    Looks great! I’m currently redoing a 1996 DS. . I’m struggling with the leaf springs as well. I couldn’t tell from your video did you reinstall the original shocks which where attached to the motor mount plate? Wasn’t sure if they would work after the lift is installed.

      I put on new shocks that came with my kit.

    I have a Club Car DS that I am remodeling. Do you think spray painting the roof is a good idea as far as holding up or is it just a better idea to buy a new roof in black?

      Mine has not flaked off and looks as good as the day I sprayed it

    Is your cart 36 volts? If so does the tires and lift slow the cart down. how does it perform? Thanks for the video. I have a 94 club car 36 volt and debating putting a 3” lift and tires.

      Big tires makes it go faster top speeds but slower acceleration

    oh i see now it has heavy duty leaf springs it dont need that on front

    Just put in heavy duty leaf springs in my 1995 Club Car Ds. I loosened a bolt on a metal rod thats attached to the rear of the engine and connects to the the underplate now the rod end is higher up and I can't get the rod end down far enough to reconnect. Do you know what this rod is for and if it is necessary? I loosened it so I could get more movement and clearance so I could fit the new springs in.

      I will have to look at mine and get back to you soon. I can not really picture what you are talking about. I do not really remember having to do anything like that.

      What is your location?I am in coasral NC, So maybe I can plan a trip to pick up a mold, or maybe even a body in the future as I complete my build. Mine is a 2003 ds electric.

    does the lift kit make the club car ride worse? i was thinking the A arm would make it ride better like a atv but some say it dont work like that

    • @dmurphy68
      @dmurphy68  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It rides worse because of the heavy duty springs in the back. for what I use it for ride quality does not matter.
