This truly is the next gen version of Stampy’s Funland. Instead of longer building episodes it’s just a 30-60 second explanation of the games mechanics, I for one love it because it scratches that itch while keeping up with my heavily shortened attention span because of YTShorts
If you bake all these into a plugin and and make a minigame server, you can probably surpass hypixel, just add a place for classic game modes like bedwars and add a place for SMPs and other gamemodes like oneblock and skyblock
When I started playing minecraft back then I wanted to build a mine cart pvp mini game but I never had any knowledge of redstone so I never had the chance to finnish it but I guess you succeeded so congrats on your success

I suggest replacing the swords with tridents that you can throw in a certain range. You can then score them depending on which part they hit. 3 for the head, 2 for the torso, 1 for anything else and -1 if you hit the minecart
I'd give them diamond axes with sharpness IV, just to make it more high-stakes. Instead of swinging like drunken sailors, they'll need to judge the distance and timing to be able to swing as many times as possible within the limited time they have to hit eachother. If they swing too early or- god forbid- miss, they'll be at a serious disadvantage as the other person takes advantage of the long windup time of the axe.
I used to play a game where the minecarts would be far apart, and always going forwards, so if it hits a side, it goes back, and you just had to shoot the player on the other side with a bow and arrow
It'd be nice if the redstone was a toggle-ableAND gate so both players would press their button to signal ready and then when both ready the rails would activate.
A traditional just in Minecraft should be two players on their horse using a trident to kill each other, however you are not allowed to throw the trident.
This reminds me of a hypixel mini game in which people are on pigs and have to kill eachother as they mover around without much control of the pigs movement
