I could not agree more with you on this one. The very first time I saw it, didn't expect it at all, I lost my breath laughing and started crying for 2 minutes. Never experienced this feeling ever since.
The hardest I ever laughed was in a theatre watching this scene. I remember having to look away from the screen because I couldn’t take the funny any more. My abdominal muscles were seizing from laughing so hard. The whole theatre was wiping tears from this scene.
I love it so much I literally just made it my first TH-cam profile picture. (Okay the way he points at it the first time might be even funnier, but the fist pump after is more picturesque)
I remember watching it for the first time and the movie is pretty funny but when this scene came on I never laughed so hard in my life during a movie . I probably watched this scene 15 times that night crying with laughter haha
If yall like this one...watch Taxi with Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon....the scene when they inhale nitrous oxide....she says "you're crazy" and it is just like this scene.....only missing the "YESSSSS!!"
I could watch this a hundred times and the belly laughs never stop. Comedic gold. Sean's speechless scoff before the, "YESS!!!!!" adds to the delivery of the punchline so much , lol
That's the part that always gets me!! hahahha he sells it so well. It really does feel like he's been waiting to see someone get it right in the neck since the very day he bought the dart gun! lmao
sportsmc3 He never really joined "The Frat Pack" or Seth Rogen's crew despite being in films with both of them. I wonder why, he fit in so well. Kinda like Jack Black.

A super subtle touch that gives SWS character such a deep back story... or at least the elements are supplied for your brain to construct depth into the character, which can be considered genius filmmaking.
The song Sound of Silence is from the movie The Graduate with Dustin Hoffman, Anne Bancroft, etc. The pool reference when Will Ferrell falls in the pool is based on one of the opening scenes in The Graduate movie, i.e. Dustin Hoffman floating in the pool answering questions from his parents. Great movie.
The overwhelming joy of seeing this exquisite accident occur overpowers his fear of any of the consequences that might follow and for that we thank you, Sean William Scott. You had one small job in this movie and you performed it with such perfect comedic timing and nuance that it is now borderline timeless and hands down one of my favorite parts of the movie. Of course Will Ferrell is as perfectly natural in this scene, but he had the whole rest of the movie to shine. This is your scene all the way. Bravo and thank you.
One of those awesome laughs from back in the day. I can remember the whole cinema rocking to this, Men and women. They should have done a movie together when Sean William Scott was in his prime
I don't know why but every time I see Stiffler grab that horses reins when he's tough-talking it and it jumps, it makes me laugh my ass off every time. it was just too perfectly done. anybody other than Stiffler couldn't have made that go so smoothly. even Will Ferrell is trying not to laugh, but isn't doing a great job,
Low key underrated unintentional (maybe) part is when SWS tells the pony to shut up and the pony neighs at him … whole movie is brilliant. Got Ferrell and co at their peaks
I swear to the almighty, the first time I watched this scene I thought I was going to cough up a lung from laughing so hard! From the voice change, to him face planting, to him singing happy birthday & finally falling into to pool! That scene just got funnier & funnier! I still laugh pretty hard watching it even though I know what's going to happen! Classic Will Ferrell!!
haha holy crap! that little kid in the green and blue checkered shirt was one of my best friends in elementary school, Justin Sanders! He always told everyone in class how he was in Old School but we all thought he was joking because he had some outlandish stories. he's not a child actor anymore, he's in the Marines now
The comedic timing here is unbelievable. It’s so perfect in fact that I’d say it’s the funniest scene I’ve ever watched ever. He’s still talking about how the gun can pierce the skin of a rhino but before he can say in how many yards, the gun has already fired and has entered the skin of frank. That is perfection. Next the look on stifler’s face, that look of amazement, shock and utter euphoria all mixed into one. It’s so good. So good. His reaction at that one second is utter perfection and really pushes cements this scene. The rest is good but truthfully it’s those two moments that make this scene what it is. Comedy perfection.
Both actors are the best for this scene
Nadir Siddique what is there names
Sean William Scott in the mullet, Will Ferrel in the nightgown.
Yessssss!!!!!! Together they deliver the best scene OF ALL TIME!!!!!
they really are the best
Made today it would be Danny McBride and Seth Rogan.
I love how Sean tells Will to be careful and then his character's first reaction to him not being careful whatsoever is, "YES! THAT'S AWESOME!"
Then 2 seconds later that’s not cool, you got a dart in your neck!”
Rofl
🤣🤣
I know that's why it's sooooo funny !+
I love that he's explaining how it can puncture the skin of a Rhino when he shoots himself😅😂

I do agree that the scene was incredibly funny but it would been much funnier if John C Reilly was involved or any of Will Ferrell's SNL cast members
@@wellthen.......9384 John C Reily could not replace Seann William Scott in this scene. Besides, he was probably busy shooting porn at that point.

You must be kinda young, but yea it's pretty funny

The song Sound of Silence is from the movie The Graduate with Dustin Hoffman, Anne Bancroft, etc. The pool reference when Will Ferrell falls in the pool is based on one of the opening scenes in The Graduate movie, i.e. Dustin Hoffman floating in the pool answering questions from his parents.
