09:04 - "uses penalty parameter (only correct if strain goes towards infinity)", could someone explain this? shouldnt it be "only correct if contact surface goes towards infinity"?
Hi bro, do not be confused with strain, it is not strain symbol that goes to infinity. That symbol is referred to penalty parameter which is used in the contact mechanical equations. And the limit of this penalty parameter should go to zero or closer to zero in order to give an accurate contact pressure.
