@@WillHatton For a long time - I was a sucker, for the latest greatest synth vst, that came along, but once I had a better understanding of different types of synths (WT, FM, sub, add, etc.) I really only use a few. Nowadays - its all about the workflow and anything that can improve on that - I am all in.
@VentureNW I did the same but then I learnt how to use Serum and can pretty much make what I want with it...I would of saved alot of money if I'd done this sooner 😂
@@WillHatton also because of that limiter and the fact its purpose built for this scenario, it takes out any additional faffing around with the levels and stuff after you're layering transient-y bits. I messed around with it this morning and ended up with a Ten Tigers sounding beat!
Wait... ...did you call that at 5:30 minutes "funk"? Are you from Rio de Janeiro? No one that I know would call that "funk", but "cariocas"... BTW, really good video storyboard...
@@WillHatton Same sound! WOW. How could we call it? HOMOPHONIA. (it's so cool to love etymology 😁) I'm pretty sure you understand that the same rhythm and same name (phonetically) is way more than just a different way to write a word. Cool! I've never heard that same rhythm style from out of Rio de Janeiro. BTW, the worst attitude and lyrics you can find around the world... Thank you for the video! I bought my copy yesterday... Cool plugin... ...not easy to use as many may think (phase issues are there as much as possible - as expected - mostly on kicks - as expected) but the tool have many ways to try to solve them...
One of the most interesting plugins I've seen in a long time.
Something fresh for sure!
Now you need the MPC version!
If it's from cableguy then I know for a fact it's gonna be solid. I love their shorts tutorials and Shaperbox so I'm sure I'll love this one as much
Cableguys = Instant purchase
Agreed!
I also agree 😂
This thing is an absolute time saver! It was an instant purchase 😂
Agreed!
Wow!! This is something I definitely need in my toolkit. Thanks for this!!
My pleasure! Definitely took me by surprise!
This is nuts‼️Great video‼️Love almost EVERY plugin that BT is involved with…
Thanks bud, agreed!
Done deal. Looks great. Thanks.
Very good review of what seems like a very useful plugin, thanks for sharing.
Ya, got it right off the Cableguys video - makes layering SO much easier.
100% Can't believe we haven't had it before!

@@BaronBruce Yep 100% - and someday Duda is going to drop Serum 2.0. Haha
buying tonight :)
Hands down one of the best plugins in the long time. Easy purchase.....
Genuinely! Terrific that they spotted this hole in the market.
absolute gamechanger - getting this immediately
I thought the same! Such a timesaver and gorgeous sounds too!

@@blackaddermusic yes bro!!! Pleased to hear it!
Not bad, but not a gamechanger. Anything what you can do with it, can easy be done with 2 steps more in every DAW
@@axoplanet6081 I know how to layer percussions pal. This just saves time. It's a gamechanger for me.
Great tool, cheers Will!
Any time!
Yeah man this is legit. Going to try the demo now!
Enjoy, I think you’ll dig it!
Thank you! How come I didn't come across this channel before? I am getting this plug-in for sure.
Glad you found us when you did! Welcome aboard
this acc looks hella good
Sold!
Is that future garage project file included at the patreon? I'd love to dive into it!! Thanks for all you do man 🙏🏻
It'll be up as of tomorrow (Thursday, yes!)
There's some other future garage bits from previous years too!
Very cool, will check this out for sure.

@@WillHatton dayyum, tried it out, the ultimate drum utility plugin
@@mmckmusic Glad you copped it!
Cabelguys = automatic purchase.
what is that align max for live device?
Align delay!!! I love it, just creates a delay of audio signal to widen your instrument. Great on pads, percussion, backing vocals or dynamic claps!
Wait...

"Phonk"

Anyone know why it adds so much of a delay on the playhead in Ableton and how I fix it? Thanks! *It doesn’t do it in Logic, I checked.
It is easy to over do it, and turn it too loud.😁
Lol why is not drum rack a better option when u can revrse samples?
ITS FUNK, NOT PHONK.
PHONK = RAP DARK BEATS 90s
FUNK = THE BRAZILIAN MUSIC
Funk=Parliament-Funkadelic, Cameo, etc.
Brazilian music has very little to do with ‘funk’.
Funk = Brazilian Music? 😂😂😂 Sorry man, but better shut the f‘ up if you don‘t know what you are talking about
@@tkelong3569bro root beer is literally beer because it has beer in the name duh
It's unrelated to the actual funk genre, only the name is similar
