Not sure if you keep up with comments on a 3 year old video, but it would be cool if you could do a video comparing a carb bike with the Lectron to a TPI If it really works that well it seems like a better alternative than the TPI for the back country folks to have less electronic parts dependency.
I have the 36mm lectron carb on my 01 300 exc. the original keihin was trashed, so the lectron was a easy choice for me. I love it! no fuss...no muss. just slapped it on and it works! I ride 2000'-7000' here in north idaho and haven't had to adjust it yet. its been on the bike for 3yrs now and its the best money I've spent.
Hey kyle! I finally got out and tested the lectron. You were right to tell me to hold off on adjusting it until I had a chance to ride it. Well, IT'S SIMPLY AWESOME!!! Once the bike was warm and I got the idle adjusted it ran very smooth and clean from bottom to top. The bike has excellent throttle response and power. The carb has also seemed to eliminate my spooge problem. Thanks again and keep those videos coming!
I've worked out the ins and outs of my Keihin and have my bike dialed from sea level to @4K feet or so. The Lectron being able to do that plus take me on up to @10K is truly amazing. I know at 4K feet I start to get a smidge rich so I couldn't go too much higher before performing the public service of fogging for mosquitoes. Thank you for the review, and Lectron should thank you as well because I think you've managed to sell a few for them here. :)
Great review Kyle. If you're ever in Connecticut I ride in a 9,000 acre state forest and there's a huge mix of different terrain. I just sold my 14' 300xc-w and picking up a 16' 300xc-w six days. Keep up the great work!
just bought one this morning, got their brand spankin new lectron hv 38 mm for my 2017 ktm , prob close to one of the first ones out, i havent seen anyone with them yet, im so pumped!
i bought it cause he said it was a "grunt monster" lol thats exactly what i want cause i cant get rid of the little bit of a bog i got in first and second, sick of messing with jetting.
and awesome cant wait to see the review on it, i should have mine by tuesday or something ,i cant wait, need to get some good riding in before the snow comes, its already starting to get pretty cold here in ontario.
I'm 15, and have a good dependable Toyota truck I already paid off, and I am buying a 2016 kx 250f, and I have a job, and I can afford it all! thanks dirt bike channel, your inspiration to me!
Awesome Kyle, thanks! I think I'll be getting one for the Husky at the end if January. I know how to tune my carb, but, if you don't have to, why would you?!
I ride and I can tune and I can't believe you didn't look at the plug! 2 strokes run crisp and clean when jetted probably but they also run that way when there a bit on the lean side and can pop! LOL if you know what I mean that's why I always take the plug out and read it bro! I have watched a few of your videos and u give good solid information for the people who need it! 👍that's why u got a new sub! BRAAAAAAAP!
got my lectron carb installed last weekend, loved it.worked awesome right out of the box.smoother power, good power right from down low, used less gas, started first kick every time.went to fire her up today and wont fire at all,has spark, new plug and piston only a few hours old,not sure what to do
My brother in law and i are going to get bikes soon. Im going KTM XCW300 and he is going the Husqvarna TE300. Pretty much the same thing but we are both really excited and im glad o stumbled upon you for some reference :)
For even easier way of putting the slide in,I glue the top gasket to the top cover,so it stays in place for good. And if you have reason to take the slide out without removing the tank, just loosing the hoseclamps and tilt the carb sideways.
I put a 38mm Smarcarb on my 2011 300XC and this thing rips! Stock size is 36mm, but they older ones used 38 so I went to a 38 and I can pull a 5th gear power wheelie easy! Much more throttle control is needed for sure in the twisties. I'm sure the Lectron would be similar.
I've got three rides (about 8 hours) on my Lectron carb on my 2019 YZ250X. My stock carb was good. But I ride in Eastern Oregon...4500 feet at home, and can be at about 9500 feet during my rides near home. Temps also vary from early Spring 40s....to Summer 100s. My stock carb did great up to about 7500 feet...then would have some throttle bog at 9000 feet in mid range. The Lectron was easy install. Started 2nd kick. Since install it starts first kick every time. But my stock carb did too! The biggest difference is that throttle response is crisp low, mid, and top. I actually have to be more careful because it now responds instantly. Tire lofts when you want it too. Low and mid are PERFECT. I dont get up into top end too much...so I'll report on that later. People report fuel savings...but I jokingly say my fuel consumption will go way up...because I'll be riding so much more now. Money well spent.
