the dad worked with Ethel Merman on Broadway in the 1930s. Loud and brash was the style in those days.
