I appreciate you addressing this. I first learned about attachment styles a little over a year ago and it was a major aha moment. No wonder my 25 year marriage had been so painful even though we were both good people. (Anxious/avoidant) Learning this information as a teenager would have been so helpful. On a parenting note I became an entirely different parent when I left the church - I was warm and friendly before but had major expectations for perfect church standard behavior - after I left I just loved my kids the way they were and it gave everyone permission to make mistakes and be themselves. Game changer for all of us!

Thanks for this deep dive. I was curious about the subject of attachment styles but didn't know where to start. Good explanations!

Your funny at least, We will take a simple little verse and show you why it is not addressed to the natural man, Ecclesiastes 3:15: “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away.” The “natural man” cannot grasp that, for to him reality is based only on the evidence of the senses. The man of reason could justify the verse’s end, saying if it has any meaning then the writer must mean recurrence. The sun comes every day and the moon completes its cycle and the seasons come and go. If we took a picture of the universe today, the scientists can compute how long it will take to return to this point in the picture. So the intellectual man could justify the verse; but that is not what is meant, for it is addressed not to the man of reason or the man of sense, but to the man of Imagination. What is it all about? “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been, and God seeks what has been driven away.”

Silliest idea shared--that you're privileged because you were first-born. Perhaps the traits you listed as advantages of being first-born are not the advantages you think they are. Also, really, who cares where you are on Maslow's scale? It's just a scale, not reality.

None of Bible stories History, same mind does all good and evil till they WAKE from Flesh. Science, Stars, Religions can save Flesh but never WAKE you, you the ONLY ONE can, no one else can, your Flesh called dark is wrestling with SPIRIT Light, both in you never outside you.
Paul taught milk Flesh and meat Spirit, 2Cor 13:5Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 6But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.
    What does Flesh NOT SEE?
Luke 17:20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Your still asleep which means christ in you is still asleep and worried about Flesh.
