As you mentioned in the video, an additional guard will spawn if you _kill_ at least one guard in the PEOC. However, you did not mention that if you _dominate_ a guard, an additional one will not come. That leads to the following: 1. If you have only 3 pagers left when you get to the PEOC, you can try to dominate every guard in the room, which can be a tricky if you play solo. But if you still want to try it, my proposed strategy is: dominate the guard closest to the entrance when he is on the staircase. After that, dominate another guard when the third one is not looking and start answering ASAP. If you're lucky, the third guard will not even see you answering. If he does, you should still have enough time to deal with the pager. Let the guard come close to you, and punch him with a *non-lethal* melee weapon (like the weapon butt) and dominate him (injured enemies have 100% chance to concede). I have not tried this, but it should work just fine. 2. If you used 3 pagers in the West Wing, as I mentioned, you can dominate the guard closest to the entrance when he is on the staircase, leaving you only 2 guards to deal with instead of 3.
Wait REALLY? That is HUGE if that's the case! Generally, the extra guard spawns are scripted to happen when a guard is dead _or dominated,_ (or even earlier, when they become alerted) to avoid this kind of "loophole", so I always assumed that an extra guard would spawn as well even if you chose to dominate them. As you mention, considering one of the guards can be isolated from the other two, and the other two can easily be dominated (especially if you bring a non-lethal melee weapon), this is definitely a very viable strategy. As soon as I have time tomorrow, I'll check it out to make sure that it indeed works, and if that is indeed correct, I'll pin your message here so that more players can know about this! Thank you for the comment Adil!
@@Marcmb Hey Marcmb, thanks for a quick feedback and your dedication to the PAYDAY community, you really make effort to answer every single comment on every single video, which really is a lot! Keep doing what you are doing, your videos are really informative and easy to understand. Indeed, as it turns out my strategy works very well, just got to be quick enough not to get handcuffed :D
@@alreadydeveloper Absolutely, you're welcome! I have a lot of fun reading all the comments, because seeing all the very nice feedback, the doubts from some players who want to know more, and sometimes comments that teach me things I didn't even know -- all of that is great! Plus sharing my content wouldn't be nearly as entertaining without the comments that I get from the community. Thank you for the very kind feedback! I'll do my best to keep it up :) And yeah getting handcuffed would definitely be a risk with this strategy, that's true! But they are generally so slow, that I would consider it a very rare possibility: if the guard is close enough to spot you as soon as you start answering the pager, you could just dominate him before starting to answer your current pager! So the risk of failure is very low, I would say :) Nothing wrong with this approach!
Hey Adil! Very sorry for the very delayed response. I'm always very busy with my job and my weekly video recording/editing, so I never had a chance to try this out. I've had a lot more free time during these holidays, so I've been going through my TO-DO list, and indeed, just like you said, the extra guard does not spawn if you dominate all 3! Huge tip that I never knew, so I'm pinning your comment to spread the knowledge to more players! :D Killing them at any point after the pagers have been answered still triggers the extra guard as usual (I tried waiting 30 minutes and then killing one of the three dominated guards, which triggered the extra guard), so it's indeed just a simple check for dead guards :)
This is actually really helpful, whitehouse is one of the heists that you can never get the hang of, but now it’s gonna be another on the list of easy stealth
Hey Blonde, thank you! I think the main difficulties are the first part (where the tight corners make it very common for guards to bump into you) and the West Wing, which becomes very easy with the trip mines. We'll definitely be playing a lot more White House in our evening public lobbies, I hope you'll enjoy it! :)
@@mauer1 That's true! Four heisters masked up will probably be even harder than solo, because you don't get that many benefits, and it's more likely that someone will be spotted. However, it's a very fun heist to play as a civilian, marking all guards to ensure that all 4 are marked while looking for the wire boxes, and also in the West Wing keeping the 3 guards marked when they are not marked by a trip mine :) Then the heist does become much easier with more players! :D
You have just disclosed to us how to break into the White House. Hope the FBI don't see this, or you'll be banned from content creation for a LONG time! :D
The secret service actually at least used to contact videogame developers who were making white house levels and "ask" them to mix up the layout and avoid being accurate. IoI got such a call/visit when they were making Hitman: Blood Money (though in their case they were literally making an "Assassinate the VP" scenario). They wound up scrambling most of the rooms and reimagining the east wing and central buildings. The White House in Payday 2 is disconcertingly accurate by comparison, though a lot of it's still off.
@@discendovox Ooh that's very interesting! I'm glad Overkill were allowed to keep the White House like this, it looks stunning from outside and also beautiful from inside! Definitely a very nice heist visually :)
@Marcmb Trump will use this to get back inside after 20th January! XD Very nice guide. Perfectly edited. I always had trouble with the P.E.O.C. Thank you!
Just a small note on the P.E.O.C bit of White House that I noticed with a friend, quite unfortunately. When the additional guard spawns in after you kill one of the patrolling, he comes in from a spawn area that cannot be reached, so DO NOT KILL HIM IMMEDIATELY, especially with a shotgun.. Best to wait a bit like Marc did. Fantastic video yet again!
Ah yes, that's a very important aspect to keep in mind in this heist! Many of the invisible walls that prevent the player from walking through also block the pager interaction, so make sure that you're only killing guards in places that you can physically walk through! Or you won't be able to answer their pager even if the corpse is right next to you!! Very important in this heist because walls with this kind of behavior are quite common in the PEOC, the West Wing... Glad that you liked the video Sam, much appreciated! :)
Appreciate the appreciation! Thank you for the reply, and a big commendation for replying to every single comment! Your dedication to this channel and it's community absolutely deserves more praise and viewership (but I suppose at that point it'd be tricky to keep up with comments). Hope you're having a good weekend!
@@sammcd9732 You're welcome! The best part of this TH-cam channel is that I'm able to teach everything I know about stealth to a lot of different heisters, so answering to the questions and the feedback is definitely part of the fun! Although it would indeed become tricky with more viewers haha! My weekend has been great so far! You have a good rest of your weekend too! :)
There's another possible event during the 3 mainframe hacks, I found: the mainframe can bluescreen, requiring an interaction to progress - the mainframe then restarts just like in the firmware update event
Hey Luke! You're absolutely right, I can't believe I missed that! I had screenshots for all the events too, because I wanted to show each one with an example, but I simplified the idea (just mentioning them with a general description, to keep it short) and I guess I forgot about that one! Luckily, the one I forgot to mention is the most self-explanatory one, because there's no way to avoid it so whenever it happens to someone they will just have to follow Locke's instructions, and it's very clear why the computer is stopping, and in general very straightforward. Thank you for making the guide more complete through the comments! :)
Hey Dawid! Good to know that there's some interest in that :) I couldn't add it to this video because it was quite long already, but the whole Secret thing is very interesting, so I would definitely like to do some content about it in the future!
@@dreamer1206 It chugs a lot that's true :( Although maybe part of the reason, is because the map became so huge when they added The Secret, that optimization became trickier... Personally I don't mind the performance drops because the heist is quite fun, but it would indeed be nice if it could run flawlessly! :) Also, it's quite fitting for The Secret to be here, and it definitely looks great when you see it for the first time!! (no spoilers though, I wouldn't want to spoil it to anyone :p)
@@Marcmb if u make a Video of the ending maybe add that there is a bug. The bug is that if you pull the Lever you use to say the Question + Answer is right (front left) and then nothing will happon. I played the ending about 11 times. The last time i played it the bug happen. I dont know if its because one of us where in prison, because the bug never happen to me but that 1 time one us where in Prison, because if someone watch your video and then he gets the same bug on his first try he will be so confused.
Just a small notice, if you get spotted while leaving the peoc it's no big deal because as long as the alarm is not sounded (you can use ecm or don't kill the guards to avoid pagers) everything is reset when you unmask, so just run with an ecm and as soon as you unmask the guards in the peoc just forget about you! (This heist just pisses me off because of the boys randomly alerting the guards and the insta detection at the beginning sometimes...)
Hey Léonard! A couple other players also mentioned this, and I had no idea! To be honest, I had never checked because I always go for the stealthy West Wing approach and then completely clear the PEOC. I always assumed there would be some kind of check before despawning the guards, to prevent alerted or dead guards from being despawned, but it turns out that this check only applies if the guards are dead -- so uncool but alive guards are fine, and dominated guards are fine too. Kinda seems like an oversight, but it's very good to know, for sure!! Also, regarding the bots randomly alerting the Murkies sometimes, I've been reading about it, and most players agree that it's caused by a mod like "Iter", "Better bots", or "Keepers". *Are you by any chance using one of these 3 mods, or a similar one?* I'm trying to ask different players in the comments section, to hopefully come up with a solution :)
I love how there's exact moment of failing "perfect" stealth: 4/4 pagers You start escaping from PEOC You by bad luck get detected You put ECM Jammer so Pager wont go off (because you killed/dominated him) Guard despawns His pager doesn't It's already too late for anything, since doors to PEOC closed. You can either die to some random dozer, or someone from your team just wont get in escape zone Jesus I love this heist. Such cool idea but shitty execution of it: Bad performance Bad luck=Restart (in most of the cases because cameras are shit, guard sees you making chain reaction, while hacking mainframe phone goes off, and every possible guard just stands near it, or other) Ending of this heist. If you panic too much then GG you're dead. But again, just like in shadow raid. Thanks for guide. Helped me a lot learning about this heist.
Indeed, it's always sad when the pager goes off when you can no longer do anything about it, and you see it slowly counting down to your demise :p Glad you enjoyed the guide, and good to know it helped out! If it makes you feel any better about the heist: once you get used to the dangerous blind corners, there's not much luck involved in it (especially if you use trip mines for the part you consider more dangerous), and the phone lasts for a whole 60s, so only in very rare cases the guard patrols prevent you from answering it... but there are definitely some unforgiving situations in the heist, for sure!
Amazing guide! I tend to always play loud and i'm currently trying to get the death sentence mask, but I wanted to come back to my roots of stealthing like I did in early infamy levels, and get every stealth possible heist. This is an amazing guide for a heist I was too lazy to learn. Thank you!
Hey Juan! Stealthing is a very unique experience, so even though loud heists are very enjoyable, I definitely recommend trying them in stealth every now and then! Especially if you were already a stealth player back in your early infamies :p I'm glad to hear that the guide will be helpful, thank you and good luck with your heist! :)
Hey Fat CJ, thank you very much! Glad the guide was helpful :) Less than 20 attempts for one of the final stealth heists isn't bad at all! And after completing it once, you can probably beat it in just one next time, well done!!
@@fatcj5169 That's completely understandable! It's the section with the most tight corners, and 4 guards that with good RNG will never run into you, but other times they will be turning the worst possible corner at the worst possible time. So having them all marked while going for the wires helps a lot to complete that part more reliably! The West Wing (with the trip mine placements) and the PEOC (clearing the place completely) are much easier compared to the beginning :)
I had a bug at the end of the heist, when I had to leave, I got spotted when I had 4 pagers and I killed everybody and ran to the door before the pager sounded the alarm and when the transition of getting off the mask, when you have to scape, the alarm didn’t sound and I escaped with 4 pagers and the mission count as if I had done it in stealth. Maybe was a bug or that’s another way to do the mission if you fail the end and don’t want to reset all the mission hahaha
Hey GOLDspartan! That's very interesting. I never thought about testing this, because I usually go for the strategy of saving 4 pagers for the PEOC and just clearing the entire area. Someone else mentioned something very similar earlier, so I'm definitely gonna do some tests regarding this tonight!!
i had made a video similar to this when i got a run with all 3 stealthable achievements back in May(souvenir, fully stealth with no cameras broken, wearing a president mask) where i gave my opinion on how the heist is split into different sections and which ones are more difficult, also explaining how to easily go through the PEOC by showing the guard paths. im glad there are more people that like this heist, it's a really fun stealth level.
Hey ent! Nice to see you in the comments again :p I didn't check the achievements for the White House, but I can definitely see how that's a good opportunity to clear the heist with all achievements, that was a good idea! We definitely agree on the heist being split into different sections, with some being more difficult than others :) I think, depending on playstyle, some heisters will decide to kill all the guards in the West Wing to breeze through that section and take their time in the P.E.O.C., while others will avoid the guards in the West Wing and completely clear the P.E.O.C. It's definitely a great stealth heist, for sure! :D
Wow man, I could never stealth this.. another easy stealth in my list! I cannot thank you enough for how much time you put into your videos to explain everything, and how kind you are and reply to everyone. Have a good weekend!
I DID IT!, I got the achievement! I guess it was true, you can only fail at the start. I killed 1 guard in west, but then after placing trip mines like yours, I had no problem! In the vault zone I killed 3 guards ( the one that spawned too) and left the further guard that patrols the pcs downstairs. Didn’t get the phone call, but I did it! Thank you!!!! 🙏
It took me some tries but I only failed at the very very start, and once on the west wing cause I just looked away from my screen while walking into a guard lol.
That's awesome, FaDon! Very happy to hear that my guide has made the heist easier for you, and that you've managed to complete it following my tips! Indeed, my strategy is based in getting through the first objective carefully, and then having almost guaranteed success on the West Wing and PEOC. Glad that worked for you too, very smart to leave the farthest guard alive :) Glad that you're enjoying the content and my style of editing/guide-making, and congratulations on your White House completion! :D
Hey Squwancher! I appreciate that a lot, thank you very much! I'll definitely keep posting, and do my best to keep the quality up! :D I hope you'll enjoy the new content :)

