i'm still using this WD element 1TB since 2014..still working perfect..health condition 70% (Hard disk sentinal pro test)

That is good info for an empty drive. I have loaded mine with data from my Win 10 laptop. Now I need software for my new Win 11 laptop. The computer recognizes the drive but I can't get info off it. What's going on??

What if the drive is not appearing anywhere on the pc?? This is not a new hard drive and I do have files on it that I do not want to lose! It worked on my old pc, but the new pc (windows 10) is not recognizing it at ALL! I cannot seem to find helpful information on this anywhere. Are you able to help?

I just bought a new 5TB WD Elements HDD. There’s a program inside the external hard drive. I clicked and it run the installation. But it was stuck at 18%. It says installing 18%. But it’s been like this for a very long time. What should I do?

@@Michyy I aborted installation restarted and tried again and it worked. It happens to most installations and WD didn’t bother fixing the shit
