I feel like all of BFV was a "so close, yet so far" experience. So many things they did almost worked, and the game was almost incredible, but I feel like it just never all came together like BF3, 4, or 1. I hope the new one is what we're all looking for.

DICE lost their nuts. Continuing development on into 2021 would of saved it. Gun play is fantastic. Some of the maps are the best battlefield ever did. The graphics are the tits.
They didn't "give up", the plug was pulled once they realized fans said "fuck this game". For as great as the Pacific was, the player count dropped again really quickly after it's release. Just wasn't enough staying power.

yeah I kinda hate dice for that, there are SOOOO many else stuff they can make out of ww2, I want the easten line, potentialy south east aisa battles, I cant believe the ww2 in dice's eyes is just pacific and west line

The plane on top of the lander truly gave me a chuckle. Only in BF will you be sniping people on the other side of the map, zoom out, see this drive by and zoom back in to see a plane on top of a boat having a great time.
This game is honestly really underrated. I mean there's a lot of stuff that should've been added, but the actual game itself is really fun, and in my opinion, has the best gunplay, time to kill, and movement of ANY Battlefield game.
Modern Warfare never felt like traditional cod as much as it felt like a poor attempt to capitalize on all the disappointed battlefield fans for me. Although it did have gunsmith which was great.

I definitely agree that there aren't really any fun fps at them movement. They're all way to try hard COD style of games. BF is more about being able to use different weapons and have fun not be try hard or fail.
BFV is going to be the first game I install on my PS5, I love the battlefield franchise. As you said Jack, no skill base match making, guns feel different from one another and you can jump in and do whatever you like to do.........chill, attack or tank. Great video 👍

Cod wins because of that, people who play cod usually just want to kickback and get some kills while running around in a small map, they cater to two different types of people. Although it is sad to see the potential of this series not shine to its fullest potential
One of the funnest things i have found in BF5 lately is going onto solomon islands and getting 3 squad mates, dodging and weaving with katanas it's more fun on console since it's harder to aim on there but it's the most fun i've had in a while
If only they didn't go with the robot arm woman bonking people on the head with a bat image and just stuck to classic World War 2 style (no eastern front?), didn't keep fiddling with the TTK and had community servers from the off it would have been decent. 5/10 installment.

Depends on the map you're on. FYI, you're just salty that the pilots aren't being contested up in the sky. I've been there, on the ground. It sucks, but ignore it and move on.
BF5 has massive cheater problems, probably the worst in any BF franchise. Basically the only ones left are the permasweaters, and aspiring permasweaters with walls and aimbots. Shit detection and no third party servers means it's open season on cheating.
I have re-joined onto the Battlefield bandwagon after 2 and half years away from it and it looks like things are looking good and ready for the next installment. Can we all agree that Jack has made a sound discussion on the last update?
This game had potential. I though some of the core mechanics like the gunplay was great. Unfortunately BFV wasn't a polished product. Hopefully Battlfield 6 brings back a modern sandbox full of content and customisation.

@Aidan Hall Go play DICE's first BF game, bf1942 had everything you want. You could literally pilot aircraft carriers/submarines/warships in the pacific, had operation omaha, market garden, kursk. BF1942/VIETNAM/2 were the best the series ever were. The only thing that's improved was the gunplay in 3 and 4 IMO.

The draw distance is so crisp. Frostbite is a great engine compared to warzone.

I love bf5 , I just got off it but it does have it’s issues but it still feels great to play , hopefully bf6 will fill up our expectations

This game had so much potential. The war in the pacific update was amazing and should of set the pace for future updates but sadly was never delivered. Really bums me out for future titles.
What's this about "chilling" in BF5 with varied skill levels? Every game I'm in is a sweaty circlejerk full of neckbeards in planes farming the entire server for points nonstop.
Depends on the map you're on. FYI, you're just salty that the pilots aren't being contested up in the sky. I've been there, on the ground. It sucks, but ignore it and move on.
BF5 has massive cheater problems, probably the worst in any BF franchise. Basically the only ones left are the permasweaters, and aspiring permasweaters with walls and aimbots. Shit detection and no third party servers means it's open season on cheating.
I think he meant in comparison to COD, especially Cold War, where the SBMM in through the roof

I have re-joined onto the Battlefield bandwagon after 2 and half years away from it and it looks like things are looking good and ready for the next installment. Can we all agree that Jack has made a sound discussion on the last update?
This game had potential. I though some of the core mechanics like the gunplay was great. Unfortunately BFV wasn't a polished product. Hopefully Battlfield 6 brings back a modern sandbox full of content and customisation.

It lacks the diversity required for Dice to be able to release an abundance of maps that have a variety of landscapes and locations. Dice needs to push out content for BF6 for over 2 and a half years. No naval combat. Sorry bro. Vietnam isn't happening and it shouldn't.

I miss so much the first days of bfv. That original ttk, i loved that, i meet my till today game buds at that time, and god knows we had fun in this game.
I uninstalled the game yesterday. Bf3 still the best battlefield game

roads are measured in miles over here, but we use metric for everything else
Yeah we don't use kilometres in the UK, in fact we actually almost exclusively use the imperial system in daily life like stone and pounds for weight and feet and inches for height.

@Aidan Hall Go play DICE's first BF game, bf1942 had everything you want. You could literally pilot aircraft carriers/submarines/warships in the pacific, had operation omaha, market garden, kursk. BF1942/VIETNAM/2 were the best the series ever were. The only thing that's improved was the gunplay in 3 and 4 IMO.
@Aidan Hall basically every WWII game has a D-Day scene. D-Day is over used in games.
@@YourAverageMop good. It was one of the most pivotal moments in ww2. It was a sacrifice for a possibility of peace some day. It deserves to be overused in games. It deserves to be plastered in anything remotely related to ww2, and its a damn shame dice missed out on it.
I know! So much to cover, d-day, Russia, battle of bulge, could of done bomber stuff, b-17s etc, more pacific campaigns.. literally enough ideas to keep it going and keep it relevant for another couple years!

I played BFV for the first time in a while earlier and I gotta say I quite enjoyed it more than I used to it actually felt like ww2 for once ecspeccially the tank combat, Sherman’s and tigers where constantly duelling with each other throughout the matches