@@hempfiend6796 Awesome! Thank you so much for that Squwancher, I really appreciate it! :D It's very good to know that the content can be entertaining even if you don't have access to the heists :) For the next video, I'll make sure to pick a heist that's also available for console players, so that we can all enjoy it more! :D
You make it look easy, but this is honestly one of the more boring heists in general. Just kinda fell into that generic formula of 'group of rooms linked to other rooms by corridors, each new group of rooms has 3/4 guards each' type of deal. Still, this is incredibly helpful for anyone still looking to get through this, as it's tough without knowing a lot of the permutations (or that nastiness with pagers and guard/s in the PEOC)
Hey Allan! Thank you for the kind feedback about the guide :) In my personal opinion, I like the fact the heist is designed with three sections (each with similar guard distributions), giving you a clear opportunity to be extra careful in one section; dump all your resources in another one to make it slightly easier; and completely clear the third one. What makes this general choice even better is that you are completely free to decide which part gets which treatment. One good stealth heist in my personal opinion! But I can see how there are other heists that are considered more dynamic, or more condensed into a single "building" rather than having many separate phases, and it's definitely a very different style!
Hey Enio! The objectives are quite similar, that's true :p At least when they made San Martín Bank, they used a new way to "code" the wire boxes (numbers tied to colors, rather than colors directly), so it felt unique in its own way! :D And yeah, my arm is completely clipping through the Murky uniform :( I hope they will fix that soon in the next updates!
I don't know if I've gathered enough experience with stealth run or the white house got easier. I completed it for the first time today in the first try. even thou I still some how got a lot of confusing when finding the USB stick. But still, I got it. Ty Marcmb, since I've completed all the stealth heist in your list, I may working further on loud playing style. Still, big thanks you for everything you've done for the Payday 2 community, also for every single trick you've taught me along the way. Me and my friends called you "Mr. Manipulation" for all the tricks you did the to the A.I. Still, appreciated your time you put into the game, just so players like me can followed up. Thanks you~!
Haha nice! Glad you've been enjoying the AI tricks, and congrats on the big stealth progress! Many others still struggle with White House :p Good luck with the loud heists too! Those are very different, but still fun.
Excellent writeup. In my successful runs I actually burn one or two pagers in the oval office area (or in the initial area if I get screwed by the blind corners) and take advantage of the guard zoning you mention in the PEOC. The guard patrolling the far end of the room is virtually a nonissue, so you can nail the guard patrolling the hack and the check-in guard (who can path anywhere, I think) and create a smaller safe zone where most of the tasks are.
Thanks a lot for the kind feedback Discendo, much appreciated! :) That's actually very smart -- I didn't mention in the guide what to do in situations where you have to spend some pagers that you didn't plan on using, but that's definitely a very efficient way to use your available pagers! Ignore the guard patrolling the far end, and kill the ones who are most likely to get in your way. Definitely the way to go! Also, you may be right about the check-in guard being able to path anywhere -- I've definitely seen him patrolling upstairs, although I usually just kill him because I save 4 pagers for the PEOC, so I'm not an expert on his movements!
Thank you Bluee Zenith, I appreciate that a lot! :D And I will do my best to keep it up :) The White House ECM rush has been in my mind lately, while recording all the clips for this video. It definitely seems possible, and it should be fun to do!
I always learn new things from your videos I might add a little info, if you allerted the guards at the PEOC, if you have enough ecm jammers you can let them live (dont dominate or kill), just put one ecm (or pocket ecm) and run up the stairs to unmasked, the allerted red symbol will dissapear once we unmasked, not sure bout Alesso heist tho Keep up the good work 👍
Hey ARIF, I'm glad I can teach you some small things about the different heists, good to know! Someone else mentioned this same thing about the guards, and I actually had no idea -- I had never noticed, because I always kill the 4 guards at the PEOC area. I knew that dominated guards would despawn when going through the airlock, but I always assumed there would be some measures in place to avoid the same thing happening to alerted guards/unanswered pagers. As for the Alesso Heist, interestingly it's actually the opposite there: if the guards are alive, they will not despawn when you unmask, but if they are dead or dominated, they despawn along with the pager, so rushing the escape (if needed) is very easy :)
Ouhh, cant work with Alesso heist, Thx man You channel mostly featured guides for stealthing, when you're gonna touch a bit for the loud heist, I always want the best method to do goat sim day 2 😁😁😁
@@AREPBOSS Good question! I play stealth almost exclusively because I enjoy it a lot more, so that's why my content focuses on that essentially. However, I did learn a few important things about loud heists while getting my DSOD mask, so I may make some loud videos in the future! I'll definitely prioritize stealth content though, to ensure that the content can be as high quality as possible, so loud videos are not planned until the far future! :p
Awesome! Perfect timing then :D I tried to cover all the important things about each of the sections, so this should be a very good introduction to the heist. Good luck with your attempts, Shok! Obviously, if you need further details regarding anything in this guide, feel free to ask!
@@Marcmb I somehow managed to do it first try! I had no idea that only one guard spawns in the P.E.O.C and because I managed to avoid every guard pre-P.E.O.C, I took down all of them and easily completed rest of the objectives. I think it became one of my favorite stealth heists! Thanks for the guide Marcmb!
@@shokanshok3198 Awesome, good job! That's definitely the strategy that I prefer: avoid using any pagers before the PEOC, so that you can kill every guard in the final area, and have a guaranteed success! Congratulations, and I'm glad that the guide was helpful, thank you! :)
It seems that passing the airlock would despawn all guards in the previous section. So in theory at the last of the video, you could probably use the 2 pocket ECMs and run to the airlock after getting detected. Also it makes it plausible to ECM rush the west wing part then run through the airlock while still having 4 pagers to deal with the PEOC (I haven't tried this with 4 people but did once getting a guard into uncool status yet successfully run into the airlock after finishing the west wing objectives).
Hey bruce li! ECM rushing the West Wing part without killing anyone sounds like a really fun idea, I'll have to try it out one of these days :p I knew that the guards despawned when going through the airlock (I generally dominate one of them when clearing the PEOC, and he despawns when I go through the airlock), but I always assumed the game would not despawn them if they were alerted or killed. Thanks for the information! I definitely could have saved the run in that last clip then! Although I was just throwing to show the example of course, I'm not very familiar with that particular situation because I always go for the approach of clearing the entire PEOC :p
@@Marcmb Just did some more experiments and here are some additionalfindings: 1. While guards are despawned passing the airlock, merkies outside are not, meaning players cannot let them hear gunshots and become uncool. 2. Uncool and dominated guards are despawned but corpses are not and will trigger pager response So it seems that players will need pager blocking ECMs to rush the west wing while dominating encountered guards in order to avoid gunshots and ensure guards are despawned "properly".
@@MrKkspeed Hey bruce, thanks for all this detailed information! I was gonna do these tests myself, but this saves me a lot of time! :D (1) Murkies are indeed the exception -- you can notice this because if you reach The Secret in stealth, when you activate it, the only exclamation points (!) are the Murkies outside, which I guess never despawn. Plus they are also during the regular escape sequence. (2) This one is VERY interesting! I knew that dominated guards would despawn if you answered their pager, but I didn't know they would despawn too even if the pager isn't answered! Seems like an oversight, considering that corpses DO trigger their pager after despawning, but it's very useful to know, thanks!! This should make the ECM rush very easy, even though I'm not sure if it's possible while playing solo, the timing would be quite tight :p
Hahaha! I've never known what it really is. I guess it does look like a dining room (with the big table in the middle), but I never knew what it actually is, so I just call it the big room hahah :D
As for the second strategy, when leaving the P.E.O.C., if you get spotted, just use an ECM and leave the area without killing/intimidating guards. This way, the alarm won't go off. But if you kill/intimidate guards, as soon as the ECM finishes, their pagers will trigger even if you leave.
Very true! I always go for the "full PEOC clear" strategy, so I never knew about this one until someone mentioned it in the comments :p Although, if I remember properly, dominated guards are also despawned when going through the airlock (dead guards being the only exception) -- it's been a few months since I tested those things though, and since then I've gone back to the "full PEOC clear" approach :p
@@MIHUKI5 Next time I check it out, I'll make sure to write it down, and eventually make a video about it, to have a consistent place to look for that information :p It's a bit hard to remember, because there are other heists with similar despawn mechanics, like Alesso Heist, which have the exact opposite behavior -- alerted guards that are left alive will not despawn (and they will then sound the alarm), but those who are killed or dominated will despawn even if they had an unanswered pager.
Good stuff, forever ago i falsely read that if you killed guards in the PEOC they'd just keep spawning inifinitely, so i always used the "alternate" approach as you showed in the vid. I didn't know it was only one extra guard, and now I'm much more interested in playing white house again. It sucked going all the way to PEOC and getting caught with a bad phone location. Also the camera guard is in one of the side rooms of the West wing, so with the Alternate approach, that's what I typically used pager #4 on to make killing the other 3 guards anywhere easier.
Thank you BSWMagic Gaming, glad you liked the content! :D I also read another comment mentioning the same thing about PEOC guards respawning, so it must have been quite widespread back then! When going for the alternative approach, I usually skip looking for the camera guard just for the time save haha, I kill the guards wherever they are, trying to boost them to a convenient position, and if I need to loop a camera to answer their pager I pocket ECM to give myself time to loop the camera! :) But since you have 1 pager left in that situation, it's definitely a good idea to kill the camera operator too if you don't mind looking for him!
This is a super helpful video, and i love it, but the very end of it, cause i know the story of PD2, when bain starts talking, im in tears, and i know, its just a some guy from some game, but still, he is the one, who done most of a part.
Thank you very much, Frudik! Happy to know that the video is helpful, and I agree -- the original ending of PAYDAY 2 is quite sad, seeing Bain go because after all you do you can't save him :( Luckily, the Secret Ending is a bit more positive, and makes up for it in a few ways! No spoilers though :p
Not sure about this, haven't tested it, but Brooklyn 10-10 only goes loud when 'suspicious activity alerted the police' so maybe it's able to be stealthed like green bridge? just an idea, keep up the good stealth content ;) p.s. also you can ecm rush the peoc section and after leaving the peoc the alerted guards are unable to set off the alarm so I prefer the alternative method shown then ecm rushing the last bit
Hey Daedrolis! That sounds like a very good idea, thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into it and check if the initial assault can be delayed. Glad that you're enjoying the stealth content! :) Also, regarding your suggested strategy for the PEOC, I guess you mean when playing with a crew? That definitely sounds like a very nice plan when you have 4 players and everyone knows what they are doing!
I remeber my first time doing this at dsod i were in P.E.O.C. i had 3 pagers and one body bag whaen i have answered all pagers i thought that i have won the game but i didnt know about fourth guard. He has spotted one body. I havent played that heist, but when you have donw the guide i have done it thanks mate!
Awesome! Happy to hear that my guide helped, that's great! :D The fourth guard can indeed be unexpected when you get there for the first time. Turns out (as *Adil Minassipov* mentioned in the pinned comment), that if you dominate the 3 guards (without killing any of them), the bonus guard does not spawn!! So if you have 3 pagers, that's really good :D
Thank you Kuro! I'm glad that you're enjoying them: they are really fun to make, especially going in-depth into many different aspects! (even if it takes quite a while to record all the different clips haha) Good luck with this one! I'm sure you will soon be able to master everything that I mentioned, and I'm very happy that it's helping! :D
@@Marcmb I'll have to wait a hot minute before I can actually give this one a try, since I just did an Infamny... :P Honestly, the fact you go super in-depth to all the various aspects is what makes these guides so great. You even provide paths that we can adapt to our preferences along with alternative methods of completing parts of the heist. I imagine it can take quite some time to record all of those clips, I really hope you're using a mod that enables you to record these location clips without the pesky guards bothering you! lol I look forward to the next heist in this series :)
@@MushokuThing Haha yeah, definitely get some levels first! No-skills challenges are fun, but I would only consider them after having completed the heist a few times :p I'm glad that the in-depth details are appreciated -- if you run into any troubles while running the heist yourself, as usual, don't hesitate to ask! Oh and regarding the guards, I considered it for sure! But most mods to do that are cheats, so my only option was to record different runs, where I cleared different areas using the 4 available pagers and I hid the bodies so that they wouldn't be shown on camera hahaha :D Thank you for your support, and hopefully the next video can be good too! :)
@@Marcmb With the mods, from my understanding as long as you're in a private lobby game experiencing altering mods are fine. So it would be plausible to run something like Silent Assassin so you have near unlimited pagers. I can understand your concern against running something like that though, especially if you accidentally leave it on D:
@@MushokuThing Yeah I considered that! It seemed like a decent tool to clear the area just to record some specific clips, like the first one with the wire box spawns. However, it was just for a very small convenience, and I didn't want to run the risk of perhaps having some leftover files after uninstalling it, so I decided to go with the vanilla options even if it was a bit limited :p
I just realized that when we look at the picture under it, we can find out there is a safe or not(except for tall one)! Finding these things are reasons I still enjoy this game :)
Ooh, very interesting, Jang! I usually just check all the paintings in order, but that would make a lot of sense. I'll have to check it out next time I play the heist! :D
Hey James! Perfect timing it seems :p The heist is much easier than it seems at first, so don't worry! The West Wing part becomes really easy with the use of trip mines, so the main difficulty will be the start, especially with all the tight corners. Until you get used to it, take your time there, and have the 4 guards constantly marked. Also, feel free to even use some trip mines there! You should have 5 or 6 to spare that you're not using anywhere, so place some in the doorways if you're spending more time there :)
