I just got the 7 series in that here in the UK, there was only a few quid difference. Will be using it to keep the goatee in shape and to help with the fades in the home covid cuts 😂. All the best to you and the fam in 2021 Tony! Looking forward to 2021s content
Holy moly here in Denmark NO snow today very windy roaring outside leave the beard keeps the face warm in the winter snow great video and trim Merry Christmas stay safe, cheers...Peter
Hey just ordered mine... Without any attachments you can still adjust the length and keep stubble... right? I suspect the attachment are just for longer beards.
Thank for the review I have this exact model and I use it to trim my hair At the beginning it works pretty well But after maybe 4-5 minutes of trimming the clipper blade starts getting hot and eventually causes bad trimming and doesn't trim as good as the beginning and Should let it rest a couple of minutes to get cool then start trimming again. I mean if I don't let it cool it's fine but makes trimming process so longer And less accurate. Just wanted to know that have you faced such problem or not. Wanna know that everyone has experienced this or the problem is with my trimmer. Thanks
Plus I just saw your video completely I forgot to tell you that the back of the razor you used also edges up the hair on the moustache ,well I hope you already know that brah !
Yes, I know about the trimming blade on the back of the cartridge- I don’t use it much because I can get pretty good results with protected blades on the front.
@@averageguytested okay , is that precision trimmer any good (I mean the one on the back of the razor) ? I've never used it though , just know that it exists !
I don’t use it often because of the channel - I’m always shaving with new products so I don’t really do long-term usage reviews, but I will say that at its price point it would be a solid investment even if purchased new every so often.
minute 5, i see already that isnt strong enouph to cut the beard! Can ypu please tell me if you have ever used a shaving-head , does that works good ? thx
@@averageguytested okay I prefer a stache for myself , once I trimmed with the comb on and the stache vanished all of a sudden , my aim was to make sure that my stache hair don't dangle into my mouth but the result was strangely hilarious
Hey! Hope you'll see this comment, I usually use a trimmer to basically shave my neckbeard, does the trimmer itself work well for that with the guard taken off?
I’ve never tried that. For trimming neck beards I’d suggest OneBlade by Philips Norelco or for more of an investment- the brio Beardscape with zero blade
Bought one recently based on your review, Mountain Man! Loving it! You should approach the Braun Corporation for some financial 'feedback'! :) You can tell them I sent ya! :)
How loud does this trimmer get after a lot of use? I swear this has gotten louder after about 9 months. I remember it being much quieter when I first got it.
I haven’t used it long-term so I can’t give you an honest opinion. But you may want to add a small about of oil on the blades. Trimmers usually come with a tiny bottle of lube to keep the cutting mechanism in good working order.
As usual I didn’t bother reading the instructions & have been using the hair trimmer thing on my beard. Been thinking it’s crap at trimming 🤦🏽♂️. I wonder why blokes never read anything 🤷🏽♂️
@@averageguytested Haven’t been active for a bit now but will get back in the game soon brother. Work life is keeping me overwhelmingly busy but got a few ideas lined up for 2021.
Can someone comment on the build quality of the combs? I have an admittedly much cheaper hair clipper with this sliding style combs instead of the individual combs for each length and they are made of really cheap plastic that bends very easily. So you can't really rely on it to cut evenly. Also because the comb just moves away from the blades, it leaves a gap in between which gets filled with hair and you have to remove the attachment and shake it off every now and again. I'm also considering the Multigroom 7 from Philips which comes with individual combs. Might be more of a hassle but I think I might prefer it because of the aforementioned issues I've had with the other type of system. However, it seems that they don't give you enough combs for all lengths that you might need so I'm undecided. I'm looking for something that can be used as both a beard trimmer and a hair clipper.

I got this for Christmas and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get the sculpting attachment (at 10.08) in! Any suggestions, please? Thanks!
You just have to pull the existing head straight off. Try wiggling it from side to side if it doesn’t come right off.
Beard is looking pretty badass 🔥

best way to trim your beard is with trimmer for hair because it can cut much finer hair, you look way more sharper.
👍🏽
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas?!
You too, Sean!
My beard trimmer has multiple detachments but still simple, Also the detachments are washable!!!
They are washable! Loving this thing so fat!

Probably under 12 inches.
