We have here a 1:18 scale model of the most interesting of the Ferrari Stable. First impression is of a well designed & built model. Paintwork is immaculate, as well as the excellent placement of the decals all over the body. The two doors open upwards, but could open wider. The front bonnet opens, but as it is the actual boot. The rear bonnet opens wide, but because it is of die-cast metal, it fails to remain up, so we have to assist it to remain open.
This model departs from other versions, in that parts are infact made from carbon fibre, just like the real FXX K. This model is a faithful reproduction, so one of the cool but strange features is the strange small air foils on the back. No, there are no parts missing on that airfoil, it is the same as the real Ferrari.
The interior in the real Ferrari, there is a quantity of carbon fibre even in the model itself. So overall, this is a good model, especially for those who collect Ferrari’s. The detail is a quality model. I give it a 4.75 / 5.00 Robin Finlay 02/07/2024.
