I am asking because in the future I might only use Linux on a NAS and I would only use Windows on an External Hard Drive. Every computer is a little bit different in terms of settings, bios .etc also is this using persistence? Or not maybe that's just for other storage media. I guess if I ejected it nothing would load until I choose the EHD to boot from right? Still this is fascinating I bet more people use it like this.:-)

I used WintoUSB to install Windows to one of the partitions, but when I boot my USB device, it says "select a proper boot device". I think the issue is with not selecting the boot partition with has the Windows OS. Can you help me with installing this with different partitions?
its not on your ssd lol its on what your pc is set to if your pc is made after 2014 then chose GPT for UEFI If it was made before 2014 then use mbr for bios

You just have to install the display drivers for whatever device you are using, if you are using HP computer, then search on web for your hp computer model and then all the drivers will display. You can choose whatever driver you want to install, in your case, install latest display driver, then it will be 100% fixed.

Hello! No you do not have to reinstall windows, it will stay on the hard drive so all you need to do is boot into it

If u have 1tb hard disk then divide it into half as 500gb then install for empty partition
Just create new partition, 8 Gb or 16 and install the OS in the partition.
