Love hearing the sounds a fan makes - it’s almost like it’s personality! Like with the 80’s Super 9”, the rattles and motor fluctuation is unique to that fan
I agree! I think most avid collectors enjoy hearing the sounds of the fans. I guess the rattle does add character to the 9” Super! I plan on servicing the fan some time this year, so in the 2023 montage, it’ll hopefully be running smooth and quietly.
You should do one with music like you did before with Kevin McLeod music and a no music version. I miss your older portable fan collection videos with music.
I've used it a few times so far on low speed, mostly to circulate the air in the basement. But it definitely is way too powerful for any kind of indoor personal cooling lol.
What if they made a Super desk fan with a brass base and grills with black accents like the blades the motor housing and the badge? It will be the rarest Super fan ever designed.
i remember watching your videos, i got to say your the best fan youtuber i have seen in my life. Also question, can you try to get one of those blue galaxy fans?
Thanks for the kind words! I could try, but the Galaxy brand was predominantly sold in the US, not here in Canada, so they’re hard to come by. EBay is certainly an option but things are always overpriced there lol. The 70s 12” blue Super fan in the video is pretty much a Galaxy, just with a Canadian safety grille and a different brand name.
Yeah it does sound like it! Had to watch a couple YT videos of the sirens, and I can definitely hear the similarities. Speaking of siren analogies, the 30s 16” GE sounds like an air raid siren lol.
It’s very hard to find and I also haven’t been able to find any traces of information online. It was a regular fan sold at retail stores, but I guess not many were sold, or they were just sold for a short period of time.
Yep, I no longer have the Toshiba and the Westinghouse stand fan. The Following Fan is chilling in my workshop, but I ended up forgetting about it during filming lol. It'll be in the 2023 montage for sure though!
26:31 Honeywell should make this high velocity fan again. And I hope that Illumination makes Journey the Movie where Steve Perry and his bandmates go on a space adventure in their flying scarab vehicle and sing with their alien friends and stop trouble that comes their way. In the end, Journey and aliens rock and roll with their Don't Stop Believin!
I Love your videos super Man fan have a absolutely wonderful day good job have a super day have a great day have a nice day have a nice day have a awesome day have a cool day super Man fan
Yep, the reining king of Hunter fans! A 50lb cast iron fan definitely has a special presence among today's ceiling fans. The little 9" Super certainly needs help lol. It has dry bearings but I'm thinking some oil will fix that.
I was hoping that was the case! But unfortunately I don’t think that’ll happen. The ceiling joist spacing on the second floor is rather large at 24”, so a typical ceiling fan support brace won’t be able to support the weight of the Original when it’s extended to 24”. The Adirondack weighs much less, so it’s fine but it’d be dicey to put an Original in its place. So far it’s been hanging in the basement bedroom. Gotta do a video on it soon!
Can’t disagree. It has a brushed motor, so it generates more noise. The sound actually isn’t nearly as irritating in person. I guess the microphone emphasizes all of the “details” of the noise.

I’ve landed on the fan side of youtube and I couldn’t be happier, this is so endearing :)
Welcome to the “coolest” side of TH-cam! :)

I an loving how many vintage fans you got now. They all look amazing
Thanks! I think I'm leaning towards vintage fans more and more each year! Seems like a common path for all of us collectors lol.
Man i love vintage fans even those torcans and GE's
I have to agree!
1930s general electric 16 is my personal favorite just becuase sounds like an air raid siren
That's the exact analogy I was thinking!
This is how my next fan montage is going to be done, but shorter time with fans put together based on category.
Nice! Looking forward to it.
You should do one with music like you did before with Kevin McLeod music and a no music version. I miss your older portable fan collection videos with music.
love their gold blades
Same, the golden hue of brass is beautiful!
Have you used a Lasko Wind Machine Fan?
The newer Wind Machines? I tested one that was on display at Lowe’s a few years ago, but I never owned one myself.
Love those startup sounds!
Also, I have a question, do you usually find fans getting thrown out in the trash?
Occasionally I do come across fans in the trash. Most tend to be in poor condition so I don’t pick them up.
Honestly, that Patton is the king of fans.
Can’t disagree! It’s probably the most powerful fan I currently have.
@@TheSuperFanMan Do you use it for the summer or is it TOO powerful?
I've used it a few times so far on low speed, mostly to circulate the air in the basement. But it definitely is way too powerful for any kind of indoor personal cooling lol.

@@TheSuperFanMan Oh
@@TheSuperFanMan Im making all these fans in roblox lol
Am I the only one who thinks the motor whine of the Garrison 6” fan sounds like a Thunderbolt 1000T siren? Haha
Yeah it does sound like it! Had to watch a couple YT videos of the sirens, and I can definitely hear the similarities.
Speaking of siren analogies, the 30s 16” GE sounds like an air raid siren lol.
Not bad at all! Not sure which is one is better? I do like listening to the sound of fans but I also like listening to NCS Music to.
Thanks! It’s all a matter of personal preference. I personally like both; maybe the No Music Edition slightly more if I had to pick one.
Some of these sound like absolute powerhouses!
They sure are! When some fans manage to shake the camera, you know they’re packing some serious power.
A SUPER CHROME FAN I searched it on google and it seems to not exist, is this fan just rare ir is it custom
I like fan grilles like that with the rombus look
It’s very hard to find and I also haven’t been able to find any traces of information online. It was a regular fan sold at retail stores, but I guess not many were sold, or they were just sold for a short period of time.
Luck do you plan on getting a twin diamond Robins and myers
If I ever come across one for a reasonable price, perhaps.
Where's Westinghouse stand fan, Toshiba 20" air circulator and Following Fan stand fan?
he got rid of the *"toshiba"* not sure about the other 2 though
@@hitachifansandmore Makes sense
Yep, I no longer have the Toshiba and the Westinghouse stand fan. The Following Fan is chilling in my workshop, but I ended up forgetting about it during filming lol. It'll be in the 2023 montage for sure though!
what happened to both of them
I sold them in a neighbourhood sale.

in 28th december 2023, make a teaser fan collection of 2023
It's too early to decide which day the teaser for the 2023 montage will be released, but it will definitely be around the 28th of December!
Sea breeze turbo P-T Sounds like a Decot Model 12 Siren
What Tornado siren on the super jet fan
FS STL-10 On The Super Jet Fan

lemme guess
original replaces Adirondack

how many ceiling fans do you have uninstalled and what are they
36:29 mi piacciono quelli a soffitto😊
Glad you liked them!
Me too, I also like the ceiling ones, because it spins 200 to 800rpm and the sound is really quiet! 36:30
12:15
2 weeks later!
Yep!
2:36.. easily the most annoying and ear destroying fan on the market
