    This video right here is the reason I fell in love with the gmt800. Got myself a 2002 gmc Yukon red color. Looking to do the same tire and wheel setup and some upgrades. Please keep posting some more of this suv. Great video

    I am just now doing a headlight mod like this on my 04 Yukon. So can you confirm that the blue wire to daytime lights was the hot wire?

  • @shanaperkins4235

    Total newbie here: do you buy separate led bulbs for the daytime running and high beams? If so - should I be looking for ‘dual’ bulbs or 2 separate bulbs? 2004 Suburban 1500 here - just getting started on mods! Also our dash lights are out too!

    • @CrucialGarage
      @CrucialGarage  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Some headlights come with LED boards in them and you just plug into your harness but mine didn't. I just ordered hi and low beam led lamps that install like regular lamps. Check for a blown fuse or possibly have to get lamps for the dash lights. Good luck! 👍🏽

    Sweet ride dude. But I can’t notice that ur led bulbs. Those are not design for ur headlights.
    Not because of the reflector headlights, because u have an led bulb that’s not design for ur headlights.
    Specifically, those led chips. Those are COB, they are not designed to use as a headlight.
    That will not give u the most download visibility that u need.
    I honestly would get rid of those. And get something that’s worth buying and it’s design for automotive use.
    Like Lasfit that uses automotive grade led flip chips, or auxito that uses CSP,ZES, or LMP led chips.
    Any of those led chips that’s the same size as the halogen coil filament.
    Plus, u won’t blind others.
    The ones u have now, can blind others as well.
    So I would switch to halogen, until u get something that’s worth buyin.
    Again, I’d recommend Lasfit,Auxito, and Sylvania automotive LED’s:
    🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 u will be much happier bro.

    If you switch to the 22's, post a video.
    I have a 2001 Yukon XL with 285/45/22's. I want to increase the sidewall to the next size to 295/45/22 of which won't work unless I install at least a leveling kit. I don't want a lift because I still want to be able to fit in garages and don't want to affect the ride characteristics.
    With the leveling kit you installed does your Suburban sit level? Is the front end or rear end sitting slightly higher than the other end?
    And also is your kit just keys or spacers or does it include hardware also for your suspension to compensate to prevent premature wear?

    • @CrucialGarage
      @CrucialGarage  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I now have the 22s on and will post a video. My truck sits even with my level kit. It came with keys for the front and spacers for the rear(but I no longer use due to installing taller springs) I installed longer shocks.
