I think when wormwood blossoms bees should be attracted to him, and they will pollinate him and give him health and sanity, whilst increasing plant growth nearby. I also believe that he shouldn't suffer negative sanity effects from rain but instead a small health regen
I wish they made him more useful in DST. One of his huge Hamlet perks is that he's friends iwth plants and there are various plant monsters in DST that are neutral to him but hostile to every other character. If there were more plant monsters that would be cool. Other than that I agree with you and would love to see some more buffs. Have poop restore 4 health isntead of 2 or make the animation quicker so he doesn't have to heal himself for what feels like an hours traight
I completely agree but there should be a big downside for summer cause that would be overpowered. What I was thinking for summer was having wormwood withering during the season with the downsides coming from withering is slower speed lower max health and a huge sanity drain.

Zied Yee he is very good in dst. Early game spam out free farms, He has a cheap but effective heal, leaving healing foods for others while he eats cheap meatballs. And if you have a maxwell then you can easily go insane for him to get fuel. Eat some glommer goop to go insane, then just spam pine cones if you want to be sane again. Not to mention planting saplings gives him 10 sanity for only 5 deduction.

I saw this video like 40 minutes ago and I instantly went to go buy Wormwood. I had suspicions that he was good but Beard being amazing at describing characters, sold me on it instantly. Congratulations on such a convincing and awesome video.

Teaming up with Wolfgang will make it easy to keep Wolfgang at full hunger constantly with Wickerbottom's food generating abilities. Maxwell can read Wickerbottom's books, so Wickerbottom can just give him her books and Maxwell will read everything with literally zero downsides. Probably the most versatile character in all of DST.

Wormwood is my favorite to play as in Hamlet, and now I can play him in Don't Starve Together. We don't deserve Klei. They're too damn awesome for this world.

Here's a couple thoughts from those reading... Mushroom farms are REAL easy to keep going. (The sanity hit could be easily fixed by all the planting you'd be doing) Fuel for the fire is always open to em (as long as they keep their health up). Can those flowers be picked (by other players) when they've bloomed?
One thing worth noting regarding plants and sanity: Since you don't need to fertilize saplings, you can have an "Emotional Support Sapling" you can just dig up and replant whenever you need a sanity boost, since it's a net gain of +5 each time.
I found out you can use the ball peen hammer to harvest gold nuggets from the pig and bird statues the ones that have the ghosts, you usually get to gold nuggets

My first time playing Wormwood with my friends led to me planting half a million Eyeplants in and around the base while they were out chopping trees. They weren’t very happy xD
@@Gryphonzwing Well, they both can produce a lot of food and they both can produce a lot more food together. But typically, one wormwood with a bird cage is more than enough as long as you keep planting as much as you can, and one wicker is plenty any season with birds of the world + sleepy stories, or applied horticulture + berry bushes. The best most powerful teams are when they negate each others downsides. Woodie + maxwell is not a strong combo for instance. But wickerbottom + maxwell is. Which is why wortox + wormwood is better. Both covers each others downsides, rather than making their plus sides better.
Another difference between farms and planting them on the ground is that wild crops start to spoil as soon as they are ready for harvest. So you can't keep them indefinitely unlike farms.
Fun fact: Wormwood has lines for the long pig, which is a cut food item that would drop when you killed players, and would damage you when eaten, and technically every character has lines for it, but most of them are reused from Wilson
While playing on a server I found out that Wormwoods crops can rot if they are not picked. Unlike farms which never rot but can wither if intense heat is present.
I thought of a neat idea for wormwood, what if he could befriend tree guardian's. In my opinion this would be overpowered in my opinion, but to balance it, i would say around planting 15-30 trees. Near tree gaurdians of course. Befriended tree gaurdians will follow the player for 5-8 days, will help in combat, and to refresh the 5-8 days you need to plant 5-10 trees (i dont think anyone wants to go through 15-30 tree process again) the befriended tree gaurdian can drop pine cones (5-35% chance) and they give a passive sanity boost for wormwood.

I think you should be able to find seeds in the ground naturally like wood can play them natural still have to wait for them to grow but you don't have a farm it's good to find these wild version if they're add add it
In a team of 3+ I think he’d be very good. You can have huge harvests from seeds everyone hunger. Everyone else can do the chopping and he can do the mining and general base work and such.

The bramble suit is my favorite for taking out bee nests. You can just go right for the nest and all the bees die pretty much instantly.

I think you should be able to find seeds in the ground naturally like wood can play them natural still have to wait for them to grow but you don't have a farm it's good to find these wild version if they're add add it
In a team of 3+ I think he’d be very good. You can have huge harvests from seeds everyone hunger. Everyone else can do the chopping and he can do the mining and general base work and such.
