    I replaced the 8 passenger villager with this 1984 club car ds. In this video we clean and paint the frame, remove the old pedal group and install the newer style pedal group that will accept the mcor. We also install the 10"+ lift kit and fit the 35" tires on! This is going to be a cool build and I cant wait to cruise it!

    One of the best videos in my opinion. But then again I'm a DS addic so needless to say I got my fix today. Ty Ryan

    If you built some brackets to drop the front mount for the rear leafs, the axle would be moved backward (centering the wheel in the wheel well) and you wouldnt have to cut the frame. It would look better too. Love the channel, keep up the good work!

    A CNC would be cool to make stuff. Custom badges and parts. I would watch woodworking/crafts videos, I always like when I’m searching how to do something and I find one of your old videos.

    Look into the Rustoleum Black Textured paint. It takes a few days to fully cure but I've used on motorcycle frames and Aluminum fencing. Much more durable than straight paint and also hides imperfections.

    Since you have such an extreme step up, to get in, how would you install an intermediate step on each side to help climb up into the cart?
    What do you think about fender flares? Is there such thing for golf carts to help cover the top pf the tires?

  • @goldenlife9856
    @goldenlife9856 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a suggestion, add a new forward spring eye for your rear leaf spring. Move it back at least a inch or two and down 4 inches. Just bolt it through the frame. It will correct the spring angle and you can cut down the shackle so it isn't so extreme.
    I still wanna figure out a air suspension that will ride like you would want a car. These things are sprung ridiculously.

      You dont like my step ladders? Thats a good idea, I will take that into consideration.

    • @goldenlife9856
      @goldenlife9856 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Fentertainment Oh, your step ladder is fine. It's just all the torque that AC motor puts out. Your ride quality would be better is the spring is more horizontally located, plus moving back more by relocating the Eyes centers your wheels and fixes the possible interference at the front....

      @@goldenlife9856 I agree, not sure how much I will need for ds springs but I could definitely work on that. I think you’re onto something.

So the other one is going to be a project with all the good gear thrown at it , the kids and grandkids can use it around the property, but i want to be able to control it , they won’t know that though.just so envious of how easy you Aquire what you want so easily.once again thanks

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@SHFlameHead1 The biggest tire the rear portion of the kit is a 23. However the front is adjustable. I could’ve ran 30s and not had to max mine out but I didn’t want 30s. I bought an Allsports 10” rear kit and added 2” blocks.
