    I have the later model titanium edition and I haven't had a single problem with it. My favorite thing about it is how dirt cheap the extra receivers are. You can even use the hobbyking branded ones with it.

    Cheers for that bud, just about to buy one. Did you do a customisation video? Would love to swap the steering side.

    Will the GT3C connect to the FS-A3 receiver?

    Great video. In in the market for a radio so I can just have 1 for all my rcs. what I'm wondering is if I can run my arrma nero diff brain with this radio.

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm honestly not as I hadn't heard of the "arrma nero diff brain" until you mentioned it. If it works with a simple on/off style switch then yes, you could potentially use this radio with it. If it needs one channel per diff then you'd need to hack the radio to use more than 3 channels and then you could do it.

    I Currently have an Airtronix MX-3 AM
    With 10 model memory and to change the model I got to make sure the Cristals matches and change the model number in the Controller.
    On this Skifly Do you need to bind every time you change your model?
    You mention that it has 10 model memory.

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have a bound receiver in every vehicle you just turn off the vehicle, change the model selection in the radio and turn on the selected vehicle.

    I like it so far. Im mainly a basher and once in a while a track goer. Does this have decent response for track driving ? im honestly thinking about buying this and the extra receivers and just putting them in multiple cars like my basher , my racer, and my mini 1/18th rc18. I just love the fact that one remote can have a nice display and have the option to choose between different rcs

      i have read the comments ,just want to be sure as it did not come with a charger and its my first modern transmitter
      thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out

  • @simtcr
    @simtcr 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    should i keep the transmitter turned off while charging? Also can i use my phone chargers to charge the transmitter?

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think it matters if it is off, it will just charge faster if it is off. I know people who have used phone chargers but I have never needed to myself.

    • @simtcr
      @simtcr 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      When it reaches what voltage voltage you put for charging?

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      When it is charged the color of the little led light should change to green.

  • @SteviRides
    @SteviRides 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    does it have built in failsafe?

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It does have a fail safe as far as "disabling" the vehicle when there is no signal from the transmitter. However you should always double check this when it comes to your particular vehicle as no two vehicles are identical.

    Hi i was wondering how is it compare to futaba pmx3?

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sorry, I have no experience with the PMX3. I can say that it is a very light and well balanced radio and after hacking it with new firmware, you have up to 8 channels available.

      Thanks for quick reply, would you say it is responsive enough for Buggy? I want to use it with Xray XB4 buggy

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I couldn't say, I don't do any racing anymore sadly. If you are racing with your buggy I would recommend that you go to your local track and talk with the guys there and look around at what they are running. Talk with them about their experiences at the location because each location can bring it's own issues as well.

    will this work for VROC PRO?

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +alarq 7 I don't see why not, but you need the adapter like with most other radios. I haven't tried it though.

      I got the adapter sold in the VRC PRO official page, thanks a lot dude

    Why do you need a neck strap do you use a sippy cup

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A neck strap isn’t only for safety, it also allows you to let go of the radio to do other things, like filming, without having to find a dry place to put your radio down first.

    Lol got it greenlight

  • @crawlervideo
    @crawlervideo 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Banggood sell it hacked and pimped with "8" Channels.Search for "Dasmikro"

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @crawlervideo The problem with the Dasmikro hack is that it is just piggybacking on the ch3 ppm signal. This means that you can't independently control those extra channels with trim for example.

    I've bought both gt3b gt3c and the b works better

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Graham Clay Clay I think it is a matter of personal preference. I prefer a lipo battery because it makes for a lighter radio & I like the feel of the C better overall. The C also has some internal improvements in terms of electronics, plastic supports & such.

  • @rizamaulidi9627

    Don't buy GT3C. You'll have serious range and response issues

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve never had a range or response issue with any of the 3 GT3C radios I own or any of the ones I have hacked. I think you either have gotten a bad one or have a different issue going on.
      That being said, these are not a high end, professional level racing radio. If thats your thing stick to a Sanwa, Futaba or similar but you will be paying 5x more at the least.

    • @rizamaulidi9627
      @rizamaulidi9627 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have both GT3B and GT3C, so i compared the range and response between them with the same type of RX. It's nice on GT3B, but the other one had serious range and response problem.
      It was well said that the guy in FlySky fixed Issues and enhanced the functions appeared in GT3B by releasing GT3C. But why do they decrease the Voltage of the battery from 9,6V (8xAA) to just 4,2V, It will have impact to the range itself (based on my opinion).
      You will rarely see a youtuber comes with Range Test Video of GT3C.

    • @Rcculture
      @Rcculture  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My understanding is that that is now incorrect. From what I have read all radios now only operate on 3.3v regardless of the max available. This was required to meet US federal regulations. Now with older crystal radios, you are correct.
