This clutch basket had never even worked hard yet the bike had bad vibrations from the engine. The drive gear had not been striking the three alloy stop posts. This was thought to be what caused the vibrations. See only the slightest marks.

Suzukis new clutch basket for DL 1050 engines from 2020 onwards are now good and do not require modification. There is no need to modify old baskets. Buy new and get the new springs and gears. They are backwards compatible so fit all 2002 to 2024 engines.