Thank you Mot! I don't think I've ever seen the WR runs for this heist, but I can't imagine any crazy optimizations other than just modifying the RNG for the shortest possible paths, and the luckiest bookshelf check :D If you're interested in quickly getting a free WR, I would assume that going in straight through the front entrance by using the extra-silent saw to go directly to the RFID probably saves you a few seconds! :p
Hey El Gran Padre! I'm glad that the video taught you some things, and congratulations on stealthing the heist! :) Big Bank video sometime in the future, for sure!
Thank you Red! I appreciate that a lot :D Next time we play, feel free to request The White House if you want! I always prefer going with lobby suggestions rather than hosting the first random heist that I see :)
I would love to see the secret ending tutorial if you ever decide to make the tutorial about it. I imagine others would like it too. Though you should definetely mention that it's complicated and takes a lot of time to do.
Thanks Mart! This video is quite old by now, so the planned Secret video got delayed a lot because my content evolved a lot in the direction of ECM Rushing, XP Farming, in-depth stealth... However, I do still have plans to make a video about it! Someday for sure :D
For me, i usually kill 2 guards at west wings and 2 guards for P.E.O.C to make it little bit easier when doing USB objective and also for Computer hack objective (for me at least) . I know it sucks so bad but that's my way to finish the heist. Great tips anyway 👍
Hey Cerivicio! I definitely would do that as a plan B strategy, i.e., if I get spotted and waste 2 pagers on the West Wing, I would probably go for your approach. Glad you found the tips useful, thank you! :)
@@Marcmb hey marcmb, thanks for your reply. Although at some point you called it plan B, I'd called it a "balancing plan" Cause you know... To keep it balance as all thing should be. Anyway here's your +1 sub from me you deserved it for made my stealth career go further more than before
@@cerivicio3526 It's definitely more balanced, yeah! I personally consider it a "plan B" (or secondary option) because, if I'm able to sneak past the West Wing using only 1 or 0 pagers, I'll definitely use all of them on the PEOC to make that part easier. Just personal preference :) And thank you for considering subscribing! Glad my content is helping you a bit, and hopefully you'll enjoy the upcoming projects! :D
Thank you kermit! Glad you liked this one too, much appreciated! :) It seems like there is definitely interest in videos related to The Secret, so I'm definitely adding this to the list of projects! Thank you for your feedback! :D
If i can add just one thing, if you're already at 4 pagers used, but alerted a guard while escaping the PEOC, a ECM rush can save the situation. Event if they are alerted, as long as the alarm do not goes before the exit, it won't be after taking off the masks.
Hey Killian! That sounds very interesting, I have never had a chance to try it because I generally clear the P.E.O.C., and when I don't, I'm always extra careful, so I just assumed it wasn't possible. So what you're saying is that, if you get to the airlock with some alerted guards in the PEOC, they despawn during the airlock sequence? What happens if they are dead, and their pagers are being delayed by an ECM? I'll definitely be checking this out later today, thank you!! :D
@@Marcmb So, I tried again, and I confirm that alert guards will disappeared once the airlock passed However, a delayed pager will activate once the ECM is finished. So better put one down and run without killing anyone.
@@Krys_Whuuthrass Hey Killian! I was gonna check these things tonight, but I see that you already checked! That's very good to know, thank you! I'll definitely be testing some strategies where I kill all the guards in the West Wing, and then also rush the PEOC part! I'll have to see how feasible it is, and what the limitations are :p
@@SymphonisXD Thank you Symphonis! I'm glad that you're enjoying this series of videos :) Feel free to share the strategy, and convert your friends to this strategy, so that you will all agree on where to use the pagers :p it gets a bit messy otherwise, using pagers in all sections! Also, it definitely seems like many viewers are interested in videos about The Secret, so I'll be working on that in the near future! Looking forward to it :D
For those reading this comment who are curious about secret here's a brief tutorial: step 0: in order to start the secret you have to have completed: Henry's Rock, Breakin' Feds, Brooklyn Bank (BB has to be on OVK or above, every other heist can be done on lower difficulties) and Shacklethorne Auction. You also have to have Scarface's room in the safehouse maxed out. Then make sure all trophies are on display Step 1: take the medallion from BB over to to the boxes you got from the other heists, open them up, and assemble the contents along with the tablet from SA Step 2: go over to Scarface's room and play a specific song on the piano (just look up a better guide to find the song you have to play, besides you'll have to later anyways for reasons) Step 3: Interact with the newly activated mechanism where you assembled the parts and interact with it, this will display 20 messages in whole and it does loop *TAKE SCREENSHOTS OF ALL OF THEM* , these messages are associated with achievements in the game, so you can have a decent amount already done before starting. (These messages are randomized and it is read right to left) Then translate them with online resources and find the associated achievements Step 3.5: if you feel like cheating a little, there are mods that help skip or ease this first translating phase, but you still gotta do the second one Step 4: complete all of the achievements you need to do, a decent amount are in DLCs though, so keep that aware if you don't have all the DLCs, but not Silk Road DLCs from my experience Step 5: once all the achievements are done hop into the White House heist on OVK or above and go to the PEOC, you can do it quiet or loud up to the painting, but blasting through the wall will be loud af, but going in quiet does preserve ammo you'll be needing (I'd recommend bringing something that's automatic and not too accurate, but with good stability and something that doesn't go through ammo too quick or has ammo that can be picked back up) Step 6: take the lift down and get ready, if you have AI's to work with then set 2 of them to hole up, and the third mobile to revive you if you get downed by the enemies that will spawn in this area. Also pull up a completely different image from the one you prolly used to translate before and use one specific to the wheel (I used this one steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1557217006 (y'all every just link a better tutorial in the middle of a tutorial) along with an image that had all the possible solutions on it, but i can't find it again. I guess that you could download another mod or just use the previous guide to assist translation) Step 7: translate the big boi wheel 4 times in a row while dealing with ghost cloakers, front left lever is input solution, back right rotates middle, front right rotates interior ring and middle, back left right rotates outer ring and middle, and make sure to double check before inputting each since if you screw up that's a full reset, and make sure to reload before inputting the last one Step 8: walk inside the vault and wait for the dentist to arrive with Bain and Locke, then get ready since if you screw up this next bit you have to reset the White House heist and the entire second translation, aim a bit to the right of the middle of the door (if i remember correctly) at head level and then... Step 9: When the door opens, ruin the dentist's teeth by filling them with lead (this is why i recommended an automatic, inaccurate gun), and then wait for Bain and Locke to get to the big device in the middle of the room (also if i remember correctly you gotta move some gold too) Step 10: when Bane and Lock get to the middle of the vault and then grab gold from a bag and move it to a bunch of slots along the platform you're on, there is a timer but it's pretty lenient, atleast for one person. Once all the gold is in position, you're done. The heist should end in a bright flash of light. -Step 11: when the bright flash fades from your screen you should end up in a cart. An NPC across from you says "Hey you, you're finally awake"- Step 12: Once you are back to the main menu, restart your game, wait for it to update, and then you should get 6 new masks and a new movie theater option with: -Somewhere in Mexico: the ending you get for beating white house normally -Offshore Payday: a live action of a small party threw by the crew to celebrate "the greatest heist of all" -Rumors and Stories: A text crawl detailing what happened to all the playable characters (anybody who's completed the secret before can you remind me what obvious things i missed)
Very nice write-up, Waffles, thank you! This will surely be helpful for readers interested in The Secret. In the future, I'll also make a video about it too, although there are so many ideas I want to make, that it's hard to get to all of them :p I definitely prefer Step 3 instead of 3.5, as you kinda mention too. Not only is it more fun, it also prepares you for the wheel in the final room, which will be very helpful when under pressure!
@@Marcmb Yeah, I agree with you on the fact that step 3 is better than 3.5, but i did mention 3.5 since it was the method i used, and it did leave me quite unprepared for the wheel. The best way I did it at that point was just referencing the image that i mentioned in step 6 over and over and that was much more annoying for inputting and checking the word
@@waffles6280 Yup, I can definitely see why those mods make it a lot more convenient (especially the one that auto-filters your 20 achievements automatically), but then the wheel becomes very tedious unless you get "carried" by someone who knows how to translate, which takes a lot of the fun out of it! I'll still probably mention them in the video guide, though! For convenience... but only after explaining how to translate them :)
Hey K. K.! That's indeed a very important point. I never knew about this, because I always go for the strategy of killing the 4 guards at the PEOC, so I never had a chance to find out :p I always assumed there would be some kind of check before despawning the guards, to prevent alerted or dead guards from being despawned, but it turns out it's not a very thorough check! Some other comments also mentioned this, and some have also added that if the guards are alerted (alive), or dominated, they will despawn, but if they are dead, their pager will still go off after the ECM!
Great vid! Quick question, is you are still answering these: At the end of the heist, during the escape, I always get spotted somehow. Do you know of the reason for this or is it just me getting spotted in casing mode, which I assume is the mode we go into after unmasking
Hey Somedude! Excellent question. It's an old bug that never got fixed. When you enter the final airlock to unmask and go to the helicopter, if you are CROUCHED during that transition, your detection will bug out and you will be spotted by the outside guards.
hmm I got curious if I break glass at 13:25, would the alarm go off. But I dont want to test it because if alarm goes off I have completely ruined my stealth run at the end : )
Hey there Jang! Glad you're enjoying the old content, thank you! :p As for the glass at 13:25, it's all alarmed, so make sure you don't shoot at it! You could also get a guard to shoot at the glass, and the alarm would go off :p It's just the glass panes with "GenSec" stickers though, and glass outside of the vault is perfectly fine :)
It's certainly really fun! Very big heist, and very fun to play. But it's definitely relevant to the story, so I would suggest continuing with the "Storyline" order, or at least leaving completing a few other heists before going for this one :p
I'll say it as usual: Now thanks to you I can play this mission more often. By the way the question How long have you been doing the video? Or is it classified information? :) Just wondering how much time you spend on one video
Hey Greefoon! Glad that the video was helpful, enjoy the tips! :) Each video idea usually takes me between 1 and 2 weeks to record and edit. Some of them are clearly longer (White House and Big Oil being around 20 minutes), while others are shorter. In general, ECM rushes are much easier to edit because it's just a single run and a single clip, which is good because then I have time to make longer videos like this one. I've been very busy this last week however, so I have to admit that in order to edit this one in time, I went to sleep at 6 AM yesterday! Don't tell anyone though, that IS classified information! :D
Hey Adam, that's perfect! Good to know that the video will be useful :) This heist is really fun once you get used to how it works (a bit punishing at first maybe, with all the tight corners), so hopefully this will be helpful! :D If you find anything that should be explained further, or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!!
Hi Marcmb, I love your videos. They have helped me become a better stealth player for myself and sharing to other persons. I have two question, will you ever make an in-depth Shacklethorne Auction heist? Also, what HUD do you use? Thank you!!
Thanks a lot, much appreciated! Glad you've been enjoying and learning from the videos, and even sharing them! :) I _will_ absolutely make a guide for Shacklethorne Auction, just like this one! For now, the next guide has been confirmed to be for Framing Frame, but after that it's still undecided! As for my HUD, I use a combination of _PocoHud3_ and _Additional PocoHud trackers._ The former is responsible for the ECM timers, as well as the floating timers for drills, time locks, hacks, pagers... (whenever they are present). It also includes other on-screen numbers such as: FPS meter, IRL clock, levels right next to player names, and some numbers for each player which are "Kills | Jokered enemies | Current downs | Maximum downs (before custody)". As for the latter, _Additional PocoHud trackers,_ I mainly use it for the 3.5s countdown before Sixth sense triggers, but it will also show you trackers for all kinds of things (any skill which has a duration or cooldown). Both are highly customizable so everything can be toggled on and off, depending on what you want! If you want to try them out for yourself, I have a Steam post with download links, and install instructions (as well as my specific mod settings), which you can find here! steamcommunity.com/groups/MarcmbCrimeNET/discussions/0/2279330983559406525/
Just a thought, since you did bring tripmines... From what I understand, the airlocks in this game are a trick Overkill uses to cram more stuff in one level, by unloading the previous area. Since you already demonstrated that gunshots from the last guard in the P.E.O.C don't immediately raise the alarm, and guards upstairs probably aren't even loaded in, couldn't you kill that one with a tripwire? I know it doesn't add anything, I just thought of it because you brought tripmines...and blowing up enemies in stealth is kinda fun!
Haha, that would be a fun way to get rid of them, for sure! Not especially useful, but cool to see :p As you say, every time you go through one of those airlocks, everything in the previous section is despawned (including the guards). The only exception are the Murkies at the front, who stay there for the entire heist. Thus, if those Murkies are far enough (trip mine explosions have a range of 50m, slightly higher than unsilenced weapons), then this would be a feasible approach! :p
Hahaha yes!!! I didn't want to mention it, because there wasn't a lot of "free time" without text on the screen, but well spotted, illegalwaffles!! :D Very proud of this comment! :p
That is true Penguins, yup :( I have an above-average PC, so I have never seen it myself, but it seems quite common for low end PCs. Luckily there's a mod to fix the issue, so let me know if you need it. For now I won't link it because the filter is removing anything with links, which is a shame.
Actually if you go to the airlock to activate the escape objective at the end and get spotted it doesn't matter, as long as none of the guards call it in or the pagers run out you won't fail the mission. Seems that the game despawns them after you unmask
Hey Josue! The game does indeed despawn the units when going through the airlock to enter or leave the PEOC (as you can kinda see for example at 9:48), the only exception being the Murky soldiers outside. I thought there would be some kind of check to prevent alerted enemies from being despawned, but I guess the devs didn't consider that necessary! That's very good to know when leaving the PEOC, personally I had never checked because I always go for the "clear the PEOC" approach, or just escape stealthily if I'm doing the alternative strategy! Thank you for the information!
