I've been an outside hitter for a few years now but I've recently had this urge to be a setter so here I am. It's definently a struggle but I am truly putting my mind to it after my ACL tear heals lmao

in volleyball u need to know all skills, yes the right side is usually for setters but anyone on court has to know how to set in any scenario, that’s why setters call for help sometimes so anyone else can set. I’m guessing this lady used to set a lot too bc middle helps out, and I’m a middle blocker so ik that.

I would expect an Olympic level setter could block, spike, and pass better than most volleyball players. If you're watching this video to actually learn how to set, you're not at a level where you can be picky and should take every bit of info from an elite athlete who has been around the game most of their life(regardless of position/specialty).
