- This video has been dedicated to the launch of the Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Premiere in the US (The date when this video uploaded), and to the former SEGA's On-Demand Gaming Service from the 90s, the SEGA Channel, which only existed in the US, UK, South America and Asia; and it was compatible on the SEGA Genesis Consoles by connecting a signal adapter to the console.
The service was first launched in December 1994, and later discontinued in July 1998, according to Wikipedia. So, I decided to make this Fanmade Video in honor to this gaming service, and see a possible way for the service to end which means that this video is fake.

The US is the only region thought to have had a purely automated service. From a central office in Denver, CO (where TCI was headquartered), the channel was transmitted to the Galaxy 7 satellite, and then relayed back down to cable operators across the country.
Other regions saw Sega physically send out compact discs to operators.
Following a series of failures starting in June 1998, the Galaxy 7 satellite spun out of geostationary orbit in November 2000, and is now drifting across space.
Also between the Sega Saturn and quarter million subs. SOJ saw no money or future regarding the service. To this day, we are still picking up the pieces.

I remember playing Sega Channel at my cousin's place when I was maybe 6 or 7. Seeing all those options absolutely blew my mind. Pretty sure I hadn't even heard of the internet then. It was an incredible technology in it's day
