About this game:
Ooblets is a farming, town life, and creature collection game. Manage your farm, grow and train your ooblets, explore strange lands, and have dance-offs!
"Nice, you found the town again" - Tinstle throwing shade after the "where's my farmhouse" debacle.
This is exactly how I imagine it would be to move to Canada.
"Oh my god it's a deckbuilder" - As if there would be a Northernlion Tries in 2020 that isn't.
And it's a pretty neat one too.
I thought this was a joke until I continued watching the video... LOL
Game: "This game is about building a peaceful garden and caring for your new home!"
NL: "I'll pave the whole thing with concrete and be done with it!"

Well, he didn't manage to die during the tutorial, so he had to get something wrong.
Also the yellow arrows on the ground pointing exactly where he needs to go
I love all the little "innocuous sentence followed by implying im a psychopath!" thing these NPCs have going on

I know it doesn't fit the format at all . . . but I would kill for a series of this, or at least a stream. This game is prime banter material

I remember that name! That's the game where the devs sold out to Epic without any warning and shat on everyone voicing their concerns about that decision.

this is by far the most funny NL tries I've seen in a while, I'm actually cracking up. everyone must see this, it has everything. i died during the "puzzle" section

This is the game that had its dev team mistreating their patreon supporters. They suddenly moved to an epic exclusivity deal and a lot fans got upset, and a lot were voicing their thoughts on discord, to which the devs were confronting in pretty immature ways. If you're interested, google "ooblets developers reddit", it'll show up.

I mean, the map with misleading information right next to those arrows is a pretty bad play. Saying "farmhouse" and having a barn building on the map will obviously be confusing for some people, but the whole Mayor-isn't-in-the-place-it-says-she-is-on-the-map thing is _very_ bad

I must be blind, what arrows are you talking about? I replayed that part of the video a few times and can't find any.
MisterEktos when it says “meet at farmhouse” every 10 seconds or so a bunch of tiny yellow arrows show up on the ground pointing him to the exit on the left, they’re a bit away from him but look on the ground to the left of his character

i was gonna get this game
until i found out the developers did some really shitty stuff
for what they did
they set up a patreon, with promise that it would come to steam
later after alot of people already donated with them thinking they could play it on steam they *suddenly* change their minds and makes it a epic store exclusive
then mocking the people that basically got their money taken under false pretenses. calling them entitled nerds and losers basically, very toxic devs

Yo! I remember following the artist and or dev on twitter and them announcing and teasing this project and really looking forward to it. Glad to see it's finally fleshed out and looks damn cute and damn fun. Loved the Look At (tm) NL and would like to throw in my toonie cents that I also would love to see a continuation in the form of a mini-series or twitch playthrough.

I'm sorry, I can't condone Ooblets' devs' toxic attitude. I'm happy for everyone who enjoys the game but I personally choose to never give my financial support to developers who don't respect their consumers. It's a shame because I'm a huge fan of Stardew Valley, Pokemon AND Animal Crossing.
I hope people haven’t forgotten what the devs did and said.
From what I’ve seen they were just sassy at anti-epic gamers. Not the best practice but I wouldn’t call that disrespecting their customers. Time will tell how they deal with the customers that’ve bought the game with it being in early access and all

I saw William Fichtner at the LA airport. Unfortunately, it was before Drive Angry came out, otherwise I definitely would have complimented him on his superb performance.

NL tends to work hastily with these games (at no fault of his own, it makes sense for a short one off video to get to as many things as quickly as possible), if he had taken a breather and payed attention he would have noticed the arrows on the ground leading him right to his farm, and that the Grumboire has multiple tabs at the top you can switch between
That being said the UI is still a bit clunky yet and could use a mini tutorial to use! Still the collector part of me is having a ton of fun with this game, and I’m looking forward to even more updates in the future

I'll definitely get this game eventually but not sure how early access it is atm. Like is there already a decent amount of content?
