It would have been real fun to see KD match up with Scottie's defense. I know you don't stop KD, but I think he would have some tough games in a 7-game series. Kerr is cooked guarding Steph, lol. Klay? About to be a tough bunch of games with MJ on him but the Warriors offensive setups would still provide some space to get up shots. To watch Rodman and Green battle, man that'd be fun. On the other side? I doubt anybody outscores MJ, even in those less ball dominant second 3-peat years. He'll put Klay to work down low and give him the all the tricks with the quick pullups and fades. I feel like the Bulls would have the dominant defense on the court for sure causing more turnovers. Can't argue that 3-ball when it's on tho and the Warriors were the best at that. Those nights I think they have it. Would have been hella fun to watch.
Ron Harper, who was a great defender, would mostly be guarding Curry if these teams were to play each other. Another guy who would get a lot of minutes is Toni Kukoc, and that dude could shoot lights out at 6’10”. This would be such a great match-up, but I’d put my money on the Bulls based on far superior defense and physical toughness, Rodman’s rebounding, and Jordan.

There's no one who has no ego, it's part of being a human being. And I agree with you that anyone who reaches a superstar level has to have an ego, in the uber self-confidence sense, to get there. But I don't agree that Steph is about numbers. The guy wants to win, period. If that weren't true and he was just about his own numbers, there is no way he would have not only been ok with KD coming aboard, but being part of the recruiting effort, and making the adjustments he made. As well as sharing the ball and the limelight with Klay all these years, which obviously went "fairly" well. And as for him not being genuine and humble, if you don't believe those things about him, you're disagreeing with every teammate who ever talked about him in an interview as well as his coach. I submit they know him better than you, me, or anyone who hasn't personally been his teammate or coach...if they say he's genuine and humble (as well as uber-competitive, they all say that too), I'm going to believe they know what they're talking about.
I don't think Livingston meant Curry has no ego, but that he doesn't go around with the "I am THE MAN" attitude, asserting his stature, being intimidating on purpose. He knows he's great, strives to be great, but still behaves like a regular person, relatable and unassuming. On the Poole incident, I would say Curry being PO'd at that moment was not just about that moment, it was about Poole having gotten a little (or more than a little) full of himself and not playing within the normal GSW flow. The young man played really well for them the previous year but seemed to come into the 22-23 season with an "I'm a big deal now" attitude, rather than realizing that yes I made a significant contribution last year, and yes that was to my credit, but also I had a tremendous group of veterans who set the tone and helped make it possible. I'm still the young guy just starting to make my mark, Steph, Klay, and Draymond are the 4x champions, the core, it's their team. Seemed he forgot to remember that and got things out of whack.
That's not a winning attitude, and if as it seemed he thought "I'm the guy who should take this shot even though the greatest shooter who's ever played, as well as the PG/leader of the team, is right over there calling for the ball"...Nobody on GSW should have been ok with that, not Curry, not Klay, not Green, not Kerr. Whether Curry should have thrown his mouthpiece is another thing, but to me it's very understandable how he would have been frustrated enough to do so. (Contrast Poole deciding he should shoot rather than Curry with the end of the gold medal game, when both LeBron(!) and KD(!) could have taken the shot but passed the ball back to (the red-hot) Curry, who buried the dagger.)

They don't play defense in this era and that's what would seperate the Bulls from GSW. Steph and Klay would automatically get shut down by anyone of those 3 guys which would leave K.D. but K.D. wouldn't be able to do half the stuff he does now and Draymond definitely ain't no match for Rodman at all. It would nice to see that match up but my money is on The Bulls all day and I aint even mention when the Bulls are on offense. But never forget defense wins games