Could this carb cause the bike to run lean and or lead to a damaged head and cylinder that would require a rebuild? Buying a used bike with a Lectron makes one leery as to if the carb may have been modded and if it could cause more problems than it's worth.
I'm considering getting a Lectron for my Beta xtrainer. Will need to call them to see if their carbs are compatible with the beta oil injection system. Thanks for all the info in this vid!
Doubt they have tuned it for Maicos. Another carb I've been curious about is the PSI Big Air carb since it's jet less as well, you just need to do external screw adjustments to tune.
+lifetime13 They are used in race application, such as side-car racing (which has won world championships on zabel 700cc which is a Maico base engine for 10 straight years) and even supermoto. I collect Maicos myself and I have the 700cc just for some amateur enduro racing. I have 10 Maicos from 440cc to 500cc and up so it's not like I have 1 bike to ride. Typically I trail ride the 490 and 500s. The 700 doesn't get the gas mileage you would want for long trail rides even. However, it is a unique piece for someone that does like to collect the variation of Maicos from the early 80s to today. I didn't just get it to have a huge bike or I'd be getting a CR650 liger and KTM 550, etc. I specifically get bikes Maico has made preferably big bores for hill climbs.
Maybe I'll have to re-visit Lectron and have a look at their stuff. I was right in the center of things moto racing both dirt and road when they first appeared. They were used by the top teams then, but not because they were better. It was the money. In all my dyno and track testing done in the seventies and eighties, the Lectrons did give more peak horsepower than the round slide Mikuni and Keihin carbs. The Lectron fell way short in overall mixture control, so the VM Mikuni, for example, while a little down on peak power, carbureted better over the useful RPM band. That translates into a bike that's easier to ride and better lap times. When the Japanese carb mfgs made flat slides, the Lectron was, in my opinion relegated to the shelf. I'll look at them again as I still focus mainly on carbureted bikes. John at Baldy Mesa Cycle
Just wondering how the bikes runs on slightly opened throttle (just off idle) in a cruise situation in high gear. Is there any reduction in the blubbering that you get in this scenario? I ride on the street a lot and although its fun to be on and off the gas all the time it draws unwanted attention. Thanks!
Looking into the Lectron carb for my 300. I live in CO and I'm always rejetting as I ride at elevations from 13000 in CO to 4500 in Utah. Do you continue to run Saber at 90:1 with this carb?
My understanding from what friends have said about this carb is it seems easy to adjust but that's based on only single circuit metering. The real issue is that they all have lean deceleration & that can increase wear on the piston/cylinder. Definitely need to meter the throttle slowing down from high speeds, hill decents.
Thanks.. very informative channel....Lectron install and eval was excellent prompting a purchase from Lectron for my 250SX. Jeff More Cow Bell RacingDaytona Beach
Great review Kyle, I just might have to buy one. One weekend im riding at 800' in dunes or desert wide open the next I'm riding at a trail that starts at 2000' and goes up to 700'...than Im riding in between at around 3000'..with temperatures ranging from hot summer 90 to 100 degree temps down low and 70 degrees up high... Now in the winter its all desert wide open riding in 30 to 50 degree weather... I had installed a jd jet kit and set it to 2k -6k feet but it didnt impress me, boggy / slugish down low and lost top end.
thanks for the review, I will get one for my Beta 300, no more jetting is very cool!....you need to do some sort of a review on the S3 head you've got on your bike too...
I got a dr650 stock carb. I live around dc at around sea level. I take it to the Rockies every summer. It only start to feel like a dog at 10,000 ft. So I feel like 0-5000 in my experience wouldn’t really make much of a difference if your carb is adjusted right. I wonder how it will perform at 12-14k above sea level.
Any update on this? Did you keep using the lectron? What about the 38mm on your 2017? I'm specifically interested in the mileage if you did you did use it for several months. Did you find yourself getting better mileage on a tank of gas? I know a lot of guys don't really pay attention to that and just ride, but I really want to be able to get over 100km (60miles) on a tank. After a lot of reading it does seem like 80% of riders experience nice gains, but I'd be interested to hear an update from you given that I appreciate your opinion/videos. BTW, do you use keywords for your videos? When I try to search them (for example: 250) it seems like every single video shows up. I guess that's both good and bad. Good in that people can easily find your videos, but bad in the sense that it makes it difficult to find a bike/product specific video.
Looking over your shoulder I don't see the throttle cable hanging down... Have you changed or rerouted it since the install video? Love the vids keep up the good work. P.S. I want to move to Utah!