This heist is great, it's stealth is hard and all, but there's a major bug (don't know if it was patched yet) that made all the guards outside get alerted. It happened way to many times for me, so I don't think I'll get close to this stealth ever again. I think it was mere luck I managed to finish it.
Hey Cipher! That bug is the worst yeah... and I'm pretty sure it's still in the game. I've seen a lot of players complaining about it, even though I've never seen it myself. I've been reading some forum posts about that today, and often people say that it can be caused by mods like "Iter", "Keepers", or "Better Bots". Are you by any chance using any of these mods, or a similar one?
Hey Andreicut! Unfortunately that's a bug for computers with relatively low specs, which causes the invisible helicopter hitbox to kill one of the Murkies outside, failing the heist. This mod has a fix for the issue: pd2mods.z77.fr/iter.html
@@Ivan-cs7rq Yeah it's a shame that console doesn't have this one :( It's a great heist... For my next video, I'll make sure to cover a heist that is also available to console players! Also, as for your request for Firestarter day 1, that's definitely on my list of things to do, but I prefer starting with guides for "intended stealth heists" (i.e., heists that were designed to be stealthed), because these can be useful for more heisters!! But I'll definitely get to Firestarter day 1 eventually! :D
Hey Ojan! Sadly, it wasn't your bots :( It's a problem related to performance -- when your PC struggles to keep this heist running, the invisible hitbox for the helicopter (the one you're riding at the start of the heist) can bump into one of the guards, instantly killing them, and failing your stealth run. On the bright side, you can install a certain mod that fixes that issue completely! This mod is _Iter,_ by TldQ: pd2mods.z77.fr/iter.html
Haha absolutely! This one really shows how the engine struggles with certain things :p No wonder it's almost impossible to port this one to console versions!
Thanks johnkar! Glad you liked the guide :) As for your question, I have a video here with all my mods, my HUD (which is PocoHUD3), and instructions to install them! th-cam.com/video/-ZXS1UpjTqI/w-d-xo.html
Very nice vid' Marc 😃 After multiple tries, I noticed that it's very helpful to tag all the guards, because of the corners. It's a nice strategy to keep the pagers for the PEOC. I'm currently working on how to present the Secret (at the same time on my others guides); there's a lot to do and to show XD Even there are others guides on this subject, I think it's interesting to have your contribution, as I like your perfectionnism, your way to present all we can learn on the game 😄 I have a little question: does ECM block the hacking in the PEOC?
Hey Rivles! That's absolutely true: the corners can be very punishing, so the only solution against that is to have the 4 guards constantly marked. There is indeed a lot to explain about The Secret, it's such a huge process! I'm happy that you're enjoying my take on these guides - I appreciate that a lot, thank you! :D As for your ECM question: I honestly don't know! I have never tried ECM rushing the White House, so I don't know if they block the hacking process! I don't think they do though, as far as I know!
Hahah, it does work in real life, for sure!! As Locke himself says: _"A couple years ago, some civvie chop got all the way past the Secret Service, and stole a pair of knickers from the First Lady. It's true, friends!"_ I personally wouldn't recommend this part of the strategy though! Hahaha
A few times during stealth, I've had a murkywater guard die outside (Even if I was in PEOC already!) ruining it instantly. Considering you haven't mentioned it, has it never happened to you? I didn't have mods (Aside from a UI mod) at the time, so it's not an issue with one. Could it be a problem with processing and thus unpreventable (without a mod), since white house runs quite poorly for me even on absolute minimum graphics?
Hey Владислав Сидоренко ! Just as you guessed, it's a bug related to performance, so I've heard a lot about it, but never experienced it myself. Basically the invisible hitbox for the helicopter is bouncing around, and eventually hits (and kills) a Murky outside if you're unlucky. The mod "Iter" fixes it completely, if you wanna get rid of the bug!
Hey juan! Pretty sure I did see it, I just didn't pick it up because I wasn't doing that run to complete the heist -- I was just recording an empty clip to show the laptop spawns :p
Everytime you post a tutorial, I start the game and try it immediately. I managed to learn the wirebox part, but always fail the office part. For me there are too many guards in such a small place, easy to get packed with guards coming from all possible retreat route(which means player has nowhere to go but get discovered). For the secret, I was not worthy at the time I unlocked it, I even didnt have the required mission items in the safehouse(which means can't check the list, but I checked it after I had them, still not complete the list). I joined someone else's game, where assault has started, before entering the PEOC. And they carried me to the secret. I heard a lot of people say you can't have anyone that isn't worthy before entering the PEOC, which will result the painting not glowing. So I am not sure how it worked. Btw, i found the list can be refreashed by repeat the activation. But everytime it gives me the overdrill one which is difficult for me. The other hard ones can be get rid of but not the overdrill it seems.
Thank you Linzhi! I'm happy to hear that :) And you're already making good progress -- the initial part is easily the trickiest when following this strategy! It is indeed easy to get cornered between two guards in that area, depending on your position and their random paths, but that's why the trip mines help so much! Here's some general tips to make it easier and clearer: - Having the three guards marked at all times, combined with the safe space at the Oval Office and the entrance to the West Wing, makes it very easy! - As you can see from my run, I always check all entrances to a room before placing a trip mine in it, and as soon as I have all 3 guards marked I place some riskier trip mines while it's safe. - With the trip mines in place, you have permanent information about their position, so it's quite easy to run from "entrance" to "office" while doing objectives on the way, and the riskiest moment is when you stop to read the email :) As for the Worthiness for The Secret, it is a bit wonky! Often non-Worthy members disconnect in front of the painting, or before entering the PEOC, in order to trigger it... it's wonky for sure, but at least it's guaranteed to work reliably when everyone is Worthy, which is what matters :) The Overdrill should be easy if you go for Death Wish difficulty -- if you want, you can join our Steam group, and there are often players looking for that in the group chat!
macomb guards: is so far they can get all the time, mayby 1 or 2 is close at some point.. My guards: litterally always 1 guard somehow spawns next to a corner and always detects me xD
Haha! It's important to remember (or keep track of, if you have them marked with trip mines) where the guards are, roughly, so that you can work in sections that are empty! And also remember the common corners which are risky to turn blindly, and avoid them! :)
Thank you Sydch, much appreciated! It should be possible to ECM rush it, yes! It's a rather old heist, so I don't think there are any objectives that become jammed under the effect of an ECM. The only problem would be the fact that, after entering the airlock on your way to the exit, the game does not let you mask up again. The airlock animation also lasts for 30s, so any active ECMs will run out. Even with these things considered, I'm sure there is a way to fully ECM rush the heist, but I had never looked into it!
Hey luncans! The initial part is definitely the hardest one, so it makes sense that you're struggling with that one. The West Wing only has 3 guards, and my strategy uses trip mines to keep them constantly marked, so that's impossible to fail. And then the PEOC area has only 4 guards, so you can kill everyone, very easy. Now for your question... in the future I might make another video where I expand on that part, since the footage was only 2 minutes because of how short that section is. Some tips: 1) There's only 4 guards upstairs, try to mark them all while looking for the boxes. 2) When you go downstairs for the RFID reader (after finding the 4 boxes), some of the marks will disappear (they only last 27s). Try to remember where the guards were, roughly. 3) Optional: alternatively, if you like, you can refresh all their marks before you go downstairs and mask up, making use of the superior freedom of movement you have while in casing mode (even though you still have to watch out for certain blind corners). 4) When you go back up, the area close to the wall away from the piano is very safe: try to mark as many guards as possible from there. You can see most waypoints in the central (blue) room, and guards moving through there and through the corridor. Whenever you have a couple guards marked, you can start moving into the safer rooms: peek into the big room to mark some more guards, and retreat. Constantly keep track of the other guards that you have marked. Whenever you have 3-4 guards marked, you can take many risks: quickly go for one box, open it and retreat. Repeat until you find the 2 wires!
@@Marcmb thank you very much! I am going to try again using this strategy and work more carefully, retreating after every box. (I am not very good at stealth)
@@luncans8291 That should definitely make it more reliable, yes! Obviously, make sure to find the 4 boxes while in casing mode, as the video suggests, and do your best to remember where they are! :D Good luck in your next attempts!
Hey Afonso! I'll definitely make a video to show that in a very convenient and easy to follow way (when I have some time), but until then, you can find my settings (one screenshot for each page of the settings) here: steamcommunity.com/groups/MarcmbCrimeNET/discussions/0/2279330983559406525/
Hey, can you do a video like this about The bomb - Dockyard? It's the stealth heist I never manage to complete. Also maybe explaining safe spots for bodybags or loot bags.
Hey Regaz! I'll definitely make one complete stealth guide for Dockyard at some point! Although I very recently did the video about ECM rushing the heist, so it will have to be in a while to avoid repeating heists too close to each other... Until then, you can check the ECM rush video, which shows you all the possible spawns for keycards, phones, and computers, which can help for regular stealth. As for the safe spots that you ask about: - for body bags: there are many safe spots inside the buildings, but until you learn them, you can always leave the body bags inside dumpsters, or throw them to the sea. - for loot bags: I would recommend skipping the additional loot at the beginning, until you master the heist and sneaking around it. This way, you don't need to worry about hiding the loot bags, so the heist is much easier; and when you learn all about it, then you can start going for the loot! And hiding it in the trains, or in the control rooms... while you loot everything.
Hey ox Dex! Of course I recognize you from your comments lately :) Glad you're enjoying the content! As for your question, that's the Locomotive 12G, a very useful stealth shotgun. I personally always use it because it looks really nice, and it can also change a lot (visually, from a 1st player perspective) depending on the mods you use. If you want to reproduce this exact look, here's the list of mods that I use (probably the most common stealth Loco setup): · BARREL EXT: The Silent Killer Supressor. · GADGET: LED Combo. (if you don't have enough concealment, you can switch this one for a Compact Laser Module -- or just remove the gadget) · GRIP: Straight Grip. · MAGAZINE: Extended Magazine. · STOCK: Tactical Shorty Stock. · AMMUNITION: 000 Buckshot. · BOOST: Team Boost. · SKIN: the new "Crypto" color that was obtained from the now removed LockeBreacher puzzle -- the settings I chose for the color are Paint Scheme: Inverted; Wear: Mint-Condition; Pattern Scale: Medium!
Hey High Kat! The shotgun is Locomotive 12G. My recent saw build video also shows all its weapon attachments. I'm glad you're enjoying the guides :) Thank you very much, I appreciate it!
Hey Raymond Keen! That is exactly right: in this heist, all doors, or connections to rooms/corridors that are inaccessible to players, are invisible walls that players can't walk through, but corpses will go through with no problem! And to make things even worse: even if the corpse is in range, the invisible wall blocks interactions too, so you can't answer the pager even if it's right there...
@@Marcmb Yea Ive learnt it the hard way. The first time Ive entered the PEOC I was so happy that Ive finally done it without killing anyone and started to kill those guard without thinking ;(
@@rrrrayymun Aww, that is very unfortunate :( The good thing is that, if you've already gotten there once, I'm sure you've learnt a lot, and you can do it again! Plus that's a very important lesson that you learn once, and you don't mess up ever again :p
Hey Mauer! The only problem with that strategy is that, after entering the airlock on your way to the exit, the game does not let you mask up again. The airlock animation also lasts for 30s, so any active ECMs will run out. With a bit of imagination I'm positive that there's a way to ECM rush the heist, but it's not very straightforward! :p
Thank you Ahmad, glad you enjoyed this one! It's one of the biggest heists (in terms of size, assets, etc) so they have confirmed that, for this reason, this one in particular can't be added to the console version, which is a shame :(
@@Abm289 Glad that you think so, thank you very much! That's very kind of you :) Although I never expected to get so many subscribers in the first place, so I'm really happy to be here! :)
Thank you gor all the tips but dam when I got only 700,000 and 2M for offshore in this heist it'a not worth the time ,effort and the pain it cost at all
Hey skot! I'll definitely do a video about how to install it, and show my settings as well. Until then (because I don't know when the video will be ready), you can check all my settings here! steamcommunity.com/groups/MarcmbCrimeNET/discussions/0/2279330983559406525/
Hey sidekic! For some reason the two spawns on the lower floor are quite rare, so just like you experienced, it's quite common to have all wire boxes on the ground floor! :D
I haven't played payday in a while, but does this heist still glitch out where all the murky soldiers outside get alerted randomly? I could never do it in stealth because of that.
Hey BlazedBacon! I have never had that bug myself, but there are a few comments mentioning that it's still happening. However, I've been reading into it, and apparently *it's often one of these MODS that causes the glitch* (which would explain why I have never seen it personally). *Are you, by any chance, using one of these 3 mods, or a similar one?* (1) Iter (2) Better bots (3) Keepers
@@Marcmb just so wonky but I’m sure for pc players they’d leave it that way but for consoles they’ll probably change it 🤦🏻♂️ they hate console players for some reason
Consoles are completely left behind yup, it's a shame :( The good news is that this is mostly related to the engine: with the outdated Diesel engine, porting the PC content to console would take a lot of dev time (and 70% of the team is working on PAYDAY3, so they don't have many devs). Fortunately, with PAYDAY3 they'll be using Unreal Engine, so porting to console will be really easy! Hoping for the best on that one...
Hey Cheeseburger! Good question, and very simple answer. The RFID box that I open at 2:12 has two lights, indicating the colors of the 2 wires you need to cut!
Hey Skyfry! That is indeed the case for the OVERDRILL, but in the second Secret, you can activate it with any amount of players (as long as everyone involved is Worthy) and regardless of stealth/loud, as the enemies in the final section will spawn regardless!
Hey Furkan Senturk! My HUD is a combination of _PocoHud3_ and _Additional PocoHud trackers._ The former is responsible for the ECM timers, as well as the floating timers for drills, time locks, hacks, pagers... Hey The Shadow! That's not normal at all... I have heard of similar bugs happening due to performance issues, could that be the problem? You should be able to walk at the beginning while ignoring the murkies, as you see in my recording!
@@theshadow3215 Hey Shadow! I had read about this a few years ago, but I forgot about it because I thought the issue had been fixed. I've been re-reading things now, so let me ask you a few questions: 1) What's your detection rating? 2) Are you using any mods? 3) Does the game automatically mask you up before you leave the helicopter, or is it after you have been walking for a while? Hopefully we can fix this issue :) Would be nice!

