WSBC-TV Sign-off (7-28-1978)

July 28, 1978, the date when WSBC-TV became an NBC affiliate after the National Anthem and the old ident, similar to the WNVC ident music, that was used in years 1974 and 1986. Remember, this SSB film was used in years 1974 and 1981.
WSBC-TV, during this date, signed off at 1:09am and also only changed the schedule on when WSBC will return to the air. WSBC changed it's latest time when they will go on the air with an short sign-off message and when no SSB film was played, which is 4:30am. Only signed off for 3 hours.

Isn't that the same logo as WKYC in the 80s?

Yes. WSBC authorized WKYC to use this logo from the beginning part of this video (1978-1979).
