Not really sure what you have done to make your fuel economy high. Or did you clean the throttle body and the intake? What did you do? It's not really clear on what you did. I know you remove the throttle body, that's obvious, but what did you do to an after you remove the throttle body?

Unfortunately, it's not a DIY project. Takes training to be able to apply the tech properly. It's a groove that's cut into the throttle body of a certain shape, at a certain location, and the bits have to be specially made. If you used any sand paper etc. It ruined the intake they have a special coating on the outside and inside

That is not possible, if you followed the instructions and have no vacuum leaks. Worst possible scenario is you don't see a gain. Did you call me when you installed it? I certainly don't know your name! But feel free to call and I'll help you diagnose the issue.

By "groove" i believe he meant a throttle body spacer, they have spiral grooves that spiral the air creating more volume and speed. This increases fuel economy and overall performance, not by alot but it's noticeable using a reader. A cai would work better.
g0Thic, the Gadgetman Groove is NOT a TB spacer! the Groove uses a special groove cut into the bore wall just under the closed throttle plate. This alters the air pressure dynamics during the intake stroke of each cylinder. extending both the high and low values of the air pressure the fuel is exposed to. @Mr P just because you just discovered my work, doesn't mean you're the only one. TPTB including Google (who owns TH-cam) suppress my technology. This is one of those gadget man groove salesmen. The guy takes the throttle body and cuts like a 1/4" "groove" into it and says your car is going to get double MPG. It's just horseshit tbh, and they're vague as hell when they talk about it. For some reason I saw the gadget man video and it pissed me off because it's for sure targeted at people who don't know shit about cars, so I researched it until I knew what the hell it was. Supposedly it makes the wind that goes into the throttle body spin around like a cyclone and boosts your MPG. That's all well and good but by the time the air reaches the cylinders its not all swirly anymore so it's definitely not doing anything. I did see a post that someone said most likely what's happening (if anything) is that there's more air entering the intake manifold causing a lean condition which I guess would lead to better MPGs but at the same time cause a ton more heat which causes more wear on internals

Trust me when I tell you it's no joke. I have doubled (or more) the mileage on over a thousand engines since I discovered The Groove in March of '09. It's not rocket science, it's not snake oil. It's fluid dynamics.
