The first thing that goes when you've had an alcoholic drink is your judgement.
Alcohol effects your decision making skills. It can make you do something you never would have thought you'd do, like drink and drive.
The worst part of being a state trooper is notifying the family of a death by vehicle accident due to alcohol. Please don't drink and drive. Call a parent or a relative, find a sober friend, or call a taxi or Uber. It's a decision to not drink that you can make ahead of time. It can save you and your family a lot of heartache.
