I just moved into a new rental and couldn't work out how to adjust these. Mine were too long so the toilet was running all the time. Fixed it! Thank you!!
I’m not sure why, but the adjustment I need to do is left to right even though the flush mechanism appears to be perfectly centered on the tank and the button centered on the cover, the buttons and rods are about 1cm too far to the left and the only way to align them is to put the cover on a little bit too far to the right. I don’t see any particular way to make a left/right adjustment
I’ve been living in my house with this style toilet for 8 years and always HATED my toilet bc I had to push the button so hard and hold forever. Finally I thought to look at TH-cam. What a dunce I’ve been. Thank you thank you thank you!!! Problem fixed in 10 seconds!!!!!!!😅
Was skeptical of this purchase but not disappointed. Excellent quality and th-cam.com/users/postUgkxZ7xR4U1TX3HwZZ84K6KfzVTyrqxaZ3jZ too! Installation is easy but a bit time consuming. Still worth it! No regrets on purchase.

I just got a new one and it wont get short enough. I’m going to have to cut them?
Mine is also a dual flush but there are NO adjustable pins. All was working perfectly until I replace the bottom seal 3 days ago.