That usually solves unexpected issues when no mods are involved, hopefully it can fix yours :(
Hey adrian! When The Secret was released, you needed a team of 4 Worthy players to interact with the painting and complete The Secret. However, shortly after the original release, Overkill updated it to allow players to complete the heist solo, or with any amount of players! ** Thus, nowadays, if you're playing solo and you're Worthy, you can access The Secret by yourself! If you're playing with bots, as soon as you place the 3rd C4, the bots will be teleported to the airlock, and if you guide them to the elevator you will be able to go down. If you're playing without bots, you can just go to the elevator directly, without waiting for them. Doing it solo actually makes it easier because Cloakers will not charge you when you are the last member alive on your team, that's how I did it for my first clear! :)
@@Marcmb Holly shit i didn't know that. I have to become worthy jet. Thx, now I will try to get all that achievements. If you make a secret guide, can you make a segment to solo players? It would be so useful for some people like me.^^
@@adrianjsf Absolutely! I'll definitely include a brief explanation of how to do it solo, because it was a lot of fun to do, back when I did it! :D Although it's probably gonna require a lot of time to make a video about The Secret, so it will most likely have to wait until August probably!
Hey SiegeDaddy! That's my HUD mod, which is basically a combination of _PocoHud3_ and _Additional PocoHud trackers._ The former is responsible for the ECM timers, as well as the floating timers for drills, time locks, hacks, pagers... (whenever they are present). It also includes other on-screen numbers such as: FPS meter, IRL clock, levels right next to player names, and some numbers for each player which are "Kills | Jokered enemies | Current downs | Maximum downs (before custody)". As you mentioned in the video, an additional guard will spawn if you _kill_ at least one guard in the PEOC. However, you did not mention that if you _dominate_ a guard, an additional one will not come. That leads to the following:
1. If you have only 3 pagers left when you get to the PEOC, you can try to dominate every guard in the room, which can be a tricky if you play solo. But if you still want to try it, my proposed strategy is:
dominate the guard closest to the entrance when he is on the staircase.
I'll do my best to keep it up :)
And yeah getting handcuffed would definitely be a risk with this strategy, that's true!
Killing them at any point after the pagers have been answered still triggers the extra guard as usual (I tried waiting 30 minutes and then killing one of the three dominated guards, which triggered the extra guard), so it's indeed just a simple check for dead guards :)
@@Marcmb Hey Marcmb! There is nothing to apologize for, considering all the work you do for the community. Thanks for being amazing!
@@Marcmb it doesnt seem easier as 4 rather than alone.
But all of you get to go underneath and come back up again.
Hahaah, no please Doc! Delete the comment before they find out!! Nobody tell them!!! Hahaha :D

