I've only seen her in Sex Education and The Crown, but knowing that she has an American accent is bugging me more than it should LMAO EDIT: Watching the rest, what accent is actually hers?? lol
She kind of switches between both, whether consciously or not. She’s lived in both England and The U.S throughout her life, so I think they both kind of come naturally to her.
She spent a lot of her childhood in the UK and then her teenager years in the US and then lived in England since she was in her 30s. So if anything her British accent is her "natural" one and the American one she adopted when she was older to fit in.
