Great introductory with the music but I am glad that it stopped when you started to work because I wanted to listen to the banging, scratches etc. well done work
I really profoundly appreciate the fact that you listened to the feedback and re-uploaded the video. Instead of just saying "deal with it" like some might, you took it constructively. Awesome job. I didn't exactly care for the sound effects either, but I would never try to deter any creator from experimenting. Personally I think videos like these are at their best at an almost raw state. The artistry and lack of noise doesn't need to be compensated with background sounds or music, (however I think there's nothing wrong with intro music) but of course it's all up to preference. Keep up the amazing work friend 👏
Your site is the best restoration site on TH-cam. You let us see each step, do things in new and interesting ways, and add some humor! i love how thorough you are. So calming to see a broken thing put right. I watch right before bed and you've helped with my insomnia! Great job!
The presentation on this restore is on another level. I appreciate that you not only take the time to beautifully restore these parts the proper way you also are honing in on your cinematography skills. Really enjoy this channel. Keep them coming!
Of course I clicked the like button, you've shown us that our opinion is more important for you than the views itself, I am really proud of you, I wish there were more people like you 👌👌👌
Wow, thanks for reuploading. I've never seen a content provider do something so quick. Most will wait days or just ignore you all together. Much respect.
Love it! My parents had a very similar one, same size, same color, when they married in 1973. When i was very little, it was my fan, since my parents bought a bigger one to themselves. Its name was Fracote (weaky) because its wind was near nothing... you did a great job on this restoration 👍
I believe these restoration guys on youtube are an amazing kind of people. Not only saving history and showing everyone how its done, but ive barely seen channels listen to subscribers and Interact with them as much as restoration channels do (I get someone with 30mil cant respond to every single thing)
We love your work tysy. So much we need to hear every beat and bang an sand an spray 😝. I agree with everyone that the sound is what adds the pazazz. It's calming. But your work is always great.
Thanks for listening to the feedback! The fan turned out fantastic! I don't know if I like more this one for being closer to the original look, or the previous one for the polished metal finish. You did a wonderful job with both, they look beautiful!
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful video sir. I liked the ending. It's a little funny seeing the refurbished piece presented in such a dramatic way, but you did such a good job that it was cool.
Абсолютный кайф смотреть ролики по восстановлению старых предметов. Отдельная благодарность за отсутствие музыки в процессе, так как звук работы, как некий ASMR-сеанс по успокоению и расслаблению. 😁🙏🖒
I can sum this up with a single word; "beautiful." Congratulations on another wonderful restoration. When I look back at your earlier videos, every aspect of your work has come so far. Be proud of your work.
Camera angles and perspectives in this video are excellent. As well are the reverse shots showing off your tee shirt collection. Thanks for another great video.
Muito interessante que capricho, além do mais da calma ver teu canal. Só não entendo como pode alguém dar deslike? Não tem outro motivo que não seja inveja. Parabéns!!
Nicely done, sir. I was surprised to see that the fan only had one speed, on. I would have thought that even older fans like this one had more than just one speed. Always enjoy your videos and thanks for sharing with us.
Just realised you re-uploaded it. Didn't expect that to be honest, but was a really good impression you took the word of your subscribers (including me) LOL. Thanks for all your wonderful restorations! Don't forget the giveaway proposal...
Best rewatch ever! :D Thank you for all your hard work on every restoration you do. I alway look forward to seeing your videos because its amazing seeing old objects have a second chance at life :)
Honestly I'd pay good money for this fan in particular. I would have never noticed it walking by an antique store, but somehow in this video it's beautiful. And those old fans are rugged as hell and have pretty good air flow for the most part. These uploads are getting so good I'm just so damned proud to be a subscriber. Nice work as always.
To be fair, we can see he tried his best with all the camera shots and all. But I missed the cleanliness of the "usual" content. One thing I missed too is... he normally doesn't throw things he'll use, treating every piece like a treasure, this did not happen in this one. (I really like his content tbh)
I think it's really well done. The moving camera shots were really smooth. He clearly put a lot of work into it and has some skill at it. That said, it distracts me from just mellowly watching it. I appreciate the effort, but improved production values weren't really necessary. I think he actually was making a little fun of this himself, by doing all those "I'm going to carefully pick up a bolt with a tweezers 20 times" scenes. Great job in making it, but my vote is for clean style focused on the process you're doing.
Yeah. I appreciate the effort that this takes but I hope it doesn't become the norm. One of the reasons I still come back to this channel is because he doesn't do those elaborate camera shots. I'm here for the restoration, not the cinematography.
The other upload with sound effects was taken down literally as I was watching the last couple of minute 😅 great work btw! (Also like this without soundeffects better)
Great video. I watched the first one, and although I don't recall any music or anything, it is only because I probably turned it down. I much prefer this one with the natural shop sounds. Thanks!
I was honestly surprised by how clean the small parts got just tumbling in sand for a few hours. I'm going to remember that trick. Also, a question: Is it possible that the small felt pieces behind the logo are to hold perfume?
I don't *think* so but you may be right. If that *was* the idea, I think Calor would have made it more easily accessible, rather than securing it with "bendy" tabs, inside the guard. The tabs would break, if used too much. It could be worth trying though, maybe a few drops of essential oil.😁

Just a question but where do you buy/find items like this and what do you do after u restored them? And i like your video’s greetings from belgium 😁
When will you upgrade to powder coating and ditch the spray paint?
@Andrew Luyten these things are bought at flea markets. It's simple

@@TysyTube You're welcome! I also forgot to mention that I've noticed your editing and camera work has improved quite dramatically! ✌️✌️
Now I understand! I was sure I watched this video during lunch time, so I didn't understand why it says "uploaded 3 hours ago", LOL!

Pretty ironic that the fan brand name is "Calor" which in spanish means "heat".
Also a major supplier of gas, and the fan is, of course, electric.😁
Same in Italian! We say “calore”
Well, you turn on a fan to make air cooler, so to protect you from heat :)
Same in portuguese, “calor”
And, ya burn "calories"
Word origin: "calor"
Latin: for "heat"

Not only because you are the best restoring everything that needs it, also because you listen your followers, you are #1!!
This is what you call quality content. He listens to the fans... as he's fixing the fans.
Lol
Super vidéo 👍

Can we appreciate how he listened to us and erase the background sounds?, By the way, I love your restorations, follow like that, and have a good day!
Boo the music makes it impossible to sit through
Loved it....you are a very cool youtuber. Thx for listening/reading our opinion. I am impressed how you did react quick. This made my day!!!
😘
He deleted a lot of negative comments ... so...
@@simonefavilli deleting negative comments is needed to keep the mind okay. You see them once and then they're gone

Toujours aussi bien et très reposant , bravo et merci
I love retro items restored as they were 👍🏻👍🏻 Id buy this little fan from you , it’s gorgeous ❤️
I'm amazed over your skills of putting washers and nuts on bolts with pliers. I could never do that. You certainly have a steady hand. 👍
