    things that helped me:
    - eating in regards to my cycle (cycle syncing)
    - feminine embodiment practices, somatic therapy where i put on a song that makes me feel feminine/sexy and just close my eyes and dance and let my body flow like water (great way to heal your feminine energy as well)
    - focussing on healthy foods and vegetables and reduce processed foods
    - Yoga especially hip tension release since a lot of trauma and emotion is stored in women's hips
    - leaving my phone downstairs when i sleep so i dont go on it when i wake up and before i sleep
    - cutting out coffee and having matcha instead but only 90min after i wake up and after breakfast
    - herbal teas
    - going for afternoon walks to the park while the sun sets
    - breath work, humming to trigger my parasympathetic nervous system
    - journaling
hope this helps anyone out there! xx

Been divorced for 6 years... the man sleeping next to me was definitely causing the cortisol spike. But now he only triggers it once or twice a year. Joys of co-parenting.

I’m the biggest advocate for walking. It helps with thinking and giving yourself a break from listening to other people. Now, I can be able to feel confident and grounded in my body while I’m walking.

    • @MincaNyan
      @MincaNyan หลายเดือนก่อน

Walking is amazing. I used think I walked a lot in the past, but when I got my high-energy german shepherd, the difference was HUGE. Of course at first it was hard, walking 2-3 hrs a day plus playing. But one and a half years later, walking this much every single day, has taught me so much about how important it is. It's good for your mind and body. You get time off to think (or not think) about stuff. Sometimes I dance and sometimes I cry and the woods take it all in equal stride. And don't get me started on what that does to your baseline endurance ...❤❤

This video honestly makes me want to cry. It’s a reminder of how badly I’ve been treating myself. I’m addicted to stress. Even though I’ve been eating healthier and exercising, I haven’t seen the change I want because I’m chronically stressed. I’m going to pray about this, I need Jesus to help me get to a healthier state❤

Girl, in THE most respectful way possible, YOU'VE GOT THIS with or without Jesus! I am not religious myself (well not in a traditional sense, more of a Mother Earth worshipper if you will) but it has never and will never stop me from pursuing better and better for myself and others! With or without him, you are sooo powerful and capable, anyone else by your side is only a bolster! 🫶

What's helped me lately has been getting comfortable with being bored. When I started going to the gym I was really irritable on the treadmill because I had nothing to look at, nothing to do except walk and listen to my music. I went to the park and walked without music (never listen to music while walking in an open space like the park ladies, you will be kidnapped) and I finally got over the boredom thing. It felt kinda good to be bored. Head empty. I think meditation is similar. I'm now addicted to it and I swear it's helping me improve my life so much.

Yes totally agree on everything. All my year at past I did HIIT home workouts and also on calorie deficit which did not do any SHIT just made me puffy and bulked idk why but then i saw one video like a lowkey TH-camr explaining the science of walking which really intrigued me and then gave it a shot. AS SOON AS 1 week I started to see changes on my bloating and my puffiness and I’ve never turned my back on it. MY body was meant for peace in any form and I’m glad I choose the path of peace physically, emotionally and mentally 🌱

for digestive issues btw I suggest drinking kefir? but at the beginning you shouldn't drink a lot of it (like, maybe 1/3 or a large glass or 2/3 of a small glass). it really did wonders for my own personal digestion but since it's fermented i have to make sure i also don't be eating yoghurt or kimchi on the same day haha 😅definitely a staple in my diet though!

Love it. #75Kclub Also had multiple phases of life where I had to mindfully de-tox certain parts of my habits to regain my peace. In addition to ALL the things you mentioned, vitamins and nutrition were also HUGE treatments for me. Everyone here is vitamin D deficient for example. And Vitamin D has huge correlation to depression and mind health. So addressing vitamin balances like that also greatly helps with cortisol balance.
