I just remember it being really hard and thinking "Well everywhere said this game was going to be hard" so I just gritted my teeth and dealt with it.
So I just slugged my way through Quelaag today.. after failing miserably in my first attempt.. with a +5 Divine Claymore.. And now I see you beating her with a +0 battle axe and the soul level probably close to what I had when I was still fighting the Taurus Demon.. /facepalm.

I understand where you're coming from, and I've seen the term "exploit" used incorrectly so many times when it comes to certain little tricks and tips in games. The Centipede Demon for example, it's possible to glitch the boss into a wall and kill it without landing a single attack, that was never intended, so I call that a glitch (only happened a few times, once when I tried to make it happen). Exploiting something just means to take advantage of the resources available to use, cheap or not.
Yes it does, make sure he does the burst animation before running back, if you don't, he will throw fireballs at you instead of jumping iirc. If you die, you have to run back to where you picked up the set, even though he's already aggressive.
Then I'll reinforce my Estus Flask to +2, and if Rhea isn't there with her companions at this point, I'll make a beeline for the Capra using the Undead Burg shortcut, pass by the female merchant, and head back to Firelink for some humanity draining. After that, I'll kill the Bell Gargoyles, ring the first bell (second for me), and warp back to Firelink to collect the Dingy set and Black Eye Orb before heading towards Sen's Fortress. While in here I'll collect the Covetous Gold Serpent Ring.

I'm happy to share. Although I might need two or three comments to explain it all. I left the Red Tearstone Ring because I'll be collecting the New Londo Ruins Firekeeper soul and killing Ingward at some point to farm Darkwraiths, which can be killed with a riposte from a Fire Halberd +5 quite easily. So I'll collect the Red Tearstone Ring at the end of one of those runs, then Homeward Bone back to the Firelink bonfire for minimal delays. I'll stop farming Darkwraiths when a Dark Hand drops.
This is a crazy good quick start guide, thank you. I just tried it for the first time today, but it took me 2 hours because I choked on Qualaag a few times. I also forgot the Wolf ring and I was short a few Green shards so I ended up with a Halberd fire +3. But I'm lvl 33 now and farming the ghosts past the crest door. Great guide and skills, thanks again.
After Sen's Fortress is cleared, I'll proceed to Anor Londo, kill Lautrec, and obtain the Lordvessel without further delay (opening only the major shortcuts). I'll collect the Favor armour set, then warp to Firelink, return Anastacia's soul, and proceed to Blighttown to collect a third Firekeeper Soul. From here I can clear out the Great Hollow Crystal Lizards with 410 item discovery for a better chance at a Titanite Slab drop, before proceeding to the Daughter of Chaos bonfire.
When it comes to Faith / Dexterity hybrids, I tend to use the Scythe found in Sen's Fortress for Divine +10, instead of the Great Scythe. The reason for this is, the Scythe has higher base damage, and because elemental ascensions have split damage, it's generally a good idea to choose a weapon that has higher base damage for PvE. The only times I use a Divine +10 weapon, is for the skeletons that are revived in the Catacombs by a necromancer, and the skeletons in the Nito boss fight.
There is a reason I left those things, mainly because of the time taken, or because I had other plans for them later in the game. Not killing Pinwheel for example, if I had cleared the Catacombs, Rhea and her companions won't appear at Firelink for me to drain humanity from them with a Dark Hand, and that's about 20 humanity I don't want to miss out on. If you like, I can explain my reasoning for leaving the other things you mentioned as well?
The crash course tutorial was made during the days of patch 1.05, so it's a little outdated now (Dark Wood Grain Ring nerf), but this is generally a good start for strength or quality builds. dexterity builds won't benefit from the Black Knight weapons, but the souls gained can be used to level Dexterity, which can be put to good use with the Falchion (on Wanderer set) found in Blighttown. For newer players I'd recommend choosing a couple of weapons you like, and basing your build around those.
That's exactly what the Fire Halberd +5 was for; farming Darkwraiths. The first thing I did after this video, was went to New Londo Ruins, collected the Firekeeper Soul, took the Composite Bow to snipe Ingward from the stairs (for the Key to the Seal), opened the floodgates, and starting farming to my heart's content. A single riposte from a Fire Halberd +5 is enough to kill the Darkwraiths, and 13,200 souls per every three to four minute run isn't bad within the first 45 minutes of starting.
I had to check through the subtitles to see what you were referring to. I think there's a bit of a misunderstanding here, because I wasn't saying that I didn't know the Anastacia death triggers, I was merely stating that someone had said it wasn't possible to ring the second bell without triggering her death. Somewhere between patch 1.07 and patch 1.09 those triggers have changed ever so slightly, so what was accurate at the time of this video, may no longer hold true now.
I agree, I find the first half of the game to offer a lot more since working out ways to really power up early. Using a very similar method to what I've shown in this video, I tend to go for a +15 weapon in about the same amount of time. It seems like you already know, but for anyone who doesn't, this video is less about how powerful my equipment ended up, and more about how much I could obtain (and level up) while still making progress in the shortest time possible.
At 32:21 the necromancer does walk back in, but its when he walks out a second time that he falls to his doom. In case you wanted to know. Superb video!

