That fold against Kings was solid
Thanks!
Agreed
That guy angled the hell out of you holy shit I would have been pissed 😡
Hahah he tried but it didn’t work 😂
Honestly would’ve called the floor
you took that in stride. super pro
Thanks guys
@@henrywatson9897 don't be a Karen
Good call when he angled you... It makes more sense he's trying something desperate than he's being stupid and turning over his hand early
Totally - the more I thought about it, it strengthened my own confidence about calling even more
That was a wild move. Borderline unethical.
Plus, the KQ hand was clearly on his mind. I’m surprised he tried to bluff against Brantzen again.
Can’t believe you didnt make more out of that angle he pulled (what a piece of sh*t) 🤯
Agreed, I probably wouldve folded AK there
I like the angle. It's not cheating in this case, i think ... it was smart! I must try it sometime.
your reads (mostly) bulletproof as always dawg, nice to catch vids from you whenever u grace us with them
Thanks for watchin!! 🙏
13:25 "WE ARE SO BACK!" type energy. Arms raised, chains broken.
Lol you cooked that guy with that AK call. That was great
Hahaha not gonna lie it was pretty satisfying 😂
Damn that dude tried to angle you. Nice call
Thanks 🙏
After watching all the poker vloggers ur the guy man, love ur contestant not just poker , comedy n sense of humour love that. On top of that lot to learn as well.
@@laxmanthapa640 thank you so much - that really means a lot to me 🙏 glad you enjoy it!
I think the crux here is that large bet sizings are just incredibly nutted at low stakes poker. Like the 4b from UTG+1 vs your JJ should just be an easy fold. You can even flat JJ in position sometimes then as well.
Also the K high hero call, I think a raise is better. You have all overpairs that are now boats (AA/KK/QQ). And that puts a ton of pressure on all their small full houses. It would suck to call with K high and lose to A high (A4) or a small full house, which I think he's repping a lot of the time.
Yeah I agree - I should’ve folded the JJ for sure. I was stubborn and stupid, and that’s mainly what the title was referring to. And yeah the king high hero call, a raise def would’ve worked, but I honestly thought king high was gonna be good 😂
The content is great as Always. Love the vids 🫶🏻
Thanks!
good to get sponsors. congrats!
"Weird move dude fake KQ". He's peeping dirty player bro. Remember his face bro!
Nice video btw,
Haha thanks - yeah definitely someone to be careful around
Happy to see you in higher spirits today!
Thanks my man!
Highlight reel energy we love you Brantzen WHOOP
Ayyyy thanks so much ♥️
You had an Ace high flush, a possible boat was there, but he had two pair with K kicker and calls an all-in... lol.
He was a non believer 👍
That angle with k high is dirty. You dont see it as much anymore but there will always be low lifes.
Ye but I’m glad I sniffed it out
Love the honesty with the first JJ lost lol.
Gotta show when I make the wrong decisions as well 😞👍
That fold against kings was unreal and if you folded AK against QT straight, I was about to call you poker god when I run into you at the felt. Good vid. Keep it up! 200k subs is right around the corner.
This where know thy opponent is crucial. Was villain a nit? Or maniac? Pretty much 50/50 call fold in this spot at this sizing n choose based on his i profiled villain as nit or maniac.
Hahahah I wanted to fold with the AK so bad, but I just thought with the line I took it would just be wrong 😂
Honestly being stoked about winning a huge pot to get back even is hilariously relatable lmao
Bros channel is underrated
Good stuff!! Keep up the good work. !!Peace!!
Thanks!
I see a Brantzen vlog I click like
That’s my man
Neeed two vids a weeek!! Love your videos
Too kind sir - and I would but the editing takes so long 😂
Hire an editor and pump out the vids ! Lol
Good video, a great example that you play the player and not your hand.
Totally - in live cash there’s so much exploitative play that comes into play
Homie with KT saying 2 pair as a bluff/speech play was so baller 😂😂😂 ngl I can't even hate, he did it before ur bet went out and u sniffed it out. Nice call!
Thanks! Yeah I had no hate for him either 😂 He had nothing to lose - he saw that I was right about to make the call anyway so might as well try the last ditch effort, but yeah ive never seen that move before! Definitely had me thinking
@@BrantzenPokercan’t believe your ok with him trying that, that’s a piece of sh*t move, glad you caught him out on it 👍
Nice explanations,win.
