Our creator makes NO mistakes. Our color is deliberate. It is up to people to recognize the beauty in it. If they don't....too bad for them.

It is just skin colour. Some people are fair, wheatish, dusky and dark. It is like how you present yourself to others, how beautifully you maintain your inside and outside. It is important to maintain basic hygiene, wear nice and clean clothes, be updated and love yourself. Thank you 😊😊

    • @KaamnaLive

i agree that it should be an additive thing - like how interesting it is that we all have different skin colors. sadly it's the judgment that one is better than the other that gets us all down.

I wish it wasnt even a topic for discussion, it hurts to be compared more than anything and growing up i was always happy to get a tan and see how dark my skin would go loved the glow that it had, until i became a teen and having lighter brothers and mother they and other people would remark on how dark i got like it was a REALLY bad thing even though white people often boast about how dark they can get, and i wished Asians and black people anyone with melanin could truly enjoy it! There was so much shame and i felt i could never compare to anyone lighter, so i wore lighter makeup and lightened my skin, fortunately i never used anything too harsh like hydroquinone, i gradually overcame that then started to love my skin until today, i had a moment where i hated my reflection thinking if only i was only a little lighter 😣 it truly is an ongoing battle and 10000% social media makes it worse. Family also needs to be supportive, as skin color is so unimportant. Thankyou so much for this video!

Even though I still have moments of self-doubt, I finally could reach the acceptance and embrace of my skin colour. What made me do it (regardless of what people say) is learning how skin works, particularly melanin, and let me tell you the benefits, ike looking way younger than my age, less wrinkles, less prone to certain types of skin cancer.
Do research on which colours suit you better and you'll see magic happen.
Please do not use whitening products, the chemicals in those creams/treatments are really damaging to skin cells, and can lead to serious health issues.
Rise up melanin queens and kings,we got this!!

Here is a 20 year old Indian guy. You told everything so calmly, I have tears when I recall my childhood. I got weird names (like kala, kalua), my family is fair, i m dark, they always talk about color and etc every time. When going in a marriage, talk about skin volors of the partners. They say "you are a boy so being kala dosent matter" , i mean i hate them. Though I came out of all this bullshits a couple of years ago, and now I feel its good that I am dark. (My skintone is kinda like Rihanna for reff)..Dsaling with all this shitty prople and turning into spirituality I feel so much better now..To mention I am good with women as well now..but acc to me, India is one of the worst places to live in, no shittalk, its reality and fact..

Thank you for sharing!!! I have found in your video, more words of wisdom to share with my daughter. I struggled with these insincerities brought on by my family as a young girl. I had to struggle through and build character myself. Now, my 7 year old daugher who is just as dark as me, is now showing sutle signs and dropping small hints about her very dark-skin tone. Nothing major yet, but I can see that maybe she is having thoughts that her skin is not the best.

Hello ❤️ I just wanted to say that you are very, very beautiful. You helped me feel confident in myself. I am a dark-skinned girl and all my family and friends are white. The most cruel moments are when my friends say that they do not want to appear in the sun so that their skin does not tan, and I literally stand in front of them with my skin. Dark! I felt insulted and began to feel that there is no beautiful brown girl because I am the only brown girl I know. Seeing your beauty and confidence makes me feel happy ❤️ Here she is, a beautiful dark-skinned girl! I really wish I could start loving myself because no matter what color you are, the opinion of others doesn't matter, the important thing is to love yourself ❤️ I also want to be an example for young dark-skinned girls so they know that dark skin is beautiful ❤️ just like you

Also dark skin age slowly compared to fair skin... My father has two sisters elder one has really dark skin with green+brown mixed eyes she looks really unique now her age is 60 but looks like hardly 35-37 but younger sister who is 50 years old already looks like 70... I am not trying to be dramatic but it's true I haven't seen them for 5-7 years... this year only I have got a chance to meet with them in a wedding and it made speach less because I never thought my father's younger sister going to ended up look like this because she used to be considered prettier compared to other girls in our family 🙂