+Jeffrey Dean Holy cow you are an eagle eye! Yes, I rerouted it to go just behind my number plate. It was a bit too long with the way I routed it initially.
Realize this vid isn't recent, but thoughts on throttle pull effort? My bikes are always maintained top notch and I love my controls feathery light. A heavier pull effort at the throttle might feel synonymous with a bike that isn't maintained for me. I know that's a small price to pay, more just curious if you noticed anything as I've heard some have.
So did I understand you right that after you got the needle set its just a matter of adjusting the idle from ride to ride? I got mine at Thanksgiving and have it mounted but not tested. so far it seems to hesitate just off idle and I'm thinking about leaning it out a bit to try and get that crisp throttle response.
+Brian Falcon In most cases, you won't have to touch anything but the idle. Did you say you haven't ridden it? Just remember, you need to make sure to really have the bike warm before making any judgements about how it runs.
Do lektrons incorporate an accelerator pump like the 4 stroke Keihins , because those are a bitch to dial in. Im just getting back into the game after a 10 year hiatus. Training up my my moto fitness on a wr250f. I love wrenching as much as riding but gosh has jetting and dialing in that thing been a biatch to eliminate the bog. Next bike will be a KTM300 and this carb has peaked my curiosity.. Less is more
Kyle, I stripped the threading on oem carb for my 2016 ktm 250 xcw. So I am unable to properly install the throttle cable cap. Should I get oem or lectron? Now I understand the differences between oem and lectron but what about reliability ? Which would you rely on more?
I'm at sea level here in Boston, sometimes even a little below. What we do have here is massive temperature changes. It's supposed to be around 0 this weekend and a few weeks ago it was 62 degrees. It can shift almost that wildly inside of 24 hours. do you feel that this carburetor responds to temp as well as it responds to elevation changes? Thank you.
Hey Kyle, maybe you said in the last Lectron video but that was a while ago. What was the cost of this? And did anything have to be adjusted to work with the Slavens head or is that part of adjusting the rod in general?
+J Sem By the time you get a throttle cable you are close to $400 for the carb depending on the application. I dind't need do do anything with mine to make it work with the slaven's head. Most guys won't need to touch the carb after getting it from Lectron. I leaned mine out a touch because I ride at high altitude.
That's way cheaper than I thought. After considering the Slavens high altitude jet kit and new jets/needles for 30deg-90deg temps in Eastern Utah that isn't a huge excess. Hmmm, now how to convince the wife...
Hey buddy... Awesome video! I ride a Husa 250 and live in Colorado, so this is a must. We ride anywhere from 4500 in eastern Colorado to 13,000 ft in western Colorado. I'm definitely going to get one for my bike, but my girlfriend rides a 2015 KLX140. I've been struggling to get that thing where it can run in Denver and still run well up at 10k plus. Do you think lectron makes a smaller carb that would work on hers with some tuning? I want to say it's like a 28mm
i recently got back into 2 strokes again after 10yrs. picked up a 96 RM 125 in good condition. i live in PA just outside Philly, don't have many friends here where i moved. my question is that i road the bike in August thru Sept an put it away in my garage. my buddy told me that i should have put fuel stabilizer in it plus a few other things. soon the weather will change here an i can't wait to get riding!! if the bike doesn't start what do u recommend i do to get her going. never had any probs at all over the summer with it so im guessing just a tune up? im just not sure. might sound stupid but im used to 4 strokes...any thing u can tell me will be appreciated!!! love your channel an thanks for all the videos. been learning a lot watching u...thanks
+Iamaze621 W Fuel stabilizer is not a bad idea when it's going to sit for some time. Having said that, I think if you go out there and run your bike once a month for a few minutes, that would help too. That is what I do. I'm guessing you won't have any problems and it will start right up. If it doesn't start, pull the carb off, pull the jets out and and clean things out with a compressed air.
I just put a deposit on a ktm 250 exc 2017 run out model. I asked about adding this but here in Australia the dealer sets up the jetting etc on the standard carb so they feel it is a non issue. They do recommend however, adding a performance head and vforce reeds. What is your thoughts? Noting I have come from a 450 TE Husky 2013. Love your videos, great effort.
Great videos! I just got a Lectron for my 300xc. What adjustments did you make when going to 80:1 Saber? Also, how many turns for going from sea level one weekend to 8k feet the next. Keep up the good work, it's appreciated.
+Darrell Peck You don't need to touch it if you are only going to 8K feet. Mine ran great even at 11K. No adjustments needed for running saber at 80:1.