@Marcmb Trump will use this to get back inside after 20th January! XD Very nice guide. Perfectly edited. I always had trouble with the P.E.O.C. Thank you!
We're the future Medical Students Doc. You and I. :)

However if you have the silent assassin mod you can do it before getting detected (yes I use silent assassin because I am too bad at pagers)
Waiting for a full tutorial how to get the secret achievement linked with that painting!
Hey Dawid! Good to know that there's some interest in that :) I couldn't add it to this video because it was quite long already, but the whole Secret thing is very interesting, so I would definitely like to do some content about it in the future!

Why did they make the secret in thiss
@@dreamer1206 It chugs a lot that's true :( Although maybe part of the reason, is because the map became so huge when they added The Secret, that optimization became trickier...

I love how there's exact moment of failing "perfect" stealth:
4/4 pagers
You start escaping from PEOC
You by bad luck get detected
You put ECM Jammer so Pager wont go off (because you killed/dominated him)
Guard despawns
His pager doesn't
It's already too late for anything, since doors to PEOC closed.
You can either die to some random dozer, or someone from your team just wont get in escape zone
Jesus I love this heist. Such cool idea but shitty execution of it:
Bad performance
Bad luck=Restart (in most of the cases because cameras are shit, guard sees you making chain reaction, while hacking mainframe phone goes off, and every possible guard just stands near it, or other)
Ending of this heist. If you panic too much then GG you're dead.
But again, just like in shadow raid. Thanks for guide. Helped me a lot learning about this heist.
Indeed, it's always sad when the pager goes off when you can no longer do anything about it, and you see it slowly counting down to your demise :p
Glad you enjoyed the guide, and good to know it helped out!
Especially if you were already a stealth player back in your early infamies :p
I'm glad to hear that the guide will be helpful, thank you and good luck with your heist! :)
Thanks Marcmb, I'm appreciating your guide, after nearly 20 attempts I managed to complete the heist.
Hey Fat CJ, thank you very much! Glad the guide was helpful :) Less than 20 attempts for one of the final stealth heists isn't bad at all! And after completing it once, you can probably beat it in just one next time, well done!!
@@Marcmb Mostly I failed while doing wires objective, no jokes.
Ain't this pretty much what Marc pointed out in his Alesso Heist video when you go through the process of unmasking
i had made a video similar to this when i got a run with all 3 stealthable achievements back in May(souvenir, fully stealth with no cameras broken, wearing a president mask) where i gave my opinion on how the heist is split into different sections and which ones are more difficult, also explaining how to easily go through the PEOC by showing the guard paths. im glad there are more people that like this heist, it's a really fun stealth level.
Hey ent! Nice to see you in the comments again :p I didn't check the achievements for the White House, but I can definitely see how that's a good opportunity to clear the heist with all achievements, that was a good idea!
We definitely agree on the heist being split into different sections, with some being more difficult than others :)
I think, depending on playstyle, some heisters will decide to kill all the guards in the West Wing to breeze through that section and take their time in the P.E.O.C., while others will avoid the guards in the West Wing and completely clear the P.E.O.C.
It's definitely a great stealth heist, for sure! :D

Seriously, all of your info is explained very well, and makes anything you put your hands on easy for everyone!

Hey Allan! Thank you for the kind feedback about the guide :)
In my personal opinion, I like the fact the heist is designed with three sections (each with similar guard distributions), giving you a clear opportunity to be extra careful in one section; dump all your resources in another one to make it slightly easier; and completely clear the third one. What makes this general choice even better is that you are completely free to decide which part gets which treatment. One good stealth heist in my personal opinion!
But I can see how there are other heists that are considered more dynamic, or more condensed into a single "building" rather than having many separate phases, and it's definitely a very different style!
This heist has super similar objectives to San Martin Bank, Overkill caught slacking ;p
Also the glove clipping trough sleeve on your arm :)
Hey Enio! The objectives are quite similar, that's true :p At least when they made San Martín Bank, they used a new way to "code" the wire boxes (numbers tied to colors, rather than colors directly), so it felt unique in its own way! :D
And yeah, my arm is completely clipping through the Murky uniform :( I hope they will fix that soon in the next updates!
Haha nice! Glad you've been enjoying the AI tricks, and congrats on the big stealth progress! Many others still struggle with White House :p
Good luck with the loud heists too!
That's actually very smart -- I didn't mention in the guide what to do in situations where you have to spend some pagers that you didn't plan on using, but that's definitely a very efficient way to use your available pagers!
I love ur content, keep it up! What do u say about White house ecm rush?
Thank you Bluee Zenith, I appreciate that a lot! :D And I will do my best to keep it up :)
The White House ECM rush has been in my mind lately, while recording all the clips for this video. It definitely seems possible, and it should be fun to do!
I always learn new things from your videos
I might add a little info, if you allerted the guards at the PEOC, if you have enough ecm jammers you can let them live (dont dominate or kill), just put one ecm (or pocket ecm) and run up the stairs to unmasked, the allerted red symbol will dissapear once we unmasked, not sure bout Alesso heist tho
Keep up the good work 👍
Hey ARIF, I'm glad I can teach you some small things about the different heists, good to know!
Ouhh, cant work with Alesso heist, Thx man

