It is actually simple but more complicated than ancient devices. It is simple compared to devices that would be dependant on your stupid phones in order to operate. :) I hate phones.
I have just learned by reading manual that, when either heat or cool flashes, depending on the setup, sometimes it is a specifically set delay of 1 minute or so so to protect a device, cooling or heating that may have a compressor. The compressor needs a safety because, switching on command and off say, after a power outage, can damage a compressor. It is a delay safety feature built in the thermostat of about 1 minute delay before it actually activates.
Yes it does have a nice large readout area BUT other than the actual room temp, and maybe the temp set point, the font is sooo SMALL as to be unreadable without a magnifier.
I have a question! When you changed the Celsius, what does it have to be at to be cold! Right now the top number says 225 and the middle number is 30. BUT IT WONT GET COLD

Why did you hold the plus and minus buttons down at the same time @2:45 to change the temp when you only need to press the plus or minus to change it? You are confusing people.

My cool is flashing and has been since last night. I cut it off and on but the ac won’t turn back on

You are in the setup menu. Back out of it to the main display.

Thats odd, is it really 100 in that room? damn... does it say cool on? You could have other issues with your A/C system and not the thermostat
