Video is taken in November 2021 while our Chihuahuas were shedding a lot of hair, so it was a perfect timing for a bath.

I have 5 Chihuahuas. Mine are getting old and my oldest is 16 and going blind, but he still gets around the house and yard very well. He even takes time to bark at the dogs nextdoor 😊

At my house we have 8.. Minnie 10 years young, Pinky 4 years young, this two are the parents of this 3 Wiwi, Pepito, Victoria 2 years young!!! Then Pinky with a Shit-zu 4 more, William 6 months, Patricia, Benito, and Waters she is with my daughters friend. They are beautiful and staying with mommy!!! The cat is bigger than the chihuahuas!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
Awww your babies are so precious!I was one of those who never wanted a Chihuahua, my husband wanted a puppy and it had to be Chihuahua. I have always been a pit-bully owner. Now that we have our fur- babies I can’t imagine my life without them, they are the perfect companion, mine are well trained and quiet, unless you are at our door, or our neighbors door lol we found the perfect apartment companions and I am so glad we adopted out baby Julito and Cinnamon, their antics keep us laughing and smiling every day!
Our Chihuahua brought my youngest son out of a very deep depression. His name is Rocko bc my son says he is his Rock. I don't know what life would be like without our baby. He is our world. 💙🐕🐶🐕🐶🐕💙

I live alone and lost my boy chi Marley at the beginning of December. I was heartbroken, he had a liver condition, which I managed well until a couple of months before he passed, but unfortunately he went back to having seizures so in a way it was a blessing for him to go.
I now have a perfectly fit chi girl called Willow who is peach coloured with white socks and a flash on top of her head!
She is my pride and joy. She’s now five months and fighting over toilet training and doing all the biting of hands and tissues, but we’re getting there! Training with all dogs is so important, so she doesn’t get away with much. I’m lucky that I can spend all day with her and use my mobility scooter to take her out which she’s getting used to. And yes, I am VERY careful!
Willow is a beautiful name for a peach over over white chi pup! Long coat or short coat? deer or apple head? Mine is what was described as créme over cotton by the breeder, but I think it's more or less the same as yours, haha. Quite the marketing, as well as propping him up in a posh looking rococco dog bed with carved wooden legs for the first pictures. The first 4-5 days I had him he was known as the Jag Prince, since his breeder drove around in a big posh Jaguar. He was reasonably priced, though! And the times I visited before pick-up always left me confident they loved all puppies and dogs throughout.
I think the reason mine didn't go first of that litter, and shame on me for not choose him first, is that he got the zoomies every time someone came there to look at the pups. I had put down a 50% payment on a chalk white girl, but as the visits went I kinda fell for the crazy energetic one. He spun around room for room on the wooden floors with his legs wide and body low, just tapping me when he passed by. Utterly bonkers, but so joyfull. Meanwhile the chalk white pup I put down a payment for wasn't really matching my persona at all.
I wish you and willow the best, Shena. And always remember, you can't walk a chi pup too often.

You certainly came away with a character and that is the very best way to choose, let the dog/pup choose you!
Willow was the only remaining pup when I arrived. Very shy of strangers, a little stressed (hence the enormous ploop in the car going home!) Her mother had whelped 7! Yikes……what a monstrous littter for a chi. All had been beautifully reared and I was satisfied that it was all above board.
Willow will be 7 months on June 2nd and, as I think I mentioned in my previous post, she is the light of my life and, incidentally born one my dearly beloved Marley’s final day before he made his journey across the Rainbow bridge to my daughter’s waiting arms!
Willow’s coat is now a much darker almost toasted biscuit colour with a tiny flash of white on her forehead, white chest and Tummy and 4 white feet. She’s also a zoomie and goes on play dates and with my friend’s dog
and gives as good as she gets!!
They do give unconditional love to we lucky folks, who have them as our greatest companions.

My Tussi (Norwegian for farm entity/cryptid who does mischief if not pleased by humans, family dog name for 163 years), certainly shines like a bright star everywhere he's present. My condolences behalf on your losses, I know that takes a lot. I think Willow is going to shine the light you seek from now on. Stay true to her, and she'll stay even truer to you.

I use to be a pug momma, to my little guy and girl and I never had a Chihuahua but fell in love with my little boy. He is a rescue and had a really bad start in life, now it's been 3 yrs and I can't imagine my life without him. He has a few issues with men and when I adopted him someone had kicked him and it broke his pelvis. I don't think he has ever had a basket of toys that come once a month by way of bark box or a big fluffy bed, that has to be next to my pillow every night. He sleeps under a blanket and has to be tucked in every night Spoiled? Nah just really loved.. Your two little ones are so cute and it looks like they have a lot of love each and everyday.. Thank you for sharing..

I didn’t realize just how much he sheds until I started brushing him on a regular basis.
He sheds a lot during the summer but not as much during the winter months here in Michigan.

Love this!! I got a chinese crested/chihuahua and I care for him in a similar way; long walks, baths, clothes etc. It’s a really cute video with sweet music. Makes me happy.

Adorable little creatures!
Every morning we get up and go to my nursing home job, where Valentino sits with residents on their beds as I pass med. On my days off, at 8am everyday we go to the golf course and he sits either in my golf cart or I tie him to a bench so he can watch me chip and putt. He is so well behaved and quiet, I can take him anywhere. His funniest moments are if we are driving down the street and he sees a dog walking, he always says hi. He is so vicious riding around on mommy's lap. Haha.

Getting my chihuahua fix! I had 2 but one died last summer and we had to see her sister over the rainbow bridge a few weeks ago after a major heart attack and seizure. Miss them lots!