Holy Hell I was able to do this! I am a below average player so I never expected to get past Mildred right off the bat. But I did! Queelag took me only two tries! I went in expecting to give up but I'm glad I gave it a go. Now my dex/faith build is off to a great start. Thanks for the vid. Only thing I did different was suicide run for the astora straight sword before hitting blighttown.
i tried this and the most difficult thing for me was the quellag fight,mildred is just so dumb,but i only did this run once it was so boring,i never wanted to do this again and now i sit here,wating that someone summons me at quellag,for the easy souls^^
as 'safety net' I tend to pick up the ring of sacrifice below the aqueduct so I can retrieve the bloodstain more safely, just in case I slip somewhere. Also during any catacombs run you can quit and reload at any time to reset the skeleton's positions if they followed you to a hairy spot. all of which delay you slightly of course, just a thing to keep in mind in case s.o. isn't very confident at this.
you are my hero. starting a low level build and have been stuck trying to figure out how to start. love the halberd so thx. now just gotta try to kill quelaag with a non upgraded battle axe.
Also works with Divine Weapons +5 if you are running a Faith build, but would require you to defeat the Moonlight Butterfly. The materials are the same though! Great video! Keep up the good work!
It is possible to catch the Ceaseless Discharge in the exploit, but it requires going back to the altar with the corpse that help the Gold-Hemmed set, waiting for the boss to come all the way back to his starting position, then going through the whole process again.
For faith builds, I recommend starting with Astora's Straight Sword. You can pick it up in the Valley of Drakes. I often start a new character with a few suicide runs at the beginning, directly after coming to the Firelink Shrine and spending the few souls I have. Then I get the Firekeeper Soul in New Londo and the Sword/Shield in Valley of Drakes. A faith character has a easy start with that sword until you can craft Divine Weapons.
+merathy Once you take the time to learn the layout, it's easier. I struggled with them for months before I started recognizing every corner and corridor.

