If you havent done a video on why and what youre foam rolling in videos i think that would awesome. Sometimes i roll out and feel amazing, other times i feel like im just shooting in the dark and missing.
With the Yoke and Farmer walk are you planing on doing a Strongman Comp again or is this an exercise you find is good for isometric core Stability (Assistance for Squat/Deadlift)?
Bro I got one question I want my Bench to get solid I used to bench 365 but I’m training flat footed an it’s hard never have but I have to for the uspal any suggestions
John what did you do to heal that injured glute you were talking about a little while ago? Been dealing with glute pain for months now and it's stopped me from deadlifting
It was just rest. Since it was post meet, I took a week or so off lower body, then just slowly worked back up. I’ve used TB500 in the past. I don’t like using it in the off season though and feel to reliant on it.
I wanna see what you can pull using thicker pound plates where they fill up to the end of the collars. With the crazy whip you’ll get from that I think you can do like 945 or something.
@@hashimiyazib u think so? I figure the whip would be immense at 900+lbs no? I can feel good whip with 600 on conventional, I can’t imagine how 900+ would feel.
@@sbdftw1702 I think it can all the instagram influencers be adding lb plates that reach the end of the collars, yet in comp with kilo plates they pull much less.
@@Burog1 The Kabuki bar does more favors than wide plates IMO. Also, you can't use super wide plates on a normal deadlift bar anyway when loading 10 on each side.
Wow just worked up to 500 pound famers this week is was feeling pretty good about that, seeing John just stroll with 630 holy shit thats heavy i got some work to do ...
With farmers in the way you record the weight is per hand, not total. 630 is 315. This is why heavyweight strongman and such will talk about doing 400 farmers rathe than 800 Generally when you sign up to a contest and the weights are listed it’s per hand. 315 a hand is still good for a guy who’s around 200 though
Please keep up the content man! Very motivating!
Here is the new years motivation anybody should ever need.
what camera are you using? those vids are insane! huge greetings from Poland John!
John Haack has fallen into the "lifelong intermediate" trap. he's gonna be plaeuteud at an 800 squat, 600 bench and 900+ dead for a long time :(
I remember when I was an intermediate, barely pulling a thousand pounds, pathetic.
Sad seeing him stagnate this early…
World records = intermediate
It was bound to happen eventually
Still what legendary plateaus! Jeremy Renner’s doppelgänger has done great

Good stuff, John.
Good to see your still incorporating strongman exercises, imo they have helped your squat!
Yea I agree with that. Also they are just fun.
BFMV opening up the lift session lol love it

Nothing planned right now. Depending on how ghost clash goes, I may make a push for OSG at the end of the year.
John hack.. my favorite powerlifter ever! Fuckn animal!

@MHB30 Appreciate your straight up honesty 👏 ❤ I might look into that 😉
Crazy how Jesse was doing this back in the day
John have you ever programmed rack pulls? Wasn’t sure if elites even mess with them-
I haven’t. I think block pulls are a little more common, outside of westside guys. Andy uses block pulls.
Anything John hack👌💪💪
I’m just here for the music
Again for the Algorithm. Love the videos :)
Trt during this off season program?
Yup, 100mg/week
Really impressive hitting that 375kg deadlift on that amount. @@MHB30

Why do your toes go up when you deadlift? Is that normal for you
Idk, it just always happens
What peptides do you stack for recovery? Thanks for the awesome content.

this is just crazy to be when i deadlift 315 shits heavy i cant even imagine this shit

given that John never does that and is a conventional puller I doubt the crazy whip would add much

Lol, it wouldn’t just miraculously add 5% to his ATPR.

John do you use steroids
No it’s all vegetables and prayers
You should get coached by mark rippetoe, he says 4-5 lbs per inch of height. Imagine your lifts at 340 lbs
What shoes are those?
They are from Tyr
I’m sure if I had a deadlift bar I could pull another 400 lbs.
real
I come here for the edm
fun fact
here in brazil we call deadlift " earth lift "
" levantamento terra " in portuguese
That’s a badass way of saying it