This is so interesting to me. I'm a very white guy in the UK (I have universal vitilligo), lots of people remark how pale I am, particularly in summer, as if it's a problem. I find it unbelievable this happens in India. I guess it says more about human nature than anything else. And btw, you are far from unpleasant looking! x

    • @KaamnaLive
      @KaamnaLive  2 ปีที่แล้ว

i am sorry for your experience. i know vitiligo is common and that people still react to it with shades of experience. In my experience there is a large part of the world (definitely Asia, North America and Europe) in which fairer skin is favored although it is changing some. More representation and more open conversations are helping with some of that. (and thank you!)

My classmates bullied me for being a dark skinned girl... because they were all fair skinned.. All teachers loved me... Bcz i was the topper of my class but those students kept descriminating me... I would say they were probably jealous but at that time i was so depressed and insecured about my skintone.. i just stopped going to the school and tuitions... My self confidence was broken down completely... I used to saw myself as a piece of shit literally i started to hate myself... Why do i look like this... Why i born with the dark skin... God could've gave me fair skin... I might've done something wrong and maybe its the karma .... Ik these thoughts are pretty shallow but i was 14y kid... I won't say that im not insecure today... Im still insecure about my skintone.... But started to accept that but
6 months ago i got into a relationship ... My bf has fair skintone.. and he kept flexing that having a fair skintone is kinda plus point girls always look at you... It made me feel more insecure... Somehow my insecurities gotten worse... After hearing those words... He was kept blabbing.. Like fair skin tone makes your pic enhanced when you're standing with someone darker person... I love him so much but i don't think he is the one for me...
He did motivated me not to be insecure about my skintone.. but why saying these shits to me...
I'm slowly loosing my self esteem...🥲
    I dunno what to do
Those old feelings are slowly coming back 🥲

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way and that you’ve had to endure this for so long. My advice is to try to find the beauty in your own skin color and don’t depend on other people to do it for you. And if your boyfriend knows this is something you are insecure about perhaps he could be a little more sensitive ? Hang in there my friend - times are changing. There’s a lot more representation of different skin colors in the media these days. Find someone that looks like you :)

I have heard extremely harsh comments growing up for the same reason from my classmates, teachers and even strangers just walking past by me. I have even been rejected by hell no of people because of my skin tone as for marriage ladki toh gori hi chahiye. I love my color and consider myself beautiful as well. I am also successful if having a good job is considered to be successful in someone's dictionary. But till date I am being rejected for the very same reason. A guy will list out all the qualities they want in women and will also realize that I possess all those but will still not choose me and will keep complaining that it is so difficult to find good girls these days.. my point is you can accept and love yourself but the society still needs to learn to accept you..else you have to fight this battle every single day to remind yourself that u r no less like bathing which is obviously not natural as we are already struggling to just be happy even if it is for few minutes everyday..so i agree about resilience but that still feels like a never ending process to me

Fair skin is not beuty it is ugly it is not lovely every one tell how it can be lovely the fair skin look like tubelight which irritate our eyes at long term we can see the muscles and red blood flowing inside this skin tone but beutiful brown skin look has naturally cooling effect to every eye sight at first look little melanin in this dusky skin tone will hide blood flow in lips and also hide the green veins running inside our body which has cooler look to our eyes fair skin look like doll but dusky skin look like original humans when we have conversation with fair skin person we can't able to talk to them freely after half an hour really our eyes get tears because of over brightness in their look but to dusky skin we can able to talk freely in so many hours because of their cool skin nature dusky won't get that much fine lines and crow feet in face at old age compare to fair skin so don't get self esteem in your heart by comparing your skin tone be happy with what you have by birth fair skin person don't want to tan to get brown skin and dusky don't want to be fair don't worry about your rejection be cool be happy
