- Catholic High School in Huntsville Alabama talent show. The band held two practices and then played the show. Members were like 16 - 18 years old. And Zeppelin did have a bass in the tune. John Paul Jones started it on keyboard and finished it on his Precision in a 1971 concert tour just before the Album was released.
loved the solo but I just hate when people use too much distortion on solos
XxANDY2047Xx yeah jimmy didn’t use much distortion, just an overdriven tone, but it was *very* nasally.
the best part of the performance was the guitar solo because he played it well, the drums and accompaniment was on par, and there was no singing
the drummer sucked. no power
very very rock sound but vocals sucks
William Oliveaux Jake kyzka (spelling) comes close but it’s too obvious

These talent shows guys are awesome. They just usually play it too damn fast cause they get too into it and it almost ruins it imo.

ok dirty jersey, the singer is a real good drummer, unfortunately...he was the only one that can sing worth a flip in that group. the bassist is extremely good, the lead guitar (man in the white suit) is a god with an axe in his hand, the guy with the blue guitar hadn't played quite as long as the rest of them and the last guitar just wanted to play. so back off man. they only got together to practice......2 or 3 times
Everthing was good exept that singer. im not chrashing on his voice type but it seems like put no efort into singing he was just all mono tone like like at the lyrics with "and as we wind on down the road" that was horible there was no emfises in the voice no passion no emotion no nothing at all it was like he was talking with a bit of rythem
i agree with most of the comments the singer really needs to put more effort into everythin the drummer cant wait to finish the lead was ok for the kids who are listening to this music write on carry on rocking btw whos are your favorite bands mine is metallica and led zeppelin i cant decide between them
i find it funny that its called catholic high school and this song is considered "demonic". I guess they didnt care because it wasnt being played backwards, anyways nice cover dude. better than most
yea but it just seems like alot of teenagers only no about Radio rock, ACDC, Zeppelin, Sabbath, which are good (except ACDC) but there is alot more music out there.
probably because they want the audience to actually know the song and many kids have guitar hero so guitar hero songs r good to play at talent shows

when you do a cover you want to make it somewhat original but not too orginal their just trying to do something new
well you do know that all the songs taht were on guitar hero existed BEFORE guitar hero
Amazing! You have 3 Jimmy Page's ;). I'm planning on doing this song with my band at a concert sometime next year... This is a great performance that should be our model.

that was awesome! i saw some videos where ppl screwed the whole song up, and i saw one where they completely bypassed the intro. u guys did it perfect.
One thing I hate. Guitar player's that only play a solo. He did a great job on it but that's like all he did. He played 3 chords then.

@BandPassion im 15 and i could tell you any pink floyd song name. the album more, the pulse album which is a live album, zabrisie point which not alot of people know about, meddle, piper at the gates of dawn and many more. i also have all led zeppelin including their full royel albert hall concert. which features my favourite zeppelin song white summer black mountainside. just saying young people arent all ass clowns.
Ok, seeing as I (along with alliekat) are the only ones who were actually there, let me make this clear. This is the annual talent show at Catholic High School in Huntsville, Alabama. and yes, the man in the white suit is a guitar GOD!! The moment after this he played "For the Love of God" by Steve Via. He won. He still plays guitar and is now a greater guitar GOD!!

whenever someone does a cover a zeppelin song it never sounds right because of the singing, dont get me wrong it was good, but it is hard to sound like plant, overall it was good though.