Did you see that big sleeping dragon the guy in the video passed? If you grab the other item by it's feet you'll get Astora's straight sword, it's a divine weapon so it does alot of extra damage to skeletons and also keeps them from coming back to life without having to kill the necromancers. You have to have 14 faith to use it, but most classes start with at least 8 faith so it's not to hard to get it up to 14. Also having the wolf ring, dark wood grain ring, and balder/eagle shield helps
I was initially intending to pick up the Elite Knight set on my way to the Wolf Ring, but decided against picking it up at the last second, which would have been heard if not for my broken microphone. I was commenting the entire time while recording this video, and after I finished what I thought was a video and audio recording, I played the audio back and just heard crackling noises.
Good video, I'm gonna start doing this when I start builds. Though that boss fight was bad, ya had so many chances to end her faster. When she's using her furysword just stick to the side of her spider face and hack at her then just roll away after a few hits
Isn't the gold knight that appears when you ring the gargoyle bell the one that kills the firekeeper? The firekeeper stayed alive throughout my entire run as long as i killed the gold knight even though i did both triggers
Another thing when I start on my heavy armor characters is kill Infested barbarians (usually with magic or parry-riposte combos) for dung pies to use on Havel on the way to Blighttown. Also, I grab the Elite Knight set.
It's when you collect the three Firekeeper Souls from the Undead Parish, New Londo Ruins, and Blighttown. I just finished doing a quick test to re-confirm this, by doing a suicide run for the Firekeeper Soul in Blighttown with a new character. Anastacia was still there, so I collected the Firekeeper Soul from New Londo Ruins and suicided. She was still there.
What you need to do is upgrade your weapons, go to the depths where the butcher is cutting meat and you'll find an ember to upgrade weapons from +5 up to +10, then if you can sneak into new londo you can get one to upgrade to +15, or you can just use fire/lightning weapons like this video shows. If you have high strength the best thing you could do is beat the wolf sif and get the greatshield of artorias, you need 34 STR but it's the best shield in the game, it even blocks bleed/poison/toxic!
For what I have tested, Lautrec kills Anastasia as soon as you obtain your 3rd Fire Keeper Soul, which by playing as intended would be the one in Blightown, but I haven't tested changing orders to prove it 100%
I go for Pinwheel first so I can get Rite Of Kindling & hope for Mask Of The Child for stamina recovery. After that, I go for the blacksmith, level the scythe then go for Gravelord Sword & then for Quelaag. That's just my preference.
Ayriak I can't speak for everyone, but as a long time Souls player I find that there are a few "set" things I do for each character build, almost like a habit. *Great job with the text BTW, didn't miss 'commentary' a bit.
Strangely, the Halberd has a unique moveset, different from all of the other Halberds. It has a spear-like thrusting attack as it's R1/RB attack, rather than the overhead swing of most Halberds. Very fast recovery time when Two handing. Lucerne is one of the slowest Halberds, with lower range, yet makes up for it with higher damage and all attacks dealing Thrust damage. It all comes down to personal preference in the end.
Gonna use some of this when I start the Remastered run. Most likely go with a Bastard Sword or something simple yet underused so I might need to get a bit more lucky with the farming part. Still a nice run for 30 minutes. Alot of boss kills and souls collected. While still saving those area's for exploration and completion later.
New Londo Ruins was the area I went to after this video, and because there were a few things that I wanted from the area, it made little sense to add time on, for something I'd eventually be passing by anyway.
Well that's not entirely true, I tested this several months ago during patch 1.05, and again over the last few days to reaffirm that there are two ways of triggering Anastacia's death. The first is by ringing both bells. The second is by collecting the three Firekeeper souls from the Undead Parish, New Londo Ruins, and Blighttown. Meeting either of these requirements (regardless of whether or not you free Lautrec), will result in him escaping from his cell, and killing Anastacia.
If I had gone to the Pinwheel earlier, it would have set me back slightly as I knew I wanted to ascend a Halberd to Fire, and not just to +0 either. When it comes to Quelaag and Ceaseless Discharge, it wouldn't have made much of a difference if I had a Fire +0 weapon or not, which is one of the reasons why I took that route first.
Note that him saying "not fast rolling is worse than having no armor" only applies to the quelaag fight, in other boss fights like 4 kings and manus having light armor is nearly suicide for new player's who don't have the dodge timings and invincibility frames perfected. The best thing to do against quelaag is to go to that big sleeping dragon you saw in the video in valley of the drake's and quickly grab the items by his feet, one of them is the draogn crest shield which blocks 90% fire damage.
Ah, that's because I didn't collect the Firekeeper Soul in Blighttown, or clear out the Great Hollow intentionally. When I have the ability to warp, getting to the Great Hollow from the Firelink bonfire would take roughly the same amount of time as getting to the Great Hollow from the Daughter of Chaos bonfire.
I had exactly the same problem during my first run and also was about level 120-130 when I first beat the game. I felt like the worst Dark Souls-player but guess what: I'm doing a pretty succesful SL1-run now :) This game just takes time and helpful video's like this one. Don't panic, don't give up: you'll get there ;)
When you kill a necromancer (the guy who lobs fireballs at you), the skeletons in the vicinity will no longer auto-rez. The skeletons in the Nito boss fight also auto-rez, because they're within proximity of the lord of the dead, unless you kill them with a divine weapon.
Anastacia's death is triggered by ringing either the Parish and Blighttown Bells one after another, or ringing the Parish Bell and collecting the Blighttown Firekeeper Soul.
As a less experienced player, is taking the time to get the drake sword before doing that run is worth it? I feel like I wouldn't be able to defeat Quelaag with at least a better weapon.