@@AREPBOSS Good question! I play stealth almost exclusively because I enjoy it a lot more, so that's why my content focuses on that essentially.
ECM rushing the West Wing part without killing anyone sounds like a really fun idea, I'll have to try it out one of these days :p
I knew that the guards despawned when going through the airlock (I generally dominate one of them when clearing the PEOC, and he despawns when I go through the airlock), but I always assumed the game would not despawn them if they were alerted or killed. Thanks for the information! I definitely could have saved the run in that last clip then! Although I was just throwing to show the example of course, I'm not very familiar with that particular situation because I always go for the approach of clearing the entire PEOC :p
@@Marcmb Just did some more experiments and here are some additionalfindings:
1. While guards are despawned passing the airlock, merkies outside are not, meaning players cannot let them hear gunshots and become uncool.
2. Uncool and dominated guards are despawned but corpses are not and will trigger pager response
So it seems that players will need pager blocking ECMs to rush the west wing while dominating encountered guards in order to avoid gunshots and ensure guards are despawned "properly".
@@MrKkspeed Hey bruce, thanks for all this detailed information! I was gonna do these tests myself, but this saves me a lot of time! :D
(1) Murkies are indeed the exception -- you can notice this because if you reach The Secret in stealth, when you activate it, the only exclamation points (!) are the Murkies outside, which I guess never despawn.
This should make the ECM rush very easy, even though I'm not sure if it's possible while playing solo, the timing would be quite tight :p
you are the hope of the pd2 community, good job Marc!
Thank you Nikolai, I appreciate that a lot! 💗
Glad you enjoyed this video! :)
I like how he just refers to the Dining room upstairs as the "Big room"
Very true! I always go for the "full PEOC clear" strategy, so I never knew about this one until someone mentioned it in the comments :p
Although, if I remember properly, dominated guards are also despawned when going through the airlock (dead guards being the only exception) -- it's been a few months since I tested those things though, and since then I've gone back to the "full PEOC clear" approach :p
@@Marcmb Idk, I discovered that when the heist came out.
@@MIHUKI5 Next time I check it out, I'll make sure to write it down, and eventually make a video about it, to have a consistent place to look for that information :p
It's a bit hard to remember, because there are other heists with similar despawn mechanics, like Alesso Heist, which have the exact opposite behavior -- alerted guards that are left alive will not despawn (and they will then sound the alarm), but those who are killed or dominated will despawn even if they had an unanswered pager.
I also read another comment mentioning the same thing about PEOC guards respawning, so it must have been quite widespread back then!
Happy to know that the video is helpful, and I agree -- the original ending of PAYDAY 2 is quite sad, seeing Bain go because after all you do you can't save him :(
Luckily, the Secret Ending is a bit more positive, and makes up for it in a few ways! No spoilers though :p
Not sure about this, haven't tested it, but Brooklyn 10-10 only goes loud when 'suspicious activity alerted the police' so maybe it's able to be stealthed like green bridge? just an idea, keep up the good stealth content ;)
p.s. also you can ecm rush the peoc section and after leaving the peoc the alerted guards are unable to set off the alarm so I prefer the alternative method shown then ecm rushing the last bit
Hey Daedrolis! That sounds like a very good idea, thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into it and check if the initial assault can be delayed. Glad that you're enjoying the stealth content! :)
Also, regarding your suggested strategy for the PEOC, I guess you mean when playing with a crew? That definitely sounds like a very nice plan when you have 4 players and everyone knows what they are doing!
I remeber my first time doing this at dsod i were in P.E.O.C. i had 3 pagers and one body bag whaen i have answered all pagers i thought that i have won the game but i didnt know about fourth guard. He has spotted one body. I havent played that heist, but when you have donw the guide i have done it thanks mate!
Awesome! Happy to hear that my guide helped, that's great! :D
The fourth guard can indeed be unexpected when you get there for the first time. Turns out (as *Adil Minassipov* mentioned in the pinned comment), that if you dominate the 3 guards (without killing any of them), the bonus guard does not spawn!! So if you have 3 pagers, that's really good :D
Thank you for another Everything you need to know video! I can't wait to watch it 1,000 times and then master this stealth heist just like Big Oil :)
Thank you Kuro! I'm glad that you're enjoying them: they are really fun to make, especially going in-depth into many different aspects! (even if it takes quite a while to record all the different clips haha)
Good luck with this one! I'm sure you will soon be able to master everything that I mentioned, and I'm very happy that it's helping! :D
@@Marcmb I'll have to wait a hot minute before I can actually give this one a try, since I just did an Infamny... :P
Honestly, the fact you go super in-depth to all the various aspects is what makes these guides so great. You even provide paths that we can adapt to our preferences along with alternative methods of completing parts of the heist.
I imagine it can take quite some time to record all of those clips, I really hope you're using a mod that enables you to record these location clips without the pesky guards bothering you! lol
I look forward to the next heist in this series :)
@@MushokuThing Haha yeah, definitely get some levels first! No-skills challenges are fun, but I would only consider them after having completed the heist a few times :p
I'm glad that the in-depth details are appreciated -- if you run into any troubles while running the heist yourself, as usual, don't hesitate to ask!
Oh and regarding the guards, I considered it for sure! But most mods to do that are cheats, so my only option was to record different runs, where I cleared different areas using the 4 available pagers and I hid the bodies so that they wouldn't be shown on camera hahaha :D
Thank you for your support, and hopefully the next video can be good too!
Good job man! I never knew you had to check the laptops, just that you had to do them.
Thank you addictedtooflight! Indeed, by checking them you can complete the objective much faster, and know for sure where the USB is. Very handy!
Another tutorial for a heist that I was trying to do yesterday.
Thank you so much. I'll see if I can do it as easily as you. Probably not though
Hey James! Perfect timing it seems :p
The heist is much easier than it seems at first, so don't worry!
Good guide! I barely play this heist at all so you definitely got it much more complete then me so I don't have much to say here. Thanks as always--
Thank you Mot! I don't think I've ever seen the WR runs for this heist, but I can't imagine any crazy optimizations other than just modifying the RNG for the shortest possible paths, and the luckiest bookshelf check :D
If you're interested in quickly getting a free WR, I would assume that going in straight through the front entrance by using the extra-silent saw to go directly to the RFID probably saves you a few seconds! :p
Well this is really usefull, I learnt à lot of things in it and then i have completed this heist on stealth. I can't wait for the big bank one xD
Hey El Gran Padre! I'm glad that the video taught you some things, and congratulations on stealthing the heist! :)
Big Bank video sometime in the future, for sure!
Great guide and great editing, as always
Thank you Red! I appreciate that a lot :D
Next time we play, feel free to request The White House if you want!
Just personal preference :)
And thank you for considering subscribing! Glad my content is helping you a bit, and hopefully you'll enjoy the upcoming projects! :D
there we go AGAIN after shadow raid now am doing white house solo your vid is always here helping me!!!
That's great to hear Kiruya! Glad this one helped you as well :D
Amazing video as always, friend! I myself would absolutely love if you made a video about The Secret! Cheers!
Thank you kermit! Glad you liked this one too, much appreciated! :)
It seems like there is definitely interest in videos related to The Secret, so I'm definitely adding this to the list of projects!
@@Marcmb So, I tried again, and I confirm that alert guards will disappeared once the airlock passed
However, a delayed pager will activate once the ECM is finished.
You are doing gods work. Thank you now ill be able to show my friends this is how you do the white house. XD
I know of the secret but I also want you to show it. The puzzle is weird for first timers.
For those reading this comment who are curious about secret here's a brief tutorial:
step 0: in order to start the secret you have to have completed: Henry's Rock, Breakin' Feds, Brooklyn Bank (BB has to be on OVK or above, every other heist can be done on lower difficulties) and Shacklethorne Auction. You also have to have Scarface's room in the safehouse maxed out. Then make sure all trophies are on display
Step 1: take the medallion from BB over to to the boxes you got from the other heists, open them up, and assemble the contents along with the tablet from SA
Step 2: go over to Scarface's room and play a specific song on the piano (just look up a better guide to find the song you have to play, besides you'll have to later anyways for reasons)
Step 3: Interact with the newly activated mechanism where you assembled the parts and interact with it, this will display 20 messages in whole and it does loop *TAKE SCREENSHOTS OF ALL OF THEM* , these messages are associated with achievements in the game, so you can have a decent amount already done before starting. (These messages are randomized and it is read right to left) Then translate them with online resources and find the associated achievements
Step 3.5: if you feel like cheating a little, there are mods that help skip or ease this first translating phase, but you still gotta do the second one
Step 4: complete all of the achievements you need to do, a decent amount are in DLCs though, so keep that aware if you don't have all the DLCs, but not Silk Road DLCs from my experience
Step 5: once all the achievements are done hop into the White House heist on OVK or above and go to the PEOC, you can do it quiet or loud up to the painting, but blasting through the wall will be loud af, but going in quiet does preserve ammo you'll be needing (I'd recommend bringing something that's automatic and not too accurate, but with good stability and something that doesn't go through ammo too quick or has ammo that can be picked back up)
Step 6: take the lift down and get ready, if you have AI's to work with then set 2 of them to hole up, and the third mobile to revive you if you get downed by the enemies that will spawn in this area. I guess that you could download another mod or just use the previous guide to assist translation)
Step 7: translate the big boi wheel 4 times in a row while dealing with ghost cloakers, front left lever is input solution, back right rotates middle, front right rotates interior ring and middle, back left right rotates outer ring and middle, and make sure to double check before inputting each since if you screw up that's a full reset, and make sure to reload before inputting the last one
Step 8: walk inside the vault and wait for the dentist to arrive with Bain and Locke, then get ready since if you screw up this next bit you have to reset the White House heist and the entire second translation, aim a bit to the right of the middle of the door (if i remember correctly) at head level and then...
Step 9: When the door opens, ruin the dentist's teeth by filling them with lead (this is why i recommended an automatic, inaccurate gun), and then wait for Bain and Locke to get to the big device in the middle of the room (also if i remember correctly you gotta move some gold too)
Step 10: when Bane and Lock get to the middle of the vault and then grab gold from a bag and move it to a bunch of slots along the platform you're on, there is a timer but it's pretty lenient, atleast for one person. Once all the gold is in position, you're done. The heist should end in a bright flash of light.
-Step 11: when the bright flash fades from your screen you should end up in a cart. An NPC across from you says "Hey you, you're finally awake"-
Step 12: Once you are back to the main menu, restart your game, wait for it to update, and then you should get 6 new masks and a new movie theater option with:
-Somewhere in Mexico: the ending you get for beating white house normally
-Offshore Payday: a live action of a small party threw by the crew to celebrate "the greatest heist of all"
-Rumors and Stories: A text crawl detailing what happened to all the playable characters
(anybody who's completed the secret before can you remind me what obvious things i missed)
Very nice write-up, Waffles, thank you! This will surely be helpful for readers interested in The Secret. In the future, I'll also make a video about it too, although there are so many ideas I want to make, that it's hard to get to all of them :p
I definitely prefer Step 3 instead of 3.5, as you kinda mention too.
Your videos are insane my guy.
Thank you Josh! Much appreciated, glad you're enjoying the content!! :)

