Going out on a personal limb here to say that as a child survivor of sexual assault perpetrated by a neighbour, I would feel highly triggered by this type of touch technique by a stranger.
Anthony makes it perfectly clear in every one of his videos/sessions that if at any moment during the session ,anything feels off, or uncomfortable , you can adress it , you can speak to him/let him know. i'm sorry if the peaceful and caring nature of the touches you see in his videos make you connect with the memory of someone deceivingly using this kind of touches to take advantage of you , and it is absolutely not your fault for what happened, but moving forward you must try and discern between good and bad intentions more clearly , and maybe someday you'll be able to receive such care from a stranger and once again be able to not fear this type of human contact. it's just a dirty windshield you're looking out through, the weather is not actually always bad outside :) peace!
The touch of an AT teacher is completely non-invasive and without desire for any particular end. It's both informative and empty of any desire (if that makes any sense to you). It never demands the person go further than they feel comfortable with. In fact the body will prevent that and the teacher will pick it up. It's one of the reasons our training takes 3 years.
@@Britbabe53 Certainly, anyone with exceptional touch anxiety will need to talk with their teacher. Lessons are, or certainly should be, as free from anxiety as possible. Lessons might well be one of the best tools for recovering from the self-absence of trauma.
I’m thinkin we’re back 👑
i want more from Anthony! The ASMR community needs him :D
So wonderful to see a follow up to one of the best Alexander Technique videos out there. Thank you for sharing this!!
Love it ❤

@@carolinedale2544 Yes, I fully realize, my comment was more one of a triggered brain taking over common sense in this situation.