The intention for this build wasn't to be a Dexterity based one, so I'll use an elemental ascension for the Great Scythe, most likely Chaos. However, if you are going to be levelling Dexterity to around the 40 range, then I'd definitely go with a Great Scythe +15.
great video but for some reason i cant enchant my halberd with fire! Anyways this actually takes a little longer because farming the green shards is a bust sometimes. Besides that the Quelag, Ceaseless, and fire keepers soul are a must even if you aren't going for the halberd. Thanks for video though it really helped when I was just learning to play.

By that point it's possible to have at least a Chaos +2 ascension, which should have attack rating of around 500 for a Halberd, so yes. You must have ten humanity on the counter to make full use of a Chaos weapon, of course.
The firelink fire keeper died when I had two or was it three keeper's souls once, and was alive other times. I forgot how to trigger that reaction, unfortunate. But I do believe the wiki sites explains it well.
Nice early run of the game. One question I have, why no grab the Cloranthy Ring from The Great Hollow? It's right near where you farm tit.shards with the slugs, and you don't encounter any enemies on the way. It would only add another couple minutes to this run. The Stamina regen stacks with the Grass Crestshield, and is very useful early on. The only reason I see why not to get it is for another early acquired ring, such as Havel's.
Also, if you are good enough at roll dodging you can easily get through New Londo ruins and get the parrying dagger and the crossbow in the same run, then homeward bone back to Firelink :)
Faith...? It would be a nice idea to increase str or dex later as well because one of the best things you can get from high faith is weapon buffs, Sunlight Blade,Darkmoon Blade, you can get gwyndolin's soul in the first NG and create Tin Darkmoon Catalyst to get the benefit from Crystal Magic Weapon and the sorcery too.
I try to keep all of my videos as spoiler free as possible, while most people who have been playing for weeks, months, or even years, know what causes Anastacia's death, I still see a lot of new players leaving comments on my videos. Which is why I refer to it as what triggers Anastacia's death, without going into details on how it happens.
You can collect just the New Londo one and save the Blighttown soul for when you're ready to make the trip to Anor Londo. Just don't kill Quelaag or collect the soul until you're really ready to go.
anastacia's death can be trigger if you save Lautrec from undead church, then he'll move to firelink shrine and sit in front of anastacia. if you ring the bell inside quelaag's domain or pickup a firekeeper soul which in the blighttown after that, Lautrec will kill anastacia and move to anor londo.
Depends, on one hand it's good for the PvP community because players don't have to grind for hours on end to achieve their desired build. On the other, this is something that can be used by low level grievers, and new players alike. If it's used by new players, they'll rely too much the equipment they never had to work towards, and they'll never find a way to challenge themselves in PvE. Overall, I think there is some benefit to this, but the potential it has offers more cons than pros.
Fire and Lightning paths are good for early game, so those who pull it off can devour bosses easily. But later in the game when player gets a lot of stats other paths are better in the long run. Lightning is still good tho. Nice job.