Thanks 🙏
Sponsors??? Moving up now
Wooo wooo 🥳
I think that angler move, IF he actually verbalized his hand way stronger than it is as you are making your decision, should be a forfeit hand. I dont how it is in California, maybe table talk anything is allowed and part of game........but in these parts table talk has limits. And he definitely stepped over it.
Does anyone else love brantzon poker? ❤
YOOO you’re so fast 🏃♂️
Only fast enough to be in time for the king.
I was also the first veiw of this vid I think.
@@Pokerstariswahtilove ♥️♥️
the fact you called the kings is insane lol
Hahaha channeled my inner negreanu
Was a good call but only 2 hands it could really be or at least “telling the story” so not that crazy
I had a younger Asian gentleman do the same thing to me at the same casino. I wonder if it was the same guy....
Oh man! And no I don’t think my guy was asian
wow well played
Mate do you know about Ty Woodford
How did villain turn over his cards and you didn’t see it?
He didn’t table them he flipped em over while holding them and he was on the opposite side of the table so I couldn’t see em exactly
@@BrantzenPoker Villain is wild for that
6:40 AK, there are two ways to play a hand:
#1) easy for the opponent
2) hell hard for the opponent
The way you played AK was #1.
Now, the #2: limp! Wait for someone to raise behind, ($30), and then hammer it! (180). On flop rip It off!! $579! Let's see if he is gonna risk his entire stack on an open ender. Even if he calls and wins, he is going to bathroom right after the hand.
That sure is one way to play it
You’re an artist
Says the king 👑
So which hand are you burning money??
Im sorry you said he is agressive so you make the call with 88s , standard to set mine flop is dry and u said he is agressive meaning he has over cards no pairs more likely in his range than 10s+ and you fold to the turn 9 when hes all in?
When it is 3 ways to the flop I expect less overall bluffs, and still, he’s aggressive, but not just like a wild maniac. But also easier to see the call when you know what he had
Great Video
Thanks!
lol I'm never folding the 88 after seeing the video of what that guy looks like. Let's just say he doesn't look like a typical old man coffee.
You should’ve taken control of the hand with the pocket 8s. You were to passive
By 4 betting preflop?
Wow those hoodies are just generic brand with a cheap logo for 45 bucks, that is wild
Another great video.
Thanks so much my man 🙏
nice vid .Id rather watch this than Mariana at this point...😊
Ah thanks! Much appreciated - Mariano is one of the best
Love the video
Thanks! ♥️
That session was a dog fight!
Totally!
New Sub ...GG
GG 👍 and thanks for the sub!
Brantzen baybeeeeeeee
Ayyyyy
U r the best 😌❣️
Aw appreciate you!
You should have raised on the river on that last hand.
I disagree quite a bit actually - I think all worse hands fold, and all equal or better hands call
@@BrantzenPoker Yeah but with certain call happy players raising 3x on river will get all pocket underpairs to the queen to call. I mean if he really had a strong queen or better wouldn't he be betting bigger on the river?
@@Jolly-Green-Steve Any queen would chop with any other queen, and if you were betting a queen for value on that river, in theory you should go small. Betting larger gets no value from worse hands
@@BrantzenPoker Dude that guy would have called a raise with Jacks because you didn't bet the turn come on now.
@@Jolly-Green-Steve personally I highly doubt that
Fun to not hear the words polarized, merged, range, balance, etc every three seconds.
Nice cut away to Brandon.
First hand guy overbet jams a brick and you just assume that’s how he play the nuts?
Overbets in low stakes are pretty heavily leaned towards value in my experience
Let me algorithm comment before watching. I may be back
First 10
Let’s gooo
First
Insane speed
It’s so hard to watch your style of play. Every hand is played so weird. Super aggressive pre with JJ but passive and weak af post flop on most hands
Hahah a big part of it depends if I’m going multiway to a flop
Brantzen, I know you are a 5 5 or 5 5 10 NL specialist but once in awhile, can you also play and create content on limit holdem? My suggestion, for a solid, disciplined, and skillful player like you will do good 25 50 limit holdem at hustler casino. I know it's less popular, exciting for content creation but I just thought it'd be very lucrative for brantzen.
To be quite honest I’ve never even played a single hand of limit 😅
