- Beginning November 14th, Hellboy joins the roster of Injustice 2 for players who have Early Access! As a member of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense, Hellboy has defended the world from fiends, witches, demons and more than a few Lovecraftian Gods. With his trusty revolver and his Right Hand of Doom, Hellboy has made monster disposal his specialty.

I hate that they did the Ambidextrous Sprite trope for him. So annoying once you notice it. Just can't unsee it.
The hand of doom thing is the only part of him in the game i dislike, the switching is weird.
What is an ambidextrous sprite trope?
@@rad1kalblu3s34 his big stone hand is supposed to be on the right arm but because of the way they programmed it, the hand switches from his right to left arm repeatedly
@rad1kalblu3s34 when facing the other direction instead of just having the character model face the other way they mirror his model so that the Fist is always the right one for the attack animation, since the characters always do their animations towards the screen so they're always visible to the players. You'll get Aquaman attacking with his spear left handed, Wonder Woman will swap her sword & shield, all characters will swing with their non-dominant hand on strong hits, etc.
Loved how hellboy's right hand of doom kept jumping arms while he was fighting xD

Animation errors. They always forget which is the right hand side thinking it won't make much of a difference since they're not gonna always be facing the right hand side.

+James Jones It's not a stance switch thing, his Right Hand of Doom swaps arms depending on the move he's using and it's honestly visually irritating. Even if it were due to stance switching, so what? 3D models don't have to mirror like hand-drawn 2D ones used to.

Marvel Vs Capcom did the same thing with Spencer. His Bionic Arm switches sides depending on what side of the screen he's on.

Even though I would love spawn to be in this game, I would rather have him in mk11 because of how brutal the character is.
Bat Link Nah it's Rorschach. The silhouette in the character select matches and there's is going to be a Watchmen x Justice league comic series coming next month. So it's a good promotion, and every dlc is a promotion for a show, movie and etc. Ed boon made a vote poll on Twitter to see if people want to see a Watchmen character and %80 said yes. It's Rorschach no doubt about it.

No in the injustice comic his arc ended when he fought and made a deal with trigon to leave earth alone and then he faded out of existance with his daughter telling batman that he was done fighting and wanted a peaceful life with his daughter

Why does Hellboy always looks like he skipped Leg day? And this isn't a critic of the in-game character model because its on point. He looks like that in the comics too.

Not gonna lie, I expected him to be a zoner, or a cross between Erron Black and Jax, but if his Watchtower stream satisfies me, he will definitely be one of my mains. And so far, the gameplay looks swell.
That passive he uses looks good.

Yeah, it looks like it could come in handy in grave situations, for example, if your opponent is winning against you, and you can just activate it then make a great comeback.
just imagine if there were 4 character reveals instead of 3 in the last fighter pack. That would be epic.

Hellboy is so badass in Injustice 2 video game and he's the most underrated and badass character in the comics and media over the past years. Hellboy is the best comic book character that ever exist in the comic books.

Hellboy looks really good.
Everyone near him is a manlet.
To be fully honest his Super seems a little weak but it's still really cool just having him in the game. He doesn't really have much of an interesting moveset either. Not hating, I'm happy with what we got.
Yeah. To be fair, he doesn't bring too much things we've never seen before, and in my humble opinion the Super was pretty awesome, but if you think otherwise, I'm cool with that.
Give us MOTU! Consider that Evil-Lyn sees within her mystic orb a power on Earth that allows travel between realities (brother eye). Skeletor heads to Earth to obtain B-eye then use it to travel to a reality in which Castle Grayskull has no guardian, thus simplifying his goal to gain the power hidden within. The Sorceress senses the threat and sends He-man and She-ra to Earth to stop Skeletor and destroy Brother Eye. The twins must face god-like beings who challenge them to prevent B-eye's destruction. There's your next DLC pack. You're welcome.
His Super isn’t as cool as some other ones, but other than that great looking gameplay. Very cool.
Falling down to hell, beating Atrocitus senseless and then being raided by demons was pretty cool. The final hit just needed to be bigger.
I'm actually a little disappointed they didn't have him use Excalibur. Yea, Hellboy can use Excalibur. Not kidding.

It needs a Hell with the capital city in the background... dead people...oops zombies? Uh,oh, I mean skeletons, yeah skeletons, let's keep it kid friendly, skeletons with spears jammed in them as a background weapon toss. A lava waterfall...and then some kind of level wall break that takes the fighting inside the throne room where Hellboy has his crown floating above his throne... and of course the set has to look like the comic....

imagine on injustice 3, they get another darkhorse comics character The Mask, with possibly Jim Carrey Reprising his role (not too sure if that might happen if they get the mask possibly, if not, may as well get rob pauslon from the animated series, like Spawn's Voice from the HBO Animated Series on Mortal Kombat 11)

Because the Devs were lazy with the fighting animations.... what do expect from a dlc that sadly costs $8 ?? Even Warner Bros wanted $5 from a DLC Orc Character that was in the likeness of a real life man who died from BRAIN CANCER, and they told us only certain regions money will be donated NOT ALL SALES... so what happened? Warner Bros caved in, and made it FREE.

Hellboy should have turned into the giant demon he becomes at the end of Hellboy in Hell, he has wings and his horns are solid and on fire, his aura is fire and is surrounded by tiny winged demons too!

Jojo* You can find Jonathan and Joseph in J-Stars Victory Vs along with quite a few other anime characters. The only game I know of that has Jotaro in it doesn't look that fun, but I haven't played it so my word doesn't mean much.