Your review has got me thinking... Between temp. changes and riding between 5000 and 10000 feet, it might be really cool to have one of these, and not have to deal with jetting.
+Jimstigator I can ride from my garage, but that gets old sometimes. If I put the bike in the truck, the average drive for me is about an hour one way to get to a good riding area other than the one near my house.
I watched the installation video ,and this video , lectron carb sounds great ,can you tell me if it's easier to start your bike with the kick start with lectron vs your stock carb? thanks and great videos !!
Hello boss, I saw your review on Lectron carburetor what you think about the installation on my ktm 2017? I have the problem that the delivery is not linear and torque is sharp and the bass spotty, some advise me the Keihin 36, is better Lectron ?, thank you very much
One out of topic question. What exactly do you do (job/work) that helps you fund this bike passion? I'm just curious. Because one KTM bike is already off the roof on the cost. Much less have 2, and a bike for each of your kids and other bikes at that....
I have my new Beta at home already. Just waiting Lectron to sort out the throttle positioning system for their lectron to allow Beta 2016 MY oil injection. What is the tank mileage you usually get with Lectron on an average mixed track?
+michail1963 I honestly don't have a great (accurate) way of measuring that. I don't have an odometer and each trail I ride is so different. Terrain make a HUGE difference and how hard I'm riding.
Hello one question.. have you heard about SmartCarb, and what is your thought... i have a pretty good deal on one so i don't know what way to go if electron or smart carb...
Would you suggest this carburetor for someone always riding between sealevel and max 2000ft elevation? Temperature here is constant year round, between 85 to 90 degrees and high humidity (tropical rain forest)
It would do great for you I'm sure. You wouldn't get as big of a benefit as many others where temp and altitude vary more, but it would still work great.
Are you in Costa Rica, or central America? If so, the lectron is your sure bet! That part of the world you can go from sea level to 4,000ft in no time! I rode southern Costa Rica (Pavones and surrounding), and the sharp elevation changes made huge performance changes with the tmx i was running. Its almost impossible to jet correctly there. A lectron eliminates all those problems!
+Khaos Films yes I saw him blip it in first . I run the ice . wondering if at full throttle the performance is better or similar to stock jetted set up . ?
+Landon Hillyard A patented metering rod...getting one for my razor, thank you Google! Oh, and thank you Kyle there, I first learned of this from a mention several months ago? I believe...I go from sea level to the lakes..I'm hoping it will be a big help.
I might have to give them a call. This is important because when you go up in elevation the o2 concentration decreases and therefor the fuel mixture must decrease. Its fairly common to see a swing of 6 inHg before a storm hits. Thats the equivalent pressure change of 2000 vertical feet in elevation. How does the carb tell the difference between the two? With the change in weather the o2 concentration would stay the same, but with the elevation obviously it doesn't. The only really accurate way to know how much fuel to inject is to one, measure atmospheric o2 concentration or 2 measure the amount of unburnt 02 after combustion and adjust accordingly(fuel injection). I would like to see how they did this in a carb.
You know there is quiet a lot of money in this carb buisness. I'll bet you could do some really awesome review videos with this device(www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/lm2.php) and get some actual readings during your ride at different elevations. That would really tell us if the carb is performing as advertised.
Well I don't know about anyone else, but I'm sold... Next two stroke bike I get is getting a lectron. I only ride at about sea level to about 1,000 ft... But when it goes between 5 degrees F to 98+ F should give similar results. I know how to tune, I just hate it, I want to get on my bike and ride, not dick around tuning. (I've been off the riding scene for about 9 years, for reasons I don't want to explain I can't ride a dirt bike anymore... But I've been thinking about getting an old TRX250R or a Banshee for beach riding)... Always loved two strokes, other than constantly having to re-jet and tune... Seems like lectron is the answer to that bullshit. All my YZ, CR, RM bikes always needed to be tuned constantly or they got all spoogey out the pipe and fouled plugs when it was hot out, or they pinged when it was cold out. I could tune it to run good, but it was a pain in the ass. (Except my 86 YZ490, I don't think anyone could tune that thing, what a piece of shit... It was fast as hell though, for the few minutes it would run right)
My 2002 ktm 250 has a 38mm carb. My friend has a 2003 which has a 36mm. I'm curious how much of a difference that makes. Hopefully I can get a chance to ride his before It snows. I've ridden his 250 before I got mine, but that was a year ago. P.S. We both have ours perfectly tuned.