to me the hardest part is the farming green titanite it takes ages even with 10 humanity
How to become Death in half an hour.
From there, I'll reinforce my Estus Flask to +3, and clear the areas from the Firesage Demon through to the Bed of Chaos.
That's the idea anyway.
The attack rating on the Fire Halberd +5 was 396, split between 198 physical damage, and 198 fire damage.
No way in hell could I do that in 35 minutes without dying. That was awesome. Definitely more efficient then my method.
I always grab the fire keeper soul down with the Ghoasties. Just run right past em and roll as necessary. Try not to fall lol

i tried this and the most difficult thing for me was the quellag fight,mildred is just so dumb,but i only did this run once it was so boring,i never wanted to do this again and now i sit here,wating that someone summons me at quellag,for the easy souls^^

as 'safety net' I tend to pick up the ring of sacrifice below the aqueduct so I can retrieve the bloodstain more safely, just in case I slip somewhere. Also during any catacombs run you can quit and reload at any time to reset the skeleton's positions if they followed you to a hairy spot.
all of which delay you slightly of course, just a thing to keep in mind in case s.o. isn't very confident at this.

you are my hero. starting a low level build and have been stuck trying to figure out how to start. love the halberd so thx. now just gotta try to kill quelaag with a non upgraded battle axe.
Also works with Divine Weapons +5 if you are running a Faith build, but would require you to defeat the Moonlight Butterfly. The materials are the same though!

It is possible to catch the Ceaseless Discharge in the exploit, but it requires going back to the altar with the corpse that help the Gold-Hemmed set, waiting for the boss to come all the way back to his starting position, then going through the whole process again.
For faith builds, I recommend starting with Astora's Straight Sword. You can pick it up in the Valley of Drakes. I often start a new character with a few suicide runs at the beginning, directly after coming to the Firelink Shrine and spending the few souls I have. Then I get the Firekeeper Soul in New Londo and the Sword/Shield in Valley of Drakes. A faith character has a easy start with that sword until you can craft Divine Weapons.
I always get lost in the catacombs. This is a very nice video indeed. Thank you.

Got this game a couple of days ago and I have to say, your an amazing player.
Did you see that big sleeping dragon the guy in the video passed? If you grab the other item by it's feet you'll get Astora's straight sword, it's a divine weapon so it does alot of extra damage to skeletons and also keeps them from coming back to life without having to kill the necromancers. You have to have 14 faith to use it, but most classes start with at least 8 faith so it's not to hard to get it up to 14. Also having the wolf ring, dark wood grain ring, and balder/eagle shield helps
I was initially intending to pick up the Elite Knight set on my way to the Wolf Ring, but decided against picking it up at the last second, which would have been heard if not for my broken microphone. I was commenting the entire time while recording this video, and after I finished what I thought was a video and audio recording, I played the audio back and just heard crackling noises.
Good video, I'm gonna start doing this when I start builds. Though that boss fight was bad, ya had so many chances to end her faster. When she's using her furysword just stick to the side of her spider face and hack at her then just roll away after a few hits
Isn't the gold knight that appears when you ring the gargoyle bell the one that kills the firekeeper? The firekeeper stayed alive throughout my entire run as long as i killed the gold knight even though i did both triggers

