Yeah - sometimes even if it’s not a major cooler or bad beat, there are just a ton of tough spots or bad runouts that make it super hard to win in that particular session

👍I appreciate this >"running hot" vids. This session mirrors my last 30 hours of deck brutality. Little to start with, miss, and/or up against better at far above variance. 🤷♂️ This perspective + taking notes of my hands confirms my confidence in solid play despite. 😅
Some vlogs seem to only & always have & hit the goods. Granted, I also don't have the luxury of getting TX action calls when I do hit either 🤑
Playing early vs NITs is easier but small pots. Annoying playing late vs splashy LAGs during such a poor run of variance. 🤞🤞 🍀for simply ave cards tomorrow 💪😎
Yeah I feel ya - I think vloggers often just want to show the highlights to avoid being boring, but it’s important to show when things don’t go your way, otherwise it can paint a very unrealistic viewpoint of poker

I do appreciate you showing a session like this..... because I always wonder how often do vloggers have sessions like this.... because it happens to me 1 or 2 tines a week.... but I always see you guys getting "premiums" ... so thk u
Yeah, just for reference - my winrate for poker sessions hovers around 65-67%, so around 2/3 sessions are winning and 1/3 of sessions are losing
But this loss felt pretty bad cuz there were just no ups beside that one hand haha

In the KhQh hand, doesn’t the middling board hit your range better? Since you’re later in the action than both players isn’t it more likely you’d have pocket 7s and 9s in your range while your opponents are more likely to have face cards?

Hmm - I don’t necessarily agree even though it didn’t work out this time, I think balancing your range with suited connectors has its benefits. The last play I’ll admit had a bit of tilt behind it
A great example of tilt affecting your better judgement by the end, despite being an awesome player. Thats what makes you human and more relatable to 95% of the poker folk here, as opposed to the uber High rollers that teach and play from the nosebleed levels none of us will ever be at.

Hahaha that’s fair enough - I’ve put in a good amount of hours in both games, but my hourly rate seems to be better at the regular 5/5/10. Though I will say it’s getting tougher these days

You don’t think it’s possible they had a smaller pocket pair when you had KK on the 433 board?
It’s definitely a possibility, but people don’t often raise an EP better on a single board bomb pot without a strong hand. And on this board, it’s wayyy too easy for someone to have a single 3, so a raise would be a pretty massive overplay, given a 3 almost never folds to a raise

I have no idea of what sort of bankroll you have behind this, so I only hope that this was less of a real blow and more of a mental blow. We all play our C or even D game when tilt shows its brutal face. I will not berate, but I really hope you look for signs of when to abandon ship, next time this comes around. Odds of rebounding after the massive hits halfway through the session are slim and would require some sort of miracle. But who am I to tell, best of luck. At least posting comments help the video getting more exposure to help your channel ;-)

Thanks for showing the bad sessions so I don't feel like it's just me that runs so bad. I lost with pocket Aces 3 x in a row at different tables in a 2 hour time period. Then I went home and it was better the next time. But does constantly winning inspire your sad singing in the shower and dark eyeliner. I think not. Your videos are hilarious and useful for poker lessons. :-)