Can you set me straight about the lectron carb ? First I have a 2018 Husqvarna TE300 and would like to try one but I’m confused alittle, Slaven said they sell a modified one called the mule hv and I emailed lectron and they said it’s the same as they sell, is there two different models a mule HV and a stock model?
I have the same bike and experience a low end bog in the low revs of the throttle. Did this carb address or fix an issue like that? Many Thanks in advance for helping!!

I have as a MC dealer sold or mounted Lectrons since they came onto the marked to about 200 motorcycles and not a single complaint from any customer.
For even easier way of putting the slide in,I glue the top gasket to the top cover,so it stays in place for good. And if you have reason to take the slide out without removing the tank, just loosing the hoseclamps and tilt the carb sideways.

Just wondering how the bikes runs on slightly opened throttle (just off idle) in a cruise situation in high gear. Is there any reduction in the blubbering that you get in this scenario? I ride on the street a lot and although its fun to be on and off the gas all the time it draws unwanted attention. Thanks!
Excellent carb
They have been out for a long time I put one on my new 77 KTM 250
just hit this trail 2 weeks ago.... seriously fun stuff.... and technical
+Jacare1973 It's got more than one circuit.
Good video. I'm also in Utah, and would love to see trail names when you're showing riding clips.
How does it work when playing with different expansion chambers and ported cylinders
How about the smartcarb? any experience
Thanks.. very informative channel....Lectron install and eval was excellent prompting a purchase from Lectron for my 250SX.

+Obed M. Yeah, I think this would solve your issue.
thanks for the review, I will get one for my Beta 300, no more jetting is very cool!....you need to do some sort of a review on the S3 head you've got on your bike too...
+mike.k Yeah, I need to get around to talking about that one too.
Hello can you post the sparkplug of the bike to see the colour ?!
Curious if you’d try the smart carb next. Compare the differences. I’m thinking of one or the other for an older 300 Exc.
I was putting lectrons on Yamaha warriors and Honda 400ex and 300ex full built flat track atv’s back I. The mid 90’s.
How would you say the bike does on increase in fuel economy with the Lectron Carb?
Do you think it is a worthy upgrade over stock carburator? Or should i keep this money for maintenance. Since my carb is running ok.
Realize this vid isn't recent, but thoughts on throttle pull effort? My bikes are always maintained top notch and I love my controls feathery light. A heavier pull effort at the throttle might feel synonymous with a bike that isn't maintained for me. I know that's a small price to pay, more just curious if you noticed anything as I've heard some have.
what trail is the single track? The main road looks like white river. I spend a lot of time up there but the single track doesn't look familiar
Did u seem to lose any bottom end? @dirtbikechannel Thinking of grabbing one for my 16 250xc.
Less is more
Such a simple carb and it works great. I purposely just got an '18 300 XC so I could avoid TPI and stay with the Lectron.
Thank you.
+johnpaulstez From what I've seen on my rides, yes.
Quick question, when you replace gaskets on your carb do you put them in dry or use a sealant?
I'm definitely thinking of buying one!
+Raul Caro I think you'd like it.
Hi, did you notice any difference after messing with the metoring Rod?
Can say something about the fuel consumtion between the 2 Carbs?
If I had to guess just from all of the videos I've watched, I'd say Kyle works for Bravo Company lol. Great videos
I don't work for them, but I've got a few parts from them for my rifles. Uppers, lowers, charging handles, stocks... you know :)
Hey is that American Fork Canyon that your riding in there?
What is the cost of these Lectron Carburetors ?
So do you now add a Lectron to all your bikes?
just as i come in off the bike for some lunch , you have a new video :) good stuff
+Ryan s Lunch? It's more like dinner time here :)
Will I have to do an thing to the lectron? my bike is a KTM 125sx with an aftermarket header and exaust.
+Skyler Hager I'd give them a call. They probably have something for it.
i recently got back into 2 strokes again after 10yrs. picked up a 96 RM 125 in good condition. i live in PA just outside Philly, don't have many friends here where i moved. my question is that i road the bike in August thru Sept an put it away in my garage. my buddy told me that i should have put fuel stabilizer in it plus a few other things. soon the weather will change here an i can't wait to get riding!! if the bike doesn't start what do u recommend i do to get her going. never had any probs at all over the summer with it so im guessing just a tune up? im just not sure. might sound stupid but im used to 4 strokes...any thing u can tell me will be appreciated!!! love your channel an thanks for all the videos. been learning a lot watching u...thanks
Ok thanks...I'll go start it up tomorrow. It's raining here now...appreciate it!!