Another thing when I start on my heavy armor characters is kill Infested barbarians (usually with magic or parry-riposte combos) for dung pies to use on Havel on the way to Blighttown. Also, I grab the Elite Knight set.
It's when you collect the three Firekeeper Souls from the Undead Parish, New Londo Ruins, and Blighttown. I just finished doing a quick test to re-confirm this, by doing a suicide run for the Firekeeper Soul in Blighttown with a new character. Anastacia was still there, so I collected the Firekeeper Soul from New Londo Ruins and suicided. She was still there.
I had my own way of doing it decently fast, but this one is somewhat better and more effective, thanks :DD
What you need to do is upgrade your weapons, go to the depths where the butcher is cutting meat and you'll find an ember to upgrade weapons from +5 up to +10, then if you can sneak into new londo you can get one to upgrade to +15, or you can just use fire/lightning weapons like this video shows. If you have high strength the best thing you could do is beat the wolf sif and get the greatshield of artorias, you need 34 STR but it's the best shield in the game, it even blocks bleed/poison/toxic!
For what I have tested, Lautrec kills Anastasia as soon as you obtain your 3rd Fire Keeper Soul, which by playing as intended would be the one in Blightown, but I haven't tested changing orders to prove it 100%
I go for Pinwheel first so I can get Rite Of Kindling & hope for Mask Of The Child for stamina recovery. After that, I go for the blacksmith, level the scythe then go for Gravelord Sword & then for Quelaag. That's just my preference.
Ayriak I can't speak for everyone, but as a long time Souls player I find that there are a few "set" things I do for each character build, almost like a habit. *Great job with the text BTW, didn't miss 'commentary' a bit.

Strangely, the Halberd has a unique moveset, different from all of the other Halberds. It has a spear-like thrusting attack as it's R1/RB attack, rather than the overhead swing of most Halberds. Very fast recovery time when Two handing. Lucerne is one of the slowest Halberds, with lower range, yet makes up for it with higher damage and all attacks dealing Thrust damage. It all comes down to personal preference in the end.
Gonna use some of this when I start the Remastered run. Most likely go with a Bastard Sword or something simple yet underused so I might need to get a bit more lucky with the farming part. Still a nice run for 30 minutes. Alot of boss kills and souls collected. While still saving those area's for exploration and completion later.
New Londo Ruins was the area I went to after this video, and because there were a few things that I wanted from the area, it made little sense to add time on, for something I'd eventually be passing by anyway.

Well that's not entirely true, I tested this several months ago during patch 1.05, and again over the last few days to reaffirm that there are two ways of triggering Anastacia's death.
The first is by ringing both bells. The second is by collecting the three Firekeeper souls from the Undead Parish, New Londo Ruins, and Blighttown. Meeting either of these requirements (regardless of whether or not you free Lautrec), will result in him escaping from his cell, and killing Anastacia.
What I want to know is how to restore her voice after killing Lautrec
If I had gone to the Pinwheel earlier, it would have set me back slightly as I knew I wanted to ascend a Halberd to Fire, and not just to +0 either. When it comes to Quelaag and Ceaseless Discharge, it wouldn't have made much of a difference if I had a Fire +0 weapon or not, which is one of the reasons why I took that route first.
Note that him saying "not fast rolling is worse than having no armor" only applies to the quelaag fight, in other boss fights like 4 kings and manus having light armor is nearly suicide for new player's who don't have the dodge timings and invincibility frames perfected. The best thing to do against quelaag is to go to that big sleeping dragon you saw in the video in valley of the drake's and quickly grab the items by his feet, one of them is the draogn crest shield which blocks 90% fire damage.
Ah, that's because I didn't collect the Firekeeper Soul in Blighttown, or clear out the Great Hollow intentionally. When I have the ability to warp, getting to the Great Hollow from the Firelink bonfire would take roughly the same amount of time as getting to the Great Hollow from the Daughter of Chaos bonfire.
That was interesting.
I usually just go with a reinforced club, it's much less trouble.
I had exactly the same problem during my first run and also was about level 120-130 when I first beat the game. I felt like the worst Dark Souls-player but guess what: I'm doing a pretty succesful SL1-run now :) This game just takes time and helpful video's like this one. Don't panic, don't give up: you'll get there ;)
When you kill a necromancer (the guy who lobs fireballs at you), the skeletons in the vicinity will no longer auto-rez. The skeletons in the Nito boss fight also auto-rez, because they're within proximity of the lord of the dead, unless you kill them with a divine weapon.
Anastacia's death is triggered by ringing either the Parish and Blighttown Bells one after another, or ringing the Parish Bell and collecting the Blighttown Firekeeper Soul.
I'm not too sure on that one. I'm playing on the PS3, with patch 1.07, so maybe it could be a difference in the platform and patch?