Omg, this is so beautiful to see! I have 2 chihuahuas alot like yours! One is Teddy - who loves running so much and just loves long walks so much! I have one called Dolly who has a whiter coat like yours and thinks walks are cold, scary and not fun 😂 She also had teeth taken out too. Our dogs are really alike! Oh and that barking thing they do to get their owner's attention is SO CUTE my dogs do that too!!!

I’ve had chihuahuas for 50 years, it’s the only breed I love. Yours look very happy and healthy, the talking one is hilarious! They really are very unique little dogs and so loving. They are so mighty but they are also delicate. I did notice the kibble you are feeding them and thought it seemed a bit large for them, I always buy the toy breed kibble size and it’s so much easier for them to chew. Just a thought, Tfs

I give mine freshly boiled ,shredded chicken and occasionally a little rice

ok this is probably a weird comment but I was wondering if you had any tips on how to prove to my parents I am ready for a chihuahua. i currently have 2 guinea pigs that live in my room in a big enclosure and I have been wanting a chihuahua for almost a year now I have saved up almost 1 thousand dollars and have tried to prove in every way that I am ready to get one. thanks so much :)
Hi! It's not weird at all, thank you for leaving a comment. :) I think saving money and gathering a lot of information is the best thing to do. You can prove to your parents that you are really ready and this is something you really want. You could show them how much money you'd need for the puppy's first year, for example. The money will be for buying the puppy and puppy essentials (like a bed, leash, food bowls, clothes if necessary, etc.), vet fees (vaccinations, worm treatments, etc.) and dog food. How does that sound to you? Feel free to ask me anything if you have more questions. I hope this is somehow helpful for you and I hope you'll get your own Chihuahua too, they're amazing!

In today's world, vetting is VERY expensive and must be a big part of your decision to have a pet. If you choose a breed that requires a lot of grooming, that is an additional expense. Be prepared to choose your living arrangements around your pet. I.e. some places don't allow for pets if you rent or are in a dorm. You need a safe way to exercise most breeds (nearby park, dog park, fenced backyard, etc). Near enough to your vet. So many pets come into rescue because owners can't afford the vetting and grooming or are moving and can't take their pet with them. Medical insurance is a good thing if you get a pup without pre-existing conditions. But many of us adopt from rescues and they may be in rescue for a reason such as heart worm positive (a very expensive long term cure), senior, diseases or injuries, behavioral problems. Not all, but many. I have been blessed with many rescued and adopted dogs and cats over my 62 years. But you have to anticipate the possible expenses and be prepared as much as you can be. That may be why your parents hesitate to get you a dog. Especially if the household income is stretched already. But don't give up your dream. My babies have been worth any expense and bring so much joy. One day you will be able to make the decision and you will never look back. I pray I will never be without a pet. Oh, and one last word of advice, be sure your significant other is just as much in love with pets as you are so it's not an added stress on a relationship. Don't marry someone who doesn't like pets or is allergic or resents the expense of pet ownership. If it means that much to you, find someone who will understand and agree with you on pet ownership.
Owning a dog big or small is a huge responsibility you need to walk them daily outside so they can pee and poop small dogs you need to protect them from big dogs at all times you need to feed them the right food for a healthy long life regularly visit the vet for check ups vet bills are not cheap at any given time i have 2 chihuahuas mix going on 12 and 13 yrs now precious has cost around 5,000 so far maybe more susie around 1,800 i will give everything to save there life they are your best friend you will want to buy SWEATERS and coats my girls get 4 SWEATERS put on them in the winter to keep them warm i dress them according to the weather outside 😉 you can always read up on owning a dog on line or a book from the library the more you know the better for you and your best friend also this is very important you must have patience at all times with your best friend if they go to the bath room in the house dont lose your cool clean it up and put down a doggy pad both my girls use them when they cant go out because of weather rain thunderstorms fireworks that scares small dogs bad hold your dog close and always talk to your dog over time they will understand stand u good luck i wish you well and your furry friend
Dude, save yourself HUNDREDS of those dollars and go get a dog from a rescue centre, you’re looking at 160 dollars maybe just into the 200s for one and I can guarantee you’ll find a chihuahua. Also by suggesting this to your parents it will make you look all the more responsible, caring, loving soul that you really are ;) xxx good luck, darling… PLEASE PLEASE ADOPT ONE INSTEAD OF BUYING ONE! xxx

I actually use a ferret walking vest on my little one. The dog equivalent is way more expensive and a lot less comfy for her.
I was surprised when I found it ! But, hey.. 😀it works great!

Your babies are wonderful! So sweet, especially when she talks to you. My Luci would do that with me. I miss her so much. Holy cow! How did that much hair come from a little one?😉 Luci was Teacup poodle/ chihuahua, so we had no shedding.. ( a beautiful thing) . My only question is you didn’t wipe their feet from being out in the city.. even you stepped in poop. Hook worm can be picked up on paws and licked off. Be careful . Angry people living in thier own little angry world say this breed is yappy and out of control. I call bull!!!! This is how they behave when they are part of the family and taken care of. Yes they bark when the stupid parents aren't watching thier stupid children treating the dog like a rag doll. The little helpless girl is conditioned for abuse. Duh!!!!!! All she sees is ankles rushing her. Loud kids yelling and screaming. What would you do? Pay attention to this wonderful woman. She's doing everything right. And remember. Hey I just discovered recently, a soft toothbrush and some water to rinse it with can really clean doggies face and removes a bunch of the head hair that gets stuck in and makes them look older.