More time Riding, less time playing with the Carb.
Loved the new intro keep up
+Mean MachinePT You hit the nail on the head.
Impressive vid. Solid Information. Good explanation.
Emil Parthenides I’ve got one I’m in Australia’s on a yz125 and holy fucking shit it makes a difference
+Mark Tegeder Yes, I've not touched it other than leaning it a bit when I got it.
Might have me sold on one. I ride tons of varied altitudes, i'm not a big fan of tuning carbs. So this seems to be the way.
+Gnarlington Yeah, it's a pretty cool carb.
+Dirt Bike Channel I figured you got to ride daily! Similar to me - have to squeeze it in between work. How far you generally have to travel to ride?
+Jimstigator I can ride from my garage, but that gets old sometimes. If I put the bike in the truck, the average drive for me is about an hour one way to get to a good riding area other than the one near my house.
I watched the installation video ,and this video , lectron carb sounds great ,can you tell me if it's easier to start your bike with the kick start with lectron vs your stock carb? thanks and great videos !!
+Andreas enduro It's the same. No noticeable difference in starting it.
Hello boss, I saw your review on Lectron carburetor what you think about the installation on my ktm 2017? I have the problem that the delivery is not linear and torque is sharp and the bass spotty, some advise me the Keihin 36, is better Lectron ?, thank you very much
any changes in overall power delivery or gains/losses? And notice MPG gains?
One out of topic question. What exactly do you do (job/work) that helps you fund this bike passion? I'm just curious. Because one KTM bike is already off the roof on the cost. Much less have 2, and a bike for each of your kids and other bikes at that....
+shogrran I do sales for an IT company. I work a lot too :)
Dirt Bike Channel Great. Now I can ask you entirely non-bike related questions. Like how do I troubleshoot this storage array.
+Dirt Bike Channel Thank you.
still rocking this setup? I'm debating going to this setup in the fall.
+Backyard Boosters yes, I am still using this setup and I'm very pleased with it.
+Dirt Bike Channel Cool deal I'll give it a go!
How do you get your bike so clean? do you do a full pull down and polish the exhaust all the time?
+Enduro Trail Riding I have a video that shows how I clean my bike. Check it out.
+Dirt Bike Channel awesome will watch
he has a video about him cleaning it
Hello one question.. have you heard about SmartCarb, and what is your thought... i have a pretty good deal on one so i don't know what way to go if electron or smart carb...
+Gabriel Rittner I haven't had any experience with a Smart carb. Love my lectron though.
I want to try one on my 19’ 125 sx
So is this basically an auto altitude compensator?
10babiscar Pretty much..
Love your channel man keep it up! Where are you in Utah?
Is this a good product for mx racing on my husky tc250 would you have to mess with it if you have fmf pipes?
I have read that these carbs run out of fuel when in a wheelie. Is that true?
+aftaflash Nope. Not true.
how is the 38mm at wide open throttle power wise compared to youre stock keihen ?? the video mentions not much w.o.t riding . thank you .
he juices it in first on the review
+Khaos Films yes I saw him blip it in first . I run the ice . wondering if at full throttle the performance is better or similar to stock jetted set up . ?
He did full throttle it dude. He didbt blip it, he kept it pinned untilbhe was well at 4 o' clock
off topic question. what bend Neken bars are you running?
care to elaborate on how the carb meters with changing altitude.
+Landon Hillyard I'll let the Lectron sales guys do the elaboration. Call them up and they'll give you the crash course on it.
+Landon Hillyard A patented metering rod...getting one for my razor, thank you Google! Oh, and thank you Kyle there,
I first learned of this from a mention several months ago? I believe...I go from sea level to the lakes..I'm hoping it will
be a big help.
Yes, give them a call. This company has been around for over 30 years. It's a solid design.
It was fast as hell though, for the few minutes it would run right)
still waiting for fuel injection. they did it few years ago in aussieland with a CR500. wonder why its still not out for consumers
+Turbojuugend Cost/complexity, and weight.
+Johnathan Yinger A larger carb is usually better off for top-end power, but they lose on the bottom.
+jonno85uk I've read that before, but haven't had the chance to experience it.
Ihave a 2016 ktm 250 xcw I wanna get Lectron or smart carb what are your thoughts.
Will this work on older bikes?
Love the carb hate the throttle and cable. Anyone know how to modify the factory throttle and cable to the lectron? OH 17 KTM 250xc