This is a great guide! Thank you very much for your work!
Glad you liked it, Daniel, thank you! Much appreciated :)
An interesting thing to mancion is that you can EMC rush leaving P. E. O. C. since everything despawns in there like in Alesso heist
Hey K. K.! That's indeed a very important point. I never knew about this, because I always go for the strategy of killing the 4 guards at the PEOC, so I never had a chance to find out :p
I always assumed there would be some kind of check before despawning the guards, to prevent alerted or dead guards from being despawned, but it turns out it's not a very thorough check! Some other comments also mentioned this, and some have also added that if the guards are alerted (alive), or dominated, they will despawn, but if they are dead, their pager will still go off after the ECM!
bringing a crossbow for this heist helps with marking laptops if you remember to do so
Very true Nintendo! One of those heists where bringing the arrow weapons can be useful. To this day that's still one of my favorite tips!
When you enter the final airlock to unmask and go to the helicopter, if you are CROUCHED during that transition, your detection will bug out and you will be spotted by the outside guards.
nice one as usual! I cant believe I missed this video lol.
hmm I got curious if I break glass at 13:25, would the alarm go off. But I dont want to test it because if alarm goes off I have completely ruined my stealth run at the end : )
Hey there Jang! Glad you're enjoying the old content, thank you! :p
As for the glass at 13:25, it's all alarmed, so make sure you don't shoot at it! You could also get a guard to shoot at the glass, and the alarm would go off :p
It's just the glass panes with "GenSec" stickers though, and glass outside of the vault is perfectly fine :)
oh wow, this seems really fun to stealth, but I kind of care about the storyline so i’m going to hold off for now.
It's certainly really fun! Very big heist, and very fun to play. But it's definitely relevant to the story, so I would suggest continuing with the "Storyline" order, or at least leaving completing a few other heists before going for this one :p
I'll say it as usual:
Now thanks to you I can play this mission more often.
By the way the question
How long have you been doing the video?
Or is it classified information? :)
Just wondering how much time you spend on one video
Hey Greefoon! Glad that the video was helpful, enjoy the tips! :)
Each video idea usually takes me between 1 and 2 weeks to record and edit.
Idk why but I really struggle with White House stealth so this should help :)
Hey Adam, that's perfect! Good to know that the video will be useful :)
This heist is really fun once you get used to how it works (a bit punishing at first maybe, with all the tight corners), so hopefully this will be helpful!
I _will_ absolutely make a guide for Shacklethorne Auction, just like this one! For now, the next guide has been confirmed to be for Framing Frame, but after that it's still undecided!
As for my HUD, I use a combination of _PocoHud3_ and _Additional PocoHud trackers._
The former is responsible for the ECM timers, as well as the floating timers for drills, time locks, hacks, pagers...
@@Marcmb Thank you so much I followed what you said and got everything install perfectly. Looking forward to more video! Love you
@@MariBaezy Glad I was able to help with that, you're welcome!
Happy to hear that you're looking forward to future content, thank you very much! :D
Not especially useful, but cool to see :p
As you say, every time you go through one of those airlocks, everything in the previous section is despawned (including the guards). The only exception are the Murkies at the front, who stay there for the entire heist.
Thus, if those Murkies are far enough (trip mine explosions have a range of 50m, slightly higher than unsilenced weapons), then this would be a feasible approach! :p
10:53 Return of the stuttering Locke!
Hahaha yes!!! I didn't want to mention it, because there wasn't a lot of "free time" without text on the screen, but well spotted, illegalwaffles!! :D Very proud of this comment! :p
If u have a low end PC expect the helicopter to glitch and alert all the guards at the landing site :)
@@Marcmb yeah, I was using better bots, I think it was the reason
@@cipher698 Interesting! That may be the reason then, because I have never seen it myself, and it seems to be very common for other players!
everytime i reach the west wing some guy outside gets alerted and when the alarm goes off it says that the pager didnt receive an answer
Hey Andreicut! Unfortunately that's a bug for computers with relatively low specs, which causes the invisible helicopter hitbox to kill one of the Murkies outside, failing the heist. This mod has a fix for the issue: pd2mods.z77.fr/iter.html
Awesome video, I play on console and I wished that we had the White House so I could try out this guide:(
And dude you should also do a guide on fire starter day 1 because it’s imposible to do stealth
@@Marcmb ok thanks bro👍🏻👍🏻🎮
I don't know why, after i open the vault my bot just killed a guard without answering the pager then the heist goes loud
The Diesel Engine during this heist: AH I NEEED A MEDIC BAG
Haha absolutely! This one really shows how the engine struggles with certain things :p No wonder it's almost impossible to port this one to console versions!

As for your question, I have a video here with all my mods, my HUD (which is PocoHUD3), and instructions to install them! th-cam.com/video/-ZXS1UpjTqI/w-d-xo.html
Very nice vid' Marc 😃
After multiple tries, I noticed that it's very helpful to tag all the guards, because of the corners. It's a nice strategy to keep the pagers for the PEOC.
I'm currently working on how to present the Secret (at the same time on my others guides); there's a lot to do and to show XD Even there are others guides on this subject, I think it's interesting to have your contribution, as I like your perfectionnism, your way to present all we can learn on the game 😄
I have a little question: does ECM block the hacking in the PEOC?
As for your ECM question: I honestly don't know! I have never tried ECM rushing the White House, so I don't know if they block the hacking process! I don't think they do though, as far as I know!
Great guide as always, but does this guide also work on real life too? If not when the tutorial of stealth White House real life run? :)
Hahah, it does work in real life, for sure!! As Locke himself says:
_"A couple years ago, some civvie chop got all the way past the Secret Service, and stole a pair of knickers from the First Lady. It's true, friends!"_
I personally wouldn't recommend this part of the strategy though!
4:42-One Gage Package-RIP, you didn't seen it, well, no one has the perfect eye visualitation or ethier the best sight.
Hey juan! Pretty sure I did see it, I just didn't pick it up because I wasn't doing that run to complete the heist -- I was just recording an empty clip to show the laptop spawns :p
@@Marcmb Ok-I thinked since you said that packages give more XP.
@@juannicastro8598 Correct! +0.5% XP bonus per package :) I do collect them on runs I will finish :D
Here's some general tips to make it easier and clearer:
- Having the three guards marked at all times, combined with the safe space at the Oval Office and the entrance to the West Wing, makes it very easy!
- As you can see from my run, I always check all entrances to a room before placing a trip mine in it, and as soon as I have all 3 guards marked I place some riskier trip mines while it's safe.
- With the trip mines in place, you have permanent information about their position, so it's quite easy to run from "entrance" to "office" while doing objectives on the way, and the riskiest moment is when you stop to read the email :)
As for the Worthiness for The Secret, it is a bit wonky! Often non-Worthy members disconnect in front of the painting, or before entering the PEOC, in order to trigger it... it's wonky for sure, but at least it's guaranteed to work reliably when everyone is Worthy, which is what matters :)
The Overdrill should be easy if you go for Death Wish difficulty -- if you want, you can join our Steam group, and there are often players looking for that in the group chat!
@@Marcmb Definately would join the group for more fun.
@@linzhihan294 Awesome! Looking forward to seeing you in one of the lobbies, whenever you have time :D
Got to the last part with 4 pagers... just to launch a guy to an invisible wall and I couldnt answer the pager.
RIP :( The devs recently fixed the invisible wall issue on the West Wing, but I guess they forgot to do the same for the PEOC...
macomb guards: is so far they can get all the time, mayby 1 or 2 is close at some point..
Another awesome guide, what about ECM rushing it? Is it possible?
Thank you Sydch, much appreciated!
It should be possible to ECM rush it, yes! It's a rather old heist, so I don't think there are any objectives that become jammed under the effect of an ECM. The only problem would be the fact that, after entering the airlock on your way to the exit, the game does not let you mask up again. The airlock animation also lasts for 30s, so any active ECMs will run out.
Even with these things considered, I'm sure there is a way to fully ECM rush the heist, but I had never looked into it!
do you have any more tips for the first part of the heist? I keep getting cornered by guards whilst in the front few rooms.
Some tips:
1) There's only 4 guards upstairs, try to mark them all while looking for the boxes.
Good luck in your next attempts!
Hey Marc, could you tell me (or make a video) on your HUD config? I really like it !

As for the safe spots that you ask about:
- for body bags: there are many safe spots inside the buildings, but until you learn them, you can always leave the body bags inside dumpsters, or throw them to the sea.
You might know me but what is your secondary and attachments for it. Keep up the great work 👍😁
If you want to reproduce this exact look, here's the list of mods that I use (probably the most common stealth Loco setup):
· BARREL EXT: The Silent Killer Supressor.
· GADGET: LED Combo. (if you don't have enough concealment, you can switch this one for a Compact Laser Module -- or just remove the gadget)
· GRIP: Straight Grip.

I'm glad you're enjoying the guides :) Thank you very much, I appreciate it!
@@Marcmb thank you
No problem! :D
Quick Tip: 10:18 don't blast the guard's ass into the right door, you wont be able to go through there if you blast his ass into there
Hey Raymond Keen!

Couldnt you ecm rush the end?

Hey yaboi! If you are playing solo, the outline of the painting will glow as soon as you reach it, indicating that you are Worthy.
@@Marcmb oh ok thanks for the help and tutorial. You have the best stealth guides.
Fun fact
the one time I stealthed the white house was when all 4 wire boxes were on 1f lol
*Are you, by any chance, using one of these 3 mods, or a similar one?*
(1) Iter
(2) Better bots
(3) Keepers
Guards will notice you from miles away and almost go loud in seconds…..but never notice a huge ass trip mine on the walls and chairs 🤦🏻♂️
Phew! Thankfully they _do not_ notice the trip mines, otherwise they would be so useless :D
@@Marcmb just so wonky but I’m sure for pc players they’d leave it that way but for consoles they’ll probably change it 🤦🏻♂️ they hate console players for some reason
Consoles are completely left behind yup, it's a shame :(
The good news is that this is mostly related to the engine: with the outdated Diesel engine, porting the PC content to console would take a lot of dev time (and 70% of the team is working on PAYDAY3, so they don't have many devs). Fortunately, with PAYDAY3 they'll be using Unreal Engine, so porting to console will be really easy! Hoping for the best on that one...

Can "The Secret" be finished solo-stealth? If I maintained stealth until I detonated the C4s, will the AI able to catch up with me down at the PEOC?
Hi! You can't stealth it because the c4 makes the heist go loud and i think after you get into the elevator the bots will teleport to you
You can do it solo stealth with or without bots (they teleport, as *@Martin* said), but it's gonna go loud shortly after you blow up the wall.
I thought the secret had to be activated with 3 other worthy heisters, and in loud?
Hey Skyfry! That is indeed the case for the OVERDRILL, but in the second Secret, you can activate it with any amount of players (as long as everyone involved is Worthy) and regardless of stealth/loud, as the enemies in the final section will spawn regardless!

Good job Antonio! That is indeed a good distribution for the available pagers. Well done! Glad the guide helped :)
Which HUD Do you using ? And can you please put the download link ??
Hey Furkan Senturk! My HUD is a combination of _PocoHud3_ and _Additional PocoHud trackers._
The former is responsible for the ECM timers, as well as the floating timers for drills, time locks, hacks, pagers...
If you need help with installing mods, let me know! If you're already familiar with that, and just need the download links, here they are:

(1) Close PAYDAY 2, and go to your Steam Library.
(2) Right click on *PAYDAY 2* > _Properties..._
(3) Select the 3rd tab (LOCAL FILES), and click on _VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES..._

Wait, the secret appeared to you? I believed you need 4 people with all the necessary achievements. You can solo it?
Hey adrian! When The Secret was released, you needed a team of 4 Worthy players to interact with the painting and complete The Secret. However, shortly after the original release, Overkill updated it to allow players to complete the heist solo, or with any amount of players!
**
Thus, nowadays, if you're playing solo and you're Worthy, you can access The Secret by yourself! :)
