Warriors on the road is 7-27 and counting! Just lost to the Clippers.
Jordan didn't take care of his conditioning or his body at all. He drank, he smoked and he partied. He just had such a gifted amount of athleticism/talent and work ethic/competitive drive that it didn't matter if he was tired.

@@BurntHorizon Yes and no. Showtime Lakers in the 80's were not slow but I get what you mean in terms of the overall style. I do feel the game was already changing in the 90's when you had GP and Kemp in Seattle, Iverson in Philly and Penny and Shaq in Orlando. Those guys were leading the way for a old school mixed with where the game was evolving too. Add in guys like Grant Hill, Kobe, T-Mac and such and the shift was on. Jordan would adapt to the game today. Certain players just would. Wayne Gretzky has stated he would not be as impressive in modern NHL but his Hockey IQ to see the ice would still have him adapt. I think that's how I would look at things. I do think a player like Hakeem Olajuwon would actually be more insane today
@@dannynhl9441 Olajuwon would be bonkers. Embiid on steroids regardless of what his fans say Embiid is not better than Hakeem. He's a better distance shooter but that's it.
@@dannynhl9441 Jordan would be Demar Derozen on steroids in this era but there are far better athletes in this era overall than there was in his era. So it'd balance out a little bit. People say he'd average 50 I think they are tripping. Although he did take a lot of shots lol.

@Josh Gross you act like they absolutely need Wiggins to win a road game. They couldn’t win one with him there. So they could definitely either keep losing or go on a run without him.

People forget Steph has only played 43 games this year. Wiggins has played 37. They thought Gary Payton was healthy when they traded for him. So with all that said, the Warriors are still one game back of having home court in the first round.
they knew gp2 didn’t pass his physical exam even before the trade and simply took the risk knowing his defensive assets

@Thanh Hoang I mean initially they didn't know. Once the trade was in place, they decided to pull the trigger anyways yes. However if GP2 was playing since the trade deadline, who knows what their record would be.
Lakers fan here...Until further notice the Dubs are the champs until someone beats them. No one in the west scares them. The seeding is irrelevant IMO. They have earned that respect.

Shouters will always shot the ball. However, with Poole he is not consistent. He will keep shooting endless even 0-something.
The Warriors aren't scared of anyone if anything they want the 4 seed so they can have home court and potentially play Denver in the second round. If they get that 4 seed look out. The next five games will determine how I feel about the Warriors. If they go 4-1 I'll believe, 3-2 I'll have hope, anything worse than that and they probably won't win a series if they make the playoffs at that point.
Denver is not getting out of the first round.

Looking at the west I don't see anybody who scares me as a Warriors fan other than Phoenix with Durant. Kings and Memphis are not close tho congrats for a strong regular season. Denver would be up there if they played a 50 game regular season but Jokic just fades towards the end of the season. Look at his history against GSW. He's had some statistically great games but he has never been able to run with GSW and fades heavily in the second half of games not to mention he is a complete defensive liability against them during any part of the game.