@ 24:15, you can actually fall off the edge and land in that canyon with the frog, skipping the fog wall and killing the tree-thing
As a less experienced player, is taking the time to get the drake sword before doing that run is worth it? I feel like I wouldn't be able to defeat Quelaag with at least a better weapon.

The intention for this build wasn't to be a Dexterity based one, so I'll use an elemental ascension for the Great Scythe, most likely Chaos. However, if you are going to be levelling Dexterity to around the 40 range, then I'd definitely go with a Great Scythe +15.
great video but for some reason i cant enchant my halberd with fire! Anyways this actually takes a little longer because farming the green shards is a bust sometimes. Besides that the Quelag, Ceaseless, and fire keepers soul are a must even if you aren't going for the halberd. Thanks for video though it really helped when I was just learning to play.
Try to focus on your enemies' hands, not weapon. You're deflecting their hands. Seems to work wonder for most people I tell to.

By that point it's possible to have at least a Chaos +2 ascension, which should have attack rating of around 500 for a Halberd, so yes. You must have ten humanity on the counter to make full use of a Chaos weapon, of course.
The firelink fire keeper died when I had two or was it three keeper's souls once, and was alive other times. I forgot how to trigger that reaction, unfortunate. But I do believe the wiki sites explains it well.

Nice early run of the game. One question I have, why no grab the Cloranthy Ring from The Great Hollow? It's right near where you farm tit.shards with the slugs, and you don't encounter any enemies on the way. It would only add another couple minutes to this run.
The Stamina regen stacks with the Grass Crestshield, and is very useful early on.
The only reason I see why not to get it is for another early acquired ring, such as Havel's.
Also, if you are good enough at roll dodging you can easily get through New Londo ruins and get the parrying dagger and the crossbow in the same run, then homeward bone back to Firelink :)
Faith...? It would be a nice idea to increase str or dex later as well because one of the best things you can get from high faith is weapon buffs, Sunlight Blade,Darkmoon Blade, you can get gwyndolin's soul in the first NG and create Tin Darkmoon Catalyst to get the benefit from Crystal Magic Weapon and the sorcery too.
@ 29:19 There is that bug with Kingseeker Frampt being able to be heard sleeping when he's not even there yet.
Its not a bug, after you ring the first bell you always hear him sleeping.
At 22:30 that is a Wyvern though they might have meant the Hellkite Dragon or Drake as people call it
I try to keep all of my videos as spoiler free as possible, while most people who have been playing for weeks, months, or even years, know what causes Anastacia's death, I still see a lot of new players leaving comments on my videos. Which is why I refer to it as what triggers Anastacia's death, without going into details on how it happens.
You can collect just the New Londo one and save the Blighttown soul for when you're ready to make the trip to Anor Londo. Just don't kill Quelaag or collect the soul until you're really ready to go.
anastacia's death can be trigger if you save Lautrec from undead church, then he'll move to firelink shrine and sit in front of anastacia. if you ring the bell inside quelaag's domain or pickup a firekeeper soul which in the blighttown after that, Lautrec will kill anastacia and move to anor londo.

Depends, on one hand it's good for the PvP community because players don't have to grind for hours on end to achieve their desired build. On the other, this is something that can be used by low level grievers, and new players alike. If it's used by new players, they'll rely too much the equipment they never had to work towards, and they'll never find a way to challenge themselves in PvE. Overall, I think there is some benefit to this, but the potential it has offers more cons than pros.
Fire and Lightning paths are good for early game, so those who pull it off can devour bosses easily. But later in the game when player gets a lot of stats other paths are better in the long run. Lightning is still good tho. Nice job.
